40 i believe and i dont mean the battle, just the final clash to finish him off.

Just keep pressing A, he's much easier than you think.

Beat him on my first try. For the Nightmare Clash I pressed the 'a' button as fast as I could. You will deal damage so just keep pressing 'a.'

Time it so you attack at the same time he does.

Make sure you're at full health before you clash with him.

And then tap (A) as fast as you can.

Just tap A alot until he dies

Press A for dear life, that's what I did. xD

You have to time it in the middle so that it blocks his attack and hits him instead but ya the a button.

It also helped me to rotate the Circle Pad, I don't know why, but it helped. I didn't receive as much damage.
