I'm starting this to talk about how super stoked I am for this.

I squeeled so loud my neighbours knocked on my door to see if I was okay. I wasn't, I was too busy flailing my arms around running in a circle because I was so excited I didn't know how else to react.

 

I've been waiting for this since....forever. I love sailor Moon, I always have and always will. I would rather give up everything else I like, including KH, than never have Sailor Moon again. They say it's going to be more like the manga, and not whatever the hell those guys that did the original anime had in mind. Not to start a manga vs anime war. I sincerely love both in their own rights.

 

Hopefully in the USA release, Haruka and Michiru won't be 'cousins' anymore. I never bought that for a second.

 

Now, I know I started this for this topic, but I wouldn't mind if this turned into everyone just sharing things they're excited for! What do you guys look forward to?

Haha I like Sailor Moon but I was never aware of this lol..probably because I stopped watching it a while back :0

I have all five season on DVD, and all the movies. And I have three types of clothing; Work clothes, pajamas, and sailor moon t-shirts.

I'm super excited!

It was Gundam Wing done right....though Wing is still my favorite.

Only thing wrong with Wing was Relena and Wu FeiXP

 

I dunno, I liked 00, but Wing will always be my favourite. I think it was Duo..

As a man who grew up during the time when anime was just starting to become popular in the US. I'm not ashamed to admit that I am super exited about this news! It's said that this adaptation will stick closer to the original Manga than the first anime. That means it will be very different from the one 90's kinds grew up with. I'm guessing this means no Rainbow Crystal ark, and that certain characters (like Rei/Raye and her grandfather) whose personalities were greatly altered in the anime will be shown as originally intended. And hopefully if it's dubbed it will not go through the editing/censorship nightmare that the 90's version had to endure.

 

I know that it's based closer to the manga which came out in the 90's and even the 2011 reprint completely ignored Pluto's change in status, but I still kinda feel bad for Setsuna/Sailor Pluto. It's like "Your ruling body isn't good enough to be a planet anymore, so you can't be a part of our team anymore." Can you imagine if the Sailor Senshi actually said that to her!?
