Our story begins in New York City, the year 2985, half of the state is covered in advanced technology, the other half has been reclaimed by nature and abandoned by those of the city, our story begins when the war has reached it's peak, and the entire military will not seek peace with the creatures.

"He's not a full dragon, he's a half dragon.....why don't you like dragon's anyway?" asked Felphore.

"two reasons: one, they scare me to death, two, it took a year for my wings to heal from there fire!!" Kira yelled, getting up and brushing the dirt from her dress.

"Oh, THOSE dragons, don't worry, the one's with us are melo, they don't harm other creatures, you met a destroyer dragon, those went extinct years ago." said Felphore.

"thank goodness..." Kira let out a sigh of relief. "where is Draco anyway?" she asked. She looked at the arched root she tripped over and kicked it.

Draco suddenly flew down towards the others. "Just scouting that base from earlier......looks like Senior Psychopath's daughter is trying to contact him, probably trying to inform him about my stunts with those recon mech's." said Draco. Draco then noticed Kira. "Oh, hello there, who're you?" asked Draco.

I sat there watching the conversation between Felphore, Kira and Nano. Then Draco came down and started talking to Kira, I got up and tried to see if any of the gods where around here I howled listening if I got a reply. When a big gush of wind blew next to me, "Wait....this..wind is!!" I thought as I turned around to see and white horse. "Kazegami!!" I hugged his neck and he place his chin on my back.

"Hello child of Amaterasu, I see your doing well."

"No need to be formal Kazegami call me.......Snowy."

"Haha your just like our mother."

"Heh I guess I am.....so how are things going in the Celestial Plain?"

"Things are going smoothly but we saw that this area is about to have war."

"Yeah......"

"Mortals never understand each other and always argue."

"I think I should go back to them...."

"Are they trust worthy?"

"I....don't know...."

"We don't want you to suffer because of mortals again....." He looked at me sadly and the wind blowed again. "I must go back they're calling me........well good bye Snowy."

"Tell my mom I said 'Hi'."

"She'll be very happy..." He said going back to the Celestial Plain.....

Kira backed up. "my name is Kira Frost. I'm an Angel." she said, staring cautiously at Draco. Feathers fell as Kira curled her wings in.

"Oh, forgive me if i startled you, kind of wierd seeing a guy who looks 18 but is really 150, and looks like this, huh?" asked Draco.

 

(Hitting the hay now, 'night everyone)

(night. Sleep well.)

 

Kira's eyes were wide. "150...?" she asked. Things were just getting to confusing. "everyone's way older then me... How can you live that long?!" she asked.

"He IS half dragon and dragons are long living spiecies." I said thinking about Yomigami, Draco was about 3 times smaller than Yomigami but Draco is not a full dragon....

"Authorization to mobilize Proto-Evangelion Mk-XX has been requested." A voice boomed over the announcement system. Marcus looked up from his paperwork, pages scattering as he dashed out of the office. The doctor flew into the briefing room, general Narani still sitting where he had been when Marcus left. Had he even moved? "What's happening?" He asked, flagging down one of the nearby soldiers.

 

"It's about the attack on Bethany Base, sir." The soldier answered. "Colonel Naruni had engaged the culprits, but they escaped. They were hybrids, sir." Marcus felt a weight drop in his chest, and the follow-up report of a dragon among their ranks didn't help. Marcus turned to the General, who remained motionless.

 

"So... are we mobilizing?" It was a simple question, the words lost in his dread.

 

"Authorization is granted." The General said simply. There was a moment of silence in the room. No one dared move until one of the soldiers turned to his console, bending the microphone closer to himself.

 

"Au-... authorization for Proto-Evangelion Mk-XX has been granted." He almost choked out. Everyone knew what that meant. This was the beginning of the end.

"He's right, even though dragons are the most hunted creatures, we have the longest life spans, anyway, let's get out of here." said Draco as he flew off.

I nodded waiting for the others response before I would leave.

nano nodded and got up stretching." so what do you think they are doing" she asked.nano rolled her sleeves up and yawned." come on guys" she said more worried about the soldeirs and people at the pase to do something stupid.

I followed them turning into a wolf and walked behind them....

Kira kneeled down, jumping into the sky and taking flight. "as long as its somewhere safe..." she said, flapping her wings. Feathers seemed to circle around her as she followed Draco.

"Don't worry, it's safer than most of this forest." said Maelstrom.

 

"But you must not tell any human that it exists." said Felphore.

 

Draco had arrived at a huge fortress with a large castle in the center. "Well guys, welcome to the rebel base, a place where all who resist being just myths go and train to fight...now, Maelstrom will show you around, Felphore must accompany me to the castle to inform the rest of the council of the recent events." said Draco as he and Felphore left for the castle.

Kira landed, staring at the huge castle. "oh my..." she said, curling her wings in. "this place is... Huge...!" she said. She nodded her head at Draco and turned to Maelstrom. "do you guys.... LIVE here...?" she asked, pointing to the base.

I was amazed I past by this area many times but never bothered to check out the castle. I didn't want to cause trouble for anybody....

Maelstrom looked towards Kira. "Yeah, we do, everyone here has lost their homes and this is the only place they can turn to.....every creature here, are pretty much all that's left of the free creatures, pure breeds aren't that good with hiding, but we can avoid being seen if we wish, but half-breeds have a skill to avoid being seen by any radar, you witnessed that when Draco took down those reconciled mechs and they couldn't react." said Maelstrom as he opened up a door. "This is where the Half-breeds train in their skills of undetection." said Maelstrom as a half-breed came into view almost out of nowhere.

Kira stated inside at the half-breed. "there's so many..." she said, turning and curling in her wings. Things just kept getting more confusing to her. "how will you get lost...?" she wondered.

"Oh, we never get lost in here, sure it's confusing, but you pick it up quick.....HEADS UP!" shouted Maelstrom as he ran for cover. "I hate the 3:30pm dragon fire training.

Kits jumped in the air and went upside down, standing on the ceiling. "I will never get used to this..." she said, staring at Maelstrom. "things here are so strange..." she said.

"Oh if you guys want I can put up a wind shield so the fire won't reach us." I wrote on a scroll as I made some flames dodge me using my tail/brush.

"Don't worry about it, it only lasts for about 5 seconds.....so, who wants to know what fighting units we have?" asked Maelstrom.
