The Reaper’s Game~

 

I woke up…… on the street? What? I look up to see people walk by. A lot of people. Haven’t they noticed me yet?..... I’m in the Scramble. Picking myself up I walk to a nearby window. My white hair is still tied like my Childhood Hero. I look the same…. But a feeling tells me no…..

BURN

Ak! Something really burns! Wha the- I look to see my hand….. flashing….. a blue clock…….

2:00:00

My iPod 7 buzzes and I grab the thing.

~Go To CatStreet. You have 2 hours. Fail and face Erasure~

It says “From The Reapers”.

What the…..could it be….

“Scratch”

Ow! I look to see a frog with tattoos?

“Scratch”

Eep! Another one?! I look out to see…..more……

I know this…..

It’s the story……

Could I…… be playing The Reaper’s Game……..And if so…….How did I die?

"With what Skull?" I asked not knowing what to do at all.

"Help me get revenge." I said charging up the blasters as metal circled Wolf's Rage and as my rage grew stronger...

"Oh your two are no fun but we'll just save you the trouble and we'll-" Chase looked at them with a smile as he lifted the claymore. "Just have to finish you off with everyone else right now." Keith finished off as he aimed the sword forward. "Take this!" Chase jumped as he swung the heavy claymore at Skull. "You shall die Player!" Chase hissed with his glowing green eyes turning into a flame of green. "Sayo sweetheart I believe you shall die as well!" Keith howled as he went after her with his sword at his side. It sliced the voodoo doll in half with a mysterious white light.

"You're all gonna die!" He howled from his spot on the roof while he looked at Skull. "I'll erase all of you form here forever! Just like my brother who got killed by another Player!" They would all pay now. All pay for his brothers death, the death of his partner when he was a player. Looking at Skull he snapped his fingers before pointing at Skull. "Death is a painful thing when you remember it. You'll remember this."

"Bastard i'm gonna get you this time." Jumping up onto her feet she looked at him with a fury before looking at Skull. "What did Noro say anyways?"

"TIME FOR ROUND 2! CHALLENGERS PLEASE STEP ON THE DANCE FLOOR." The Dance machine then suddelny gre smaller as to now only have orange pads vs green. Perfect for 1on 1. I waved at Uno, "Good Luck!" She waved back and got on.

"The DANCE BEFORE WAS SET ON EASY. THIS ROUND WILL BE SET ON MID. THE SONG FOR THIS ROUND IS PONPONPON BY KYARY PAMYU PAMYU!" Oh wow....that's one tough song to dance to.....

"READY......3....2....1. START!"

 

"Real one." I simply states, strikeing a goldem needle into Keiths voodoo doll, smiling like a freak.

I saw the claymore and put my weapons in a X form and my left eye started ingiting again and it gave me strenght to throw back the claymore. I looked at him my left eye bleeding black blood, "I know you don't have to repeat it I was there you know?" I thought to myself, 'I can't even live again I just repeat this game over and over because its amusing to 'him' I'm nothing but a toy...' And remembered his brothers death, he was a friend of mine I tried to save him but I was pinned to the wall with swords and once I got off the wall he was already gone....

"That was only one of my dolls..." I sighed, weilding my little daggers. "Come at me..." I laughed.

I looked at her worriedly, 'Will she be ok?' I thought to myself pulling up my hood it fell down when I was dancing.

Uno was against a girl with a very frilly play dress. She knew this would be hard. But she would at least try. Be strong.....like the others......

The arrows on the screen began to light up, not too many but a lot. At a limited pace. The first move was to act like you were holding a microphone while swinging your left foot back and forth. She did so. Next was to shake your hips while pumping your right hand in the air and tapping your left foot on the ground.. Then you were supposed to make a googly eye face while spinning around 2 times. At the end of that you had to act like you were swinging a baseball hat while moving your right foot. Uno kind of took too many steps for the spins and hadn't manged to kick her right foot. Next was the shake your hips as you swing left and right. Uno noticed the girl next to her was having some trouble with that. Then came the main move right, tap your butt, clap your hands, pat your shoulders. kick your legs in while wiggling your fingers next to your face. And Uno manged to do that! Uno glanced at the girl's screen and realized she was 200 points ahead of her. Uno bit her lip and did the same move 4 more times. Then they had a free limit jump where they had to jump as fast as they can. Uno manged to jump 25 while the girl jumped 23. Then you hand to spin around 2 more times and do the tap butt thing again. Then came a move were you had to jump and pat your head 7 times. And finally came the worst move of all. The jazz hand thingy. Uno bent down and moved her hands back and forth then quickly turned....but that caused her to fall. Everyone gasped but Uno quickly got up.They repeated the same moves again till the very end when they did a high jump.

 

"DANCE OVER! PLAYER 2,600 POINTS. REAPER 3,262 POINTS."

Uno walked over to me, "I'm sorry Destiny....."

I gave her a soft smile, "No, it's ok. You gave your best shot."

(I was listening to this song eariler ;P)

"LET'S HERE FROM THE JUDGES!"

"Very well. Team 1 just needs a little more groove. Team 2 needs a little more step." Neku replied.

"PLAYER MINUS 50 POINTS. REAPER MINUS 50 POINTS."

"More facial expression again from team 1." The lady said.

"PLAYER MINUS 100 POINTS."

"Falling....and Team 2 needs more jumps."

"PLAYER MINUS 300 POINTS. REAPER MINUS 100 POINTS. WINNER IS REAPER!"

I pat Uno's back . I'm up next. I looked at my partner who was a Reaper in nothing but black clothes. I need to beat him or it's over for all of us.

I looked at the sky and said, "I have faith in you Destiny." The message was carried by the wind. I hoped that it reached her... I looked at Keith and wondered if he even remembered me...but the Composer probably erased his memory of me. I didn't feel like care now...and I wondered if Noro was doing okay right now....

I watched the dances that happened so far, and I loved each one. I gave big claps for all the player teams. At one point I saw some of the other players head to some portal. With my right hand on my chin, I think: With most of the other players gone, there must be some kind of battle. But I think what or whoever they're going against won't need my help. Especially since I don't have a partner. But that sounds a little interesting.

(Let's kill Keith. Well maybe kill him. I'm still deciding if I want him dead.)

"Let's deal with them in one hit." Chase grinned as he grabbed the other ones hand. The claymore and sword disappeared before a rather large creature appeared in there place. It seemed to be a mix of blue and red as it stood on two legs. It's back had the claymore coming out of it's spine while the head had the sword attatched to itto ram the others. "Session deal with them!" The twins shouted together as the creature went right after Shinra and Skull.

"This is NOT fair! Why are they always overpowered!?" Grabbing her hair for a second before she pushed herself and Skull out of the way of the now rampaging Session. "I swear this is not a good reason to die for. So which one do you want to go after? You got a grab on Young Keith, Chase, or Reaper Keith. Take your pick so I can go and kill one of them."

I was suddenly awoken by something stomping on my chest. I sat up with a jolt, and looked around, but nobody was there. I stood up slowly and.... strange, no pain... I looked up and saw a giant skirmish still going on, Skull and Shinra looked like they were in a real pickle.... I tried to summon my sword but nothing appeared, and now my hand wasn't hurting either. I felt a presence behind me and saw Sayo kneeling on the ground, looking down at where I was just at. 'Sayo?' I said, putting my hand on her shoulder. But it didn't stay on it, and I went right through her. Suddenly, thoughts of me dying flooded my head and I remembered Skull saving me. 'Not this again!' I mumbled, and sprinted up the stairs towards the roof. I hope I wasn't invisible to everyone....

(well I'm not supposed to kill you...)

I was slightly ma that the other player moved me out of the way but understood that she was trying to help. And looked at Keith straight in the eyes, "Do you think your brother wanted you to kill all the players for him?" I questioned jumping at one of the faces kicking it back so it lost it's balance and fell to the ground so we had tie to deal any damage without worrying about the creature. But felt my side hurt again this time more painfully...

(Could Sayo kill him? She's pretty mad now.)

"You missed with the wrong girl...to bad..." I laughed, going a little Yandere between Noro and Skull. "Your not to funny either." I sighed, pulling my three daggers and my voodoo doll versions of Chase, Keith and the others. "Like them?" I asked with a crocked grin, my eyes full of rage as I stumbled to them carefully, stabbing Chase's doll.

Once I saw the voodoo dolls I left her to Chase and Keith and went to fight the creature. I started running and put some strength into my left foot to be shot into the air and started rapid firing at the thing and once I was out of bullets I smashed it with Wolf's Rage leaving a dent in it's chest. I got rid of my left arm cannon and combined it with my right laying it on it's stand and aimed at the thing's chest and shot a 10 second laser leaving a hole in it...

(Why do I want to turn Keith into a player? Damn my ideas........ Beat the crude out of Chase and Keith please.)

"Drawing don't have hearts and-" Chase mocked Sayo as he wagged his finger. "they certainly can't be harmed by your voodoo dolls." Keith mocked her while giving Sayo a sly smiled. "The real thing doesn't have anything left." Chase spoke calmly. "No sanity left to destroy." Keith spoke the same. "No life left to take away." Chase spoke again. "There's nothing left for the voodoo doll to take when his humanity came crashing down." Chase smiled as he snapped his fingers. "We'll make a deal with you. Beat us we'll give you something to beat him." Keith spoke softly. "That is the will of his dead brother after all. he wanted his brother to be set free from the chains of his death." Chase spoke again. "The real Keith isn't even that but trapped rather from a Reaper. The one that looks like me is still trapped here thanks to the Compuser." Snapping there fingers again Session ran at the players with fury. It never took damage. it wasn't even there..........

"Sayo don't waste the energy. All of these are fake. Even Keith the Reaper over there. Something happened and now I believe I figured it out." She shouted as she twirled to dodge the angered Session that was slamming into everything.

"Well If they are all fake! How am I supposed to fight!? I can only fight living things!" I yelled, looking around at all of the fake attackers.

Elsewhere I heard much conflict. So much fighting. As I got there, It seemed as though two people were antagonizing Sayo. One snapped, and I responded by snapping as well, unleashing an inferno towards the two. "I suppose I'm going to meet more and more Shinigamis. How droll." I muttered, snapping away with fire again.

"Session. That beast all you got to do is drive it in the right direction. Ever rode a horse?" She smiled devious at her little plan. "You're really gonna hate me when I do it btu i'm not doing it that's for sure Sayo. Anyways this si sorta in your field of insanity." She smiled still as she got ready to do something.

"That is not a good thing is it brother?" Keith shook his head as he noticed the fire. "Shit!?" Barely if almost just to late they moved out of the way. Only to fall on the ground as they looked at each other with worried expressions. "Just think if we where alive. That would of been so terribly bad. Hey he singed my hat." He noted glumly as they watched them with cautious looks.

(They realized the fire but they hardly, if at all, noticed me!) I thought to myself. I shot fire repeatedly at them, irritated at them neglecting me being here. "WHAT, AM I TOO MUCH OF A MICROSCOPIC LITTLE PIPSQUEAK THAT A SHINIGAMI CANT EVEN NOTICE WITHOUT A MAGNIFYING GLASS?!" I yelled at them, still shooting blazes of heat.

I watched the fight being ignored and my eye ignited a white flame this time but my side hurt even more. I only had 20 minutes to kill him but it was enough I flew up to them and hit them hard and I watched them shoot the ground making a large crater..."Don't underestimate me...." I whispered...
