August 8, 201213 yr *Speaking from old experience. May be different these days...* A Starter Deck is your basic deck. It contains monsters that are easy to summon and spells and traps that have more-or-less direct effects, like Monster Reborn. Structure Decks are themed decks. They usually revolve around more advanced strategies, like Elemental Heroes or summoning high-leveled monsters quickly (ex. the Felgrand Dragon deck). Structure Decks are more powerful, but they also require a more skilled player to use them. In addition, they benefit more from changes than starter Decks. So all in all, if you're looking to play straight from the box, Starter Decks are usually the better way to go. I find Structure Decks better for collection stuff and augmenting decks I already made.

Do you still get a game mat with a structure Deck?
August 9, 201213 yr Do you still get a game mat with a structure Deck? I think it depends on which ones you buy, but in general I think not.

August 9, 201213 yr One last question can you play yugioh with decks from two different series? Like what? Like between GX and 5D's?
August 9, 201213 yr yeah or like 5D's and Zexal I don't know what a "Zexal" is, but if it's a part of the TCG, you should be able to use it. From Legend of Blue-Eyes to now.

This couldn't be more specific. One last question can you play yugioh with decks from two different series? That doesn't matter. You can play with a Mirror Force from Metal Raiders on your deck while having new cards. If they are legal, that's what matters.
