The Reaper’s Game~

 

I woke up…… on the street? What? I look up to see people walk by. A lot of people. Haven’t they noticed me yet?..... I’m in the Scramble. Picking myself up I walk to a nearby window. My white hair is still tied like my Childhood Hero. I look the same…. But a feeling tells me no…..

BURN

Ak! Something really burns! Wha the- I look to see my hand….. flashing….. a blue clock…….

2:00:00

My iPod 7 buzzes and I grab the thing.

~Go To CatStreet. You have 2 hours. Fail and face Erasure~

It says “From The Reapers”.

What the…..could it be….

“Scratch”

Ow! I look to see a frog with tattoos?

It’s the story……

Could I…… be playing The Reaper’s Game……..And if so…….How did I die?

I was in the road, sleeping on my bag, my shoulder was taken care of, and I turned my head, tearing open the fabric from a sleeping bag and bringing out some fabric, it was time for me to make me a couple more voodoo dolls so I can get revenge.

She remembered finishing her headphones that now sat on her head and they where very similar to Neku's as they where close to her forehead so the hair blocked her eyes. It was also plugged into her iPhone. Then she had left with Destiny before everything had went completely blank. She was stiff and aching. Shinra was debating whether or not to open her eyes as she tried to focus on what was around her.

Oh god that was a awful position to sleep in and the pen was stabbing his upper arm so a nice purple bruise as there. Just great so nice of them always so caring. Ya right. "Day two just perfect for me to have some fun now where did my hat go?" He got up lazily trying to spot his hat before he found it and put it on as he stashed the dolls, four of them, in his pockets before he went next to Noro and began shouting. "Get up! Day two is here!"

I was on the building from yesterday when I woke up, I then remembered the boy who saw me luckily he ran off. "Hmmm so what's the mission for today?" I thought as I looked in my hand it was a black pin with a skull on it, "Player....Pin...." I yought knowing its name some how.

I heard that everyone was waking up, so I forced my eyes open, not wanting to get up. My now finished voodoo was at my side, two of the old ones where made up as Noro and Keith. "I guess I have to get up then..." I yawned, sitting up and rubbing my eye. I picked up my little dolls and stuffed them in my bag, brushing my hair and tying it in a tight ponytail. I whipped off my dagger with my shirt and put them in my pocket. I stood up, and looked around, then to my shoulder which looked much better this morning. "What are we doing today?" I asked openly, looking to see Keith running over to wake up Noro. My face turned grim as I saw the dolls in his pockets. 'So he's the one who took them all...' I thought looking at the back of his head.

"Get up Noro. I have to go burn the fifth doll before I get to annoy the Players today. You have five minutes before I roll you out of your bed onto the nice cold floor." He said to Noro while he pushed the dolls further in his pocket. Four dolls all dressed differently and all where unable to act as voodoo dolls anymore. Two where dressed and where players. Two where younger and looked slightly beat up. "Sayo's going to be a top pick for annoying today. I should of heard her yesterday but that's what I get for not paying attention. Makes me wish my entry fee wasn't my sight. Oh well and Sayo I know your listening so mind your own business little witch. Otherwise i'll give you a reason to be scared after all what would you think of being attacked by black and white figures of your family?" Silently he hoped he hadn't went to far yet. He was still healing from yesterday. 'Hope I can get a few first aid kits from Haru.'

I growled underneath my breath and crossed my arms.

"I'm not scared of you...And would people just LEAVE ME ALONE?" I yelled, about to pull out a dagger, but I stopped.

"God I hate this game~" I sighed, looking down.

"Look, If your going to kill me then do it, kill me. I really dont give a crap." I yelled, looking straight at the back of Keith's head.

"Sorry but I don't give into what they want when they want it. Not my style Sayo." He smiled darkly as he faced Sayo's direction. He would never see them but what of it? It's not like it matter anymore not after the first time he became a player. Not after she died, not after she came here with her brother, not after she was erased all because he couldn't protect her. Silently he brought his pen out before doodling one figure in front of him with a slight smile before drawing a brick. "So no can see the sins I placed for foolish mistakes that I brought to myself." He smiled when everything blacked out making it so Sayo could hear him no longer. "That takes care of that and she is not going to like this........" He bit his lip after noticing that he would have to find the time to see Haru for a bit of medical treatment as some of the wounds became infected already. "Take it easy and I won't die. I can do that hopefully." Silently he wondered how he was going to deal with this odd bunch of players. 'Never has a group been this way before or this skilled.'

While I was waiting for the mission I looked at the Player Pin wondering where to put it. My skull headphones needed a new disc anyway so I made the pin flaten out and made a replica and took off the existing disc and placed in the new ones. Then had a sudden urge to go a place named "Scramble." So I got up and started jumping roof to roof.

'Aw man, he's got me...' I thought, looking at the pin in Keith's hand. I could'nt hear, not at all, did he cancel out my hearing in my right ear?

'I guess he's going to kill me, but then I guess I'll have to fallow my rules; Don't feel anything.' I thought looking up at Keith.

Waiting wasn't one of his best things but he need to go to Naru first so badly before the infections spread. "She never likes it when a Reaper comes in when the players are but I didn't think there would a witch, a special girl, that girl Destiny, and the other brats. I'll just pay her to keep her from going completely crazy on me." He rummaged his bed and brought a total of two thousand dollars while planning to give her one thousand of it now to keep her from yelling at him for doing this or for doing something so stupid on the first day when the players arrived. "She acts like my mother. She manages to scare me like my mother. Oh the sweet memories of the lovely little women when she died just before us." He loved that day a little bit for the death of one of the witches in his life.

I managed to reach into my pocket, getting a dagger.

"Get to the point already!" I yelled, throwing the dagger, but It not hitting anything but the ground.

'Why am I not doing well, is it because I can't hear?' I thought, looking at the money on the ground.

Quickly I lit a match from the few I had in my back pocket, dropping it on the ground, burning the money.

"I will never forgive you for killing me." I snapped, looking at the smoke rise.

(I didn't see this start! Grr...)

 

I felt as if I was asleep. No...I think I was dead. A voice ringed in my head. 'You are now a player...in the Reapers' games. Wake up now...you are already over a day late.' I felt alive again, and got up in the corner of a street. One memory popped right into my head. My parents were dead, over some 'Entry Fee.' I looked at my left hand to see a timer. "A game? What exactly do I have to do?"

-Day 2-

 

"A party is the perfect way to organize the new employees of the New Reaper's Game."

"I guess you could say so."

"Don't worry Composer the new one will surely do as well as you"

 

“And in the name of the Moon I’ll Punish You!” I whispered and shouted as my partner was still asleep. We were back at the Scramble and I was practicing the famous line of SailorMoon! Yeah I know it’s strange…….

My ipod7 then rung. I picked it up and read the message.

 

Find the Blue Monkey. You have four hours or face erasure.

-The Reapers

 

A Blue Monkey? Can anyone say Looney Tunes Much? I grab the tonfa that hang with my belt, “I’M READY!” I scream out loud. Heh heh I am so stange……..

"Great..." I yawned knowing that my phone rang.

I saw the white glow of it and read it. I stood up in the darkness, looking around, clutching my shoulder, it hurting again. I managed to find my way around, opening the door to the light. I fell on my knees, my ears ringing. "Nngh, what's going on, I'm being hurt by someone...Keith!" I said, looking around the ally to see Keith's figure in a window. "I have four hours, I can take care of this." I said, breaking my way into the building where Keith was. I looked around to see Nono, and Keith. "Hey, why am I not hearing anything? Are you controlling me, are you trying to kill me!" I yelled at him.

I felt a vibration in my pocket. "A phone? Weird considering my parents never got me one when they were alive." 'Find the blue monkey or face erasure.' "A blue monkey? HOW OLD DO THEY THINK I AM?!" Annoyed, I started running looking for the monkey. 'I'm READY!' I heard in the distance. (What kind of people did they put in this game?)

yawnnnnn... huh? the scramble? again? wait, when i were to sleep? ..... i said as i was looking around... looks like it wasn´t a dream after all.... 2nd day and without a partner... this is not good.... well at least i survived the day1 huh? No time to worries... i said for myself... firts up find partner maybe someone doesn´t have one .... and then- Just in that moment my cell phone make a noise... huh? the mission!! - "Find the Blue Monkey. You have four hours or face erasure.-The Reapers " hmmm ... a blue monkey? that doesn´t make sense....ouch... i shouted as on my hand the timer appeared again... well time to go and find that. i was going to start my search when i saw a small kid... light skinned, has blue eyes, and has blonde hair .. he has the same player pin? mmm i wonder...

"Haru I need the slightest bit of help before you yell at me saying i'm not supposed to be in here right now........." He stood in one of the darker areas ready to leave when a player came in if at all right now. Silently he wondered if beaiting her with money would work this time. 'Of course it will at least in this amount it will so no worries Keith she won't kill you today.' At least he hoped she wouldn't do anything for popping in again.

She mumbled under her breathe before shouting at Destiny. "Quit yelling!" Okay not the best way to say it but her ears hurt and Destiny was not helping it at this current moment. "So want to get moving or should we visit the cafe before we go out after a blue monkey thing that isn't most likely friendly?" She spoke while looking at Destiny with a tired and somewhat annoyed expression.

"Hey! I'm over here blind guy!" I yelled.

"It's your enemy, SAYO..." I said, bringing out a dagger, looking at Keith sharply, she was glaring at him.

"Look, I just came here okay? I found you." I sighed, reaching into my pocket, finding his voodoo doll.

For Haru it stared off a normal day till all hell broke loose when Keith the Reaper and a player who came to the Cafe yesterday but was too late burst in. Now Haru was mad...... Grabbing three knives she threw them at the two, "HEY YOU DAMMIT GET OUT OF HERE!" She kept throwing knives at the two.

 

 

I sweat dropped once seeing my partner awake, "Sorry....But yeah let's go to the cafe!"

 

Meanwhile- The Composer had wondered if she had remembered anything from that night. But who was he kidding that was a part of her entry fee. He laughed it off and summoned more noise to appear around the place the Blue Monkey was.

I blocked the knifes with my bag, saving Keith as well, getting my dagger out and repaling the knife form Keith and me.

"Okay then let's get going. The girl last night sounded serious and we never came. SHe might not be happy right?" Oh she didn't know how right she was about that. "I just hope one of the reaper guys don't appear anytime soon though. Even though I want to know what they can do so badly though." She sighed but began walking quickly toward the vafe with a small smile on her face.

(Oh. I was asking if you could just forget the posts before and have Sayo appear all crazy in the cafe ready to murder Keith when she saw him.)

I knew the person who was in charge of the Cafe.....but I rather not tell my partner. Well.......because......EH!

We walked in the Cafe to see Haru throwing knives at what looked like another player and the Reaper from before. WAIT WHAT! "Haru!" I yell.

Haru stopped and looked at me with flames in her eyes, "WHAT!"

Sheesh she's mad......
