So... Even though some of you have KH3D already, most ( I guess? ) like me, still haven't played the fantastic game... But from trailers, reviews, walkthroughs and stuff, we can have a notion about the drop system...

I particularly find it interesting, but that's my opinion without playing the game, so it may change, who knows...

I like it, don't think it is a bad point, but i also don't think it's good. I'm neutral to it.

Honestly, I think that it's a really good way to switch between Sora and Riku. Maybe if they included the drop system in Birth by Sleep, only you drop after finishing each world, it wouldn't have been so confusing. I like the drop system :)

I havn't played the game as of yet, but I am intrigued by the Drop System. I think it will make things interesting, and I can focus on both stories at the same time. Its not like CoM where I had to rush through Sora's story to get to Riku's story when I played through a second time!.

I am loving the idea of switching back and fourth between the two!

I like it, It's a good idea. I think it's better than just having two stories to play through.

I don't even know how the Drop system functions, but it seems better than just having the player play as Sora through Part A then switch to Riku for Part B, like Chain of Memories. Of course, what worries me is if I really need to do something as Riku and the game says "Hey, Ansem. It's time to play as Sora. Tough luck". Then I'll just have to scream at my DS.

it seems good but finding all the treasure chests is going to be hard

I don't like it. It's like a cliffhanger or something for me. You can easily switch back straight after but... meh, that's just me. xD

I've played it, and for the most part it isn't really an issue. It can be annoying if you get really into what you're doing, because while you're playing as the other character you can forget what you were doing when you drop back. And of course, it's annoying if you drop during a boss battle. But if you really don't want to drop then you can equip drop-me-nots which replenish some of your time. But if you're just wandering around it doesn't really matter, and it gives you a sense of urgency while fighting which is pretty cool.

Haven't played the game yet to accurately decide, but from what I've seen, it looks pretty cool and is better than just copying what BBS did and having separate parts.

Just completed the game. Think the drop system was a great addition. Added to the frantic nature of the battle system, and did it's job of balancing the play and story progression. Never even felt the need to use Drop-Me-Nots or -Nevers, as I found a Lvl 3 Drop Decelerator (one of the various drop rewards) usually gave me enough time to do what I wanted to do. Only ever dropped in a boss battle once, and it was against Xemnas, and he literally had about 2 hp left >.< aside from that, didn't find it annoying or intrusive at all.
