I think you have to have a pure heart of light since birth.

But um,

yeah

Prince*

Not exactly. Ventus's purity was artificial (Insofar as it wasn't inherent to him). The princesses' naturally arose from the aftermath of the Keyblade War. (If I remember correctly, their hearts were splinters of the original X-Blade.

It depends there is darkness in every heart, Ventus was pure light because he had his own fractured light combined with a bit of Sora's light. In other word the fact that he had a heart of pure light was manufactured and not natural. When he destroyed Vanitas he defeated the dark part of his heart, he once again fractured it. Now that it is seemingly healed, it is possible for darkness to be present in it again. Whereas the princesses of hearts are naturally devoid of any darkness period. They cannot gain any darkness or be driven to it. Needless to say we will have to wait to find out.

tutti frutti. I wouldn't really call him a Princess, more so a Prince of Heart. More so what Wolfgang said.

Hey since Ventus's heart is completely devoid of darkness and he destroyed his dark half, could he possibly by definition become one of the princesses of heart? :D

Maybe Ventus is a special being of light, like Sora. :)

I'd say his heart can be considered light and pure, but in his original form where his darkness isn't cast from him, he'd be like Riku and have to walk the road to dawn (balancing both powers to be whole)
