When im playing BBS, The audio in the background, mostly just the music, not the voices or sound effefcts start to skip and make this really annoying sound, almost like a broken record but faster. It stops if i cut off the psp COMPLETELY, but it starts again in about an hour or so. its extremely annoying, Does anyone know what the problem could be or know how to fix it. it would be a great help

Edit: Here is a video. you can mostly hear it towards the end :/

scratched umd? maybe :/

Nah, my UMD is in perfact condition, not a scratch on it. plus the game is new and was opened about a month ago. about to upload a video so you can see.

you might have a smug on the umd disc

Your laser lens could be dirty this often times prevents your psp from reading the disc properly. Take a cotton swab and put a dab of rubbing alcohol and clean off the lens.

is your PSP up to date? or perhaps its an old system?

Where is the laser lens?

I had a copy of BBS that seemed to be in perfect condition, but when I would play it, my PSP would randomly pop up with the menu asking "Are you sure you want to quit this game?" even when my finger was nowhere near the Home button. It would do this over and over again, which was particularly annoying when I was in the middle of a boss, and it got to the point where I simply couldn't play the game because that menu popped up so frequently. Tried other games with my PSP, including a different copy of BBS, and they all worked fine.

My suggestion: get a new copy of BBS, it's probably the UMD.

THAT HAPPENED TO ME ON MY FRIENDS PSP. what you do is on the side of the back that pulls out when you put the UMD in, there are 4 little metal things, just wiggle those around and it will work for a while, then keepdoing it again, but it works

First cutscenes, now the audio? I wonder what's up with that thing.

As I said before, hax.

This is creepypasta bait. Damn, you should make creepypasta from this and creep everyone out.

I don't have a psp or BBS so I can't help you though.

When you open the umd drive you'll see a clear blue thing that is the laser lens . Note: only use a cotton swab to clean it if you scratch it it won't read your umds, and your psp will be firetrucked.
