The Reaper’s Game~

 

I woke up…… on the street? What? I look up to see people walk by. A lot of people. Haven’t they noticed me yet?..... I’m in the Scramble. Picking myself up I walk to a nearby window. My white hair is still tied like my Childhood Hero. I look the same…. But a feeling tells me no…..

BURN

Ak! Something really burns! Wha the- I look to see my hand….. flashing….. a blue clock…….

2:00:00

My iPod 7 buzzes and I grab the thing.

~Go To CatStreet. You have 2 hours. Fail and face Erasure~

It says “From The Reapers”.

What the…..could it be….

“Scratch”

Ow! I look to see a frog with tattoos?

“Scratch”

Eep! Another one?! I look out to see…..more……

It’s the story……

Could I…… be playing The Reaper’s Game……..And if so…….How did I die?

'Sessions gone and our weapons won't reappear for a while longer Keith." Chase whispered to him. 'All we have to do is keep them from the rooftop. They still have yet to figure out which one of us is the real one. No one ever knew it really but I can't do anything until the beat him themselves.' He whispered back while looking at the scene. Did he always cause this much trouble? He couldn't even remember how he got out or who helped him do.

"Let. Go. of. Me!" She growled as the Reaper held her face to the ground. Admittedly something seemed 'strange' about him but right now she wanted him to let go already. It hurt to have her face smashed into the rooftop and no one knew about it. That's how she wanted it to stay as she pushed him off while getting ready to go after him again.

The girl wouldn't get out of his way. He had two extra people to kill before the players could be dealt with. How he even managed it was a mystery. None of them had ever figured out where the real Keith went anyways. A fake had been his replacement to help manage the game but there where very few ways to even identify the difference between the two anyways.

"God Keith! Just give it up! If your trying to kill us just show your real self!" I yelled, looking away avoiding the holograms. "If your trying to kill me, them come at me...I don't care. We can fight here and now without the holograms." I grunted, crossing my arms.

Chase and Keith looked shocked as they looked toward the person who had shouted it. "Where NOT holograms! Get that through your skull already!" He wasn't going to give it away yet. Noro might e help when the other one and Chase was gone to explain what the hell happened to him but for now. "That's IT your gonna pay for that remark." Chase ran at them with the sword appearing in his hand. Time for pain.

 

"Okay Okay Okay, then If there is a fight, there is a fight. There is a fight. Someone here is going to die today." I laughed, turning around, staring at Chase, dodging easily his attack. "I'm involved in black magic." I smiled, my eyes turning yellow, and a voodoo doll of Chase appearing in my hand, me stabbing it once.

"No HEART. No way your dolls will kill me!" He held his ahdn up for a second as a bright flash coated the area before seeing that Keith had vanished with the doll. "Disable!" On the ground was a familiar design seen on some of the other dolls. "As long as i'm here the magic with your dolls won't work." He smiled again as a second sword appeared in his other hand while eh twirled them around. "Now prepare to die witch!"

"Witch? No one here has called me that yet, but you pulled the wrong nerve..." I mumbled, holding up my three daggers. "Daggers should do..."I whispered, whipping around Chase quickly, stabbing one of the daggers into his shoulder. "Fight me." I laughed, holding the dagger in place.

He laughed as he looked at the dagger. "Really you think that can touch me? You aren'tt o smart then." Preforming a side kick he knocked them away while leaving the dagger in his shoulder. "I believe this is going to be your end. Not mine because my has already come long before this but I just got something to fight for again........." Keep distracting just a little longer till he could point them off at the Reaper fake.

"If this is my end, when Is it my end? Why are you not fighting me?" I asked, holding my daggers tightly, staring at Chase.

"Why would I spoil either of those questions? When is something realy there? When is just a illusion of fate? Does anyone really understand it at all? I remember when fate came for me. Only to end up here again after I died and vanished or at least I thought I had. The same goes for a lot of people here." He pointed one sword toward them with a dull expression. "Nothing ever wants to just make it easy for you. My brother gets to know that even more so now that he's come back from the grave. That composer is not to be trusted.:

"One last time...Fight me." I yelled, flipping the direction of my dagger, the dagger under my chin. "I will kill myself with pride and joy." I smiled, closing my eyes a bit instant that he fight me. "So fight you DUNCE!" I yelled.

(Noro I'll be using more than one emotion for now. This is a shinigami after all.) I cast Sayo, Keith, and myself air shields as I ran towards Chase. I slashed at him a few times, trying to remember my parents. (Noro...get mad. Get sad...now.) I started to chase Chase {this was unintended} with a raging inferno and a tidal wave of 132° water.

(Don't forget, I'm a Reaper too, and like me, Keith can be disposed of the same way. I'm not sure if you remember, but there was this battle I was in with Skull, and you came up there to fight me. You beat me too, by freezing me. Now Skull erased our memories, but try hard to remember and I'm sure you can beat Keith like you did to me.) Maybe if others could learn from my mistakes, we got put a halt to this Game. I haven't thought about it in a while, but what's the Composer up to? I sat in Josh's conscious, a dark place, yet often times illuminating itself with colors to reflect his mood. I know Josh from the past life, but how? Maybe I could find something in his head to reawaken his memories.

(I can only remember a bit, but its enough to know that I can win.) I thought to him, shooting Chase and Keith together with earthen catapults. Still trying to remember my parents, I engulfed Chase with boiling water and fire. I had put him into different heat sources, who knows how fast his skin will burn..? He already had plenty of 2nd and 3rd degree burns, so I kept splashing and shooting him, continuously. (I remember this heat helped you, what is Chase's strength?)

"Josh, why are you attacking him? You know I should have fought..." I mumbled, getting a bit lightheaded from my Yandere attack, I shouldn't have said things like that or even fought in the first place! What was I even thinking? Would Chase even fight now?

"Shut up..!" I told Sayo angrily. "You don't have to do everything yourself, let ME handle it! Just rest now...." I said, casting a minor healing spell on her then turning back to Chase. "You can help if you want Sayo, but you're not doing this alone."

"NOBODY tells me to shut up--do you want to have a repeat of yesterday?!" I yelled, bringing the dagger away from my neck, lowering the weapon.

You know those times when you see those players dancing to a screen that has nothing but millions of arrows on it. Now was one of those times. Many arrows at a extreme pace. Could I handle it? For now yes. And so could the guy I’m going against. First you have to step forward then back in a 5 secs. Then you have to move left and right 2 times in 8 secs while proceeding with crossing your legs after that. After 31 secs of that you slow down and move up and down three times. Then move left and right three times. Spin while pumping up your legs 2 times and repeat. Now time for a dance off part in the song. The guy I go against stops as I spin and shake my hips all the way to the floor. Then I stop as he spins and acts like he’s playing a guitar. We both do this again. Next comes a bunch of colorful arrows. Right, left, up, up, down, left. Right, down down, up, left, right. Then comes a ultra move your feet session. Where you do nothing but slam your feet on the arrow boards while jumping. Bum,bum,bum,bu-bum,bum,bum,bu-num. Then comes the hardest part of all. At the 1:28 mark. “With a hop-step, shall we dance, my darling?” In that part you go as fast a Sonic the hedge hog. I could feel and hear the board shaking from all the jumping and moving we were doing at this part. To keep me in rhythm I started singing with my gasped voice, “In the Conner of the whole world a one-two. One little crash and I feel like I’m sparkling. This lovely sense of melting into you!” And now for the extreme part. You have to kick out your legs while spinning. Now stop and cross your legs while jumping and slamming the arrows. Left,right,left,right,le-ri le-rig,left, right! Finally your halfway through so now you get a little breather my simply shaking your hips and moving left and right. I glanced at the guy and he looked like he wasn’t sweating half the much as I was. 2:00 and now it’s time for another dance off. He goes first by doing a little hip-hop move then pointing to me. I do a quick disco point while grinning and spinning then point back to him. He does a rather sort of robot techno move then points back to me. I get rather frustrated and shake my butt at him while sticking my tongue out leaving him a little dumbfounded. Now comes the fast part again. Left,right,left,right,le-ri le-rig,left, right, cross, cross,spin, cross, cross, “Those things are so boring. I would rather die!” KICK OUT LEGS TIME! I kick as high as I can while spinning and crossing my leg at the end the repeating. And now the ending part where you follow the arrows, “Sayonara, with such happiness. To the ending world, I will say, ah-!” . Left,right,left,right,le-ri le-rig,left, right, END!

 

“DANCE OVER!”

"I told you last time I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU DO TO ME! Stab me constantly, I don't care, but I'll tell you you WON'T like how I'll react. Now STOP BEING SUCH AN IMMATURE BRAT!!!" I yelled furiously. (Good, I was able to keep that dagger off her neck. Let's see if she will take that as picking a fight.) I prepared myself with fire and water. Who would attack me now...?

"Nyan, a feisty one. Why don't I take care of this" I asked with the craziest grin. "To bad little germ" I smiled, stabbing his shoulder with no mercy, my eyes a treating dark endless red pit of death. "I'd love to get in a fight with you, I haven't seen you battle yet." I smiled.

I reached the place where the vodoo girl and Isaac were fighting...suddenly he was attacked y her.. while he was trying to contain the reaper... i launched a pixeled blast at the vodoo girl stopping the attack at Isaac... Hah you telling that and you also need help! i said to him as i get starting to enter combos... we are partners all of us on this game... each one doing what they need for survive...so lets play... you Sayo... Trust us for this time would you? i asked her...

(Control your anger Josh.... If you get too mad you'll give it away that I still exist and we can't let them know.... yet. If Skull found out, we could all be doomed.) I continued walking down a long hallway in Josh's head, memories of his past displaying on the walls, while some of them were impossible to see due to the extreme blur. I looked around and saw a face on the wall that looked so familiar..... Wait a minute! It was- Suddenly, I felt a sharp pain in my shoulder and zoomed back into to the battle taking place. (Josh, Sayo's taken it too far. She's unable to be controlled and calm and needs to be subdued. I need you to do something that'l be hard on both of us, but maybe it'll knock some sense into her. Beat her within an inch of her life!)

"I dont trust anyone!" I yelled, pointing my dagger at this boy who I had no clue would even attack me. "Why did you attack me? What do you want me to do." I asked, about to stab him. "The only reason why we were put in this game is because of our past lives! History Repeats itself every day!" I yelled, about to stab the holy crap out of this dude and laugh as they all died.

"Let me take Sayo, Auron. You get Chase." I turned to Sayo. "Do...not...call me...A LITTLE GERM!!!!!" I snapped and repeatedly blasted her with fire and boiling water. "DON'T CALL ME A TINY LITTLE PIPSQUEAK OF A GERM SO SMALL THAT I CANT DROWN BECAUSE I CAN BREATHE OXYGEN OUT OF THE WATER!!!!" I moved the air shield around her so that she would suffocate for a bit, then grabbed my voodoo doll with the air. I kept blasting her as the air kept her stable. (I don't have a damn problem beating her, Noro.) I turned to Auron. "Stay far from Sayo, this is my personal fight!" I yelled grabbing his doll with the air too.

GREAT. I was burnt, and couldn't breath. I forced my arm up, fighting the effects of the stable air. "Let me go. I'm sorry, just let me go!!" I yelled, using up the air I held back, now completely unable to breath while in intense pain.

(Correction: trying to almost murder her....)

 

I used the air to crush a bit more, before I finally released her, my hands still teeming with magic. "Pull any more tricks and I wont hesitate to kill you." I lied. "You said you wanted to see me fight...that's what you got."
