The Day you thought you'd never see.

Okay, so we all know our parentals are losers who are never going to be cool, (or young) again. Sometimes you have the strict kind, and they ground you for the dumbest reasons, sometimes you have the ditzy kind that have no clue what they are doing.

Sometimes your parents are even halfway normal!

But seriously, despite all that, has your parent ever said somthing that inspired you, or meant something special, or it was funny, or it was just so random for some reason you still remember it? Tell us!

(Why, yes, I am bored, tea party anyone?)

well . i cant think of anything off the top of my head .. but tea sounds good right about now . even thought i dont like tea

amen.

if i typed on here whatever stupidities my parents have said to embarrass me beyond despair, the thread would run out of space.

i try to act like i don't know them when they're being embarrassing, haha.

i guess one thing i remember the most is when my dad tries to hold my hand. rofl. if i continue talking about that, five pages will be filled with rant.

Oy vey... do NOT... get me... started on my parents,

"Talk about blank with a capital B"

My dad was actually the one who started the whole qwigoqwaga thing xD

Personally, one time I was in the car with my dad and I told him I was afraid I'd never learn the guitar. Then he told me the single most inspiring thing ever:

"(my name), there are hundreds if stupid people out therewho managed to learn guitar, and you are not stupid."

Hahaha. I'm serious though.

Another time my little sister asked what a riot was, and my dad said "A bunch of stupid people standing too close."

But my absolute favorite is when we passed a Shell gas station and the s wasn't litup. My dad noticed first; he shouted suddenly "HELL!" We realized why quickly, and then we started making jokes. I took a pic on y phone and sent a message to my friends, saying wish you were here.

When we passed my dad said "Wave to the people in hell, kids."
