In Kingdom Hearts BBS secert ending, they announced that another game is coming out. This time you get to play Sora again. I think Riku comes along but I'm very certain that Kairi stays behind. She's pretty much useless and gets in the way, so this is a benefit.

But getting back to the original discussion, who knows? The next game MIGHT not be a filler. I mean, after 3 (4 if you consider Re:Chain of Memories) filler games for the series, I think it's about time Nomura started to rev things up a bit. We need some Sora action after 5 years. yeah it hink it branches out, you know it semi-hints at both, leaving sora very caring to Riku (who in game evedence consist him as a best friend maybe even a brother, yet still leave contax to the imagaintion for yoai fangirls and boys.) but also for Kairi (who he clearly has a crush on, and cares deeply about her) mosly cause there hearts were intertwined in KH1. So as "ambiiguious" as they try to leave it. They do hint at both.

Since Nomura already went and said there are no official pairings and "ship what you want," it really doesn't matter who Sora likes. Fangirls/boys will do what they want, because that's why fanfiction exists.

It seems to me at least, that the new game will focus around Sora (and possibly Riku) helping Ventus, Aqua and Terra (or at least Ven and Aqua) - Because as far as I could tell...Aqua is in the realm of darkness and can be found (she's still young, no doubt Ventus will be the same) Ven is still in Castle Oblivion somewhere (or perhaps he's been moved, you never know) and Terra can't be lost either.

Xigbar/Braig appeared to be the only member that had any clue who Roxas was (or who he might have been, there's that scene in Days where he sees Ventus ((which was a shock to me ))) But then, the whole nobody thing kind of screws everything up for me....i mean, who is Roxas? Is he Ventus? Ventus' nobody? Then where's Sora's? And what about Xemnas? Supposedly Xehanort's nobody...what does that mean for Terra? And anyway, the Xehanort from the first one was supposed to be his heartless! What the hell's going on?! PLus the whole thing with Riku....ugh....so confused!!

Now how would that be relevant in any way to the current situation? Honestly, it confuses me how people expect every little detail 10+ years ago to be remembered when there are bigger things to worry about.

Roxas = Sora's body and soul + Ven's incomplete heart. The heart is just a little bonus that came alone when he was born.

Nobodies are the body and soul, the leftover shell a strong-hearted person leaves behind when they become a Heartless.

Roxas is Ven, just like how he is Sora. Both Ven and Sora are Roxas' true selves, but they are technically not the same person. Ven has an incomplete heart of pure light. He was unable to produce a Heartless, and thus a Nobody when his heart left his body.

The Nobody of Apprentice Xehanort, the Terra/Eraqus/Master Xehanort combination. It's implied that the explosion in KH2 purged the MX half of Apprentice Xehanort's heart (Ansem SoD) from Riku, and now Terra's heart resides within him. This isn't confirmed yet, but just implied.

Considering that real Xehanort is MIA and that the main two games have been dealing with his Heartless and his Nobody respectively, it's pretty much a given that the next main game is going to be about him and the conclusion to his whole Keyblade War plan.

 

Also, I really think Kairi should have a much bigger part in the next game. They've spent all this time building up her story - Princess of Heart, Sora love interest, being accidently the inheritor of Aqua's keyblade power. It'd be a pretty big shame to just leave her in the kitchen on Destiny Island this time round.

 

I have a feeling that the x-blade is going to feature a craplot next time. If Ven's heart is currently in Sora, then Sora has the ability to create the x-blade.

 

And I just hope to god the game is not a 3DS exclusive. That would be a complete slap in the face of all the fans and going against the fact that KH 1 and 2 were PS2 exclusives. Although lately Squeenix has been going down the money route, so peeps better get your wallets out.

Personally, I just think the term "ReConnect" is gonna be a keyword for the plot in the next few KH games culminating with KHIII.

Sora is described as the "key that connects everything" afterall, and the last 2 games before KH3 have already been announced. Nomura's done with the fillers he just needs to release BBSv2 and KH3D and thatll be over with.

so i noticed something. in the video it showed xehanort as ansems apprentice. (at this tim xehanort and terra were fighting for his heart). if you remember in kh2 tho it said that the ansem that sora beat in the first one was really xehanort. so if sora beat xehanort it must mean that terra was destroyed too since it was not only terras body but terra's heart as well. so it leaves me wondering how he is there at the end with ventus. and how the hell they know sora's name!

Um, we don't know for sure if Terra was even destroyed. For all we know, he could have been made himself again and is now lost somewhere. Besides, Apprentice!Xehanort is actually Terra/Xehanort, only without any memories of being either man. It's a side effect of the merge, I think. And the ending of BBS, with everyone saying Sora's name, doesn't happen. It's just there to build more suspense and make us want to play KHIII. We can only hope that DDD and BBSVolumeII can give us some more answers before KHIII, but I'm not holding my breath.
