@ topic that was pretty amusing to watch .Personally what makes 'f u c k ' a bad word ? Because " we" said it was .Thats the only reason . Someone years upon years ago decided it was bad . Imagine if no one had decided it was bad and everyone just used it without a second thought . Funny to think about .It just takes a bunch of people to decide a word is bad and wam! its bad . I still don't know why saying 'pisses' is a bad word. IMO its not really that bad .But thats just me ..Funny thing is half the time bad words are used its bc they are "bad words". If they werent labeled bad maybe they wouldnt be used nearly as much ?

Exactly! It's people who take cursing to the extreme that makes people think 'Oh hey, that should be a bad word'. But that's alright, my parents taught me they were 'bad words' as a kid too, and I still use them when I feel like. It doesn't hurt anyone more than a 'good word' like stupid or idiot, or even retard. Retard can be very insulting and hurt people, why isn't that a bad word?

The original meaning of 'awesome ' is describing a mental condition and wasnt originally meant as an insult but people using it as an insult to mock others did . But yeah its horrible to say that to someone or to mock anyone by using that anyways as a bad word as someone born with a mental condition is born that way and cannot help their condition .I guess my point is we, society, have deemed most bad words bad on our own terms and not because the words were actually bad.In turn ,it just makes many people use them more .Especially kids lolz

In regards to those being bad words, it's likely because of what they mean. For example, the f-word means "to have sex," while "piss" means "to use the bathroom" (basically). A lot of people don't like those things to be used so haphazardly in social situations, so it was determined that they were "bad" words. Or at least, that's my take on the matter.
