Does anyone know anything about the "Drop Gauge?"

Posted

So, I've been playing this game for a little while now and I've basically got everything down with the exception of how the "Drop" system actually works. Is there a way to control it from going down or no? Because, I just recently was randomly forced into dropping during the middle of a boss battle, and it seemed really odd. This is the only part of the game I'm not crazy about, so does anyone have any tips on controlling the Drop Gauge?

Drop-me-not and drop-me-never gives time back to your drop gauge

well there are items called Drop-me-not which restores a bar and a half and drop-me-never which restores it fully

Hey bud. here are some some things that helped me if you are not in battle you drop from the pause menu. You can also drop at a saved point,as well as the world map. as for on the field so far there are two items that i know of: Drop me not restores some of the drop gauge And drop me never which restore a signifacant amount of the drop gauge but no you cant stop it from counting down on you.

You can also use 10 40 or 100 DP after you drop to slow down the Drop Guage. I believe it's called Drop Decelerator. Though depending on the "weather" in the world the drop guage may drop a bit faster than usual.

Wow, what a great amount of responses in such a quick amount of time! Thanks guys! I was wondering what drop me nots were supposed to be. I guess I should've looked into those. But thanks to everyone! (:

Yeah, you drop from char to char sometimes from story events, sometimes from just playing.

The gauge goes from Blue>Green>Hot Pink>Bonus time (30 seconds)>Drop. Use Drop me Nots or Drop me nevers to restore your drop gauge, and reset your drop gauge speed.

Some attacks like Sleep increase the falling speed of your drop gauge.

You can use the block that stops the gauge every time you block. Forgot the name of it.

You're probably thinking of "Wake-up Block." It doesn't stop the Drop gauge, but it will slow it down by 0.1 every time. However, there's a limit on how slow it can be. Using the Drop Decelerator bonus lowers that limit.
