well..next year I go to college...I want to go for physics...and I have started thinking about a Ph.D already...My dream is to become a quantum physicist but beside that I also love the theory of relativity,atomic physics and elementary particle physics...I was doing some research I think that what I found didn't include this other topics in the quantum physics (...is this so??

and if anyone knows,is there any modern physics Ph.D?...because that should cover all of these subject

Don't rush your studies like that. Sure it's nice to think about going through the next level but keep it at a steady pace. If you think too far ahead and wants to skip a level, you will regret it. College is not like high school. College will determine on what you are gonna be for the rest of your life. Think before you go through the next step.

Oh, you're not American. Sadly, that explains a lot. American's seem to have lost a lot of their drive and desire to accomplish things.

 

You obviously never went to history class either. If you looked through history, you can see a shitload of people from America that have a desire to accomplish things. Now how about today? Yes we all still have a desire to accomplish something. Whether its something useless or completely useful to anyone, it's still shows a desire to do something. Clearly you fail to see everything in America these days. There is so much ambition sprouting out of nowhere that you seem to be looking at the other way. With your ignorance, I can see why you don't know that much about America at all. Before you come generalizing 314,317,478 million people, first go outside and see the americans, and see how many people still have ambition. You can find it almost everywhere. I bet you're just looking at the younger generation, because if you're, they don't need to worry about working their butts off all the time. Look at the grown human beings (18+) working their butts off to achieve something because they have more freedom. Don't over-generalize anything. Makes you seem like a prick.

 

I disagree. There is LOTS of driven and ambitious people and you are generalizing a whole country of people .As if you know what they are like and what their aspirations are. You shouldnt judge a whole country of people you don't know . I went to college with plenty who work their ass off to achieve their goals. You HAVE to in this economy .If anything, people are working harder than EVER because its a must right now .
