Why didn't anyone take a rock and threaten the deer?

Not necessarily throw it at the deer, but threaten it would've helped instead of yelling "STOPP".

It's stupid and foolhardy but I would have sacrificed myself for that dog.

I would have done something like that, atleast protect the dog in one way.

The dog, Star, got away limping after 23 seconds (I filmed the dog's owner, whom I could hear but not see with my eye on the camera... that's why I ended up cutting)—since posting here we have been able to contact the lady. HER DOG WAS HURT BUT RECOVERED.
