Anyways, I just thought about this right now. Since Sqeenix is pushing out these HD collections, starting with KH1FM, Re:COM, and some Days cutscenes in KH1.5 Remix....that would mean KH2.5 Remix (I would assume it would be called that), would have KH2FM (*prays*), Coded, or even Dream Drop Distance. In fact, I'd bet they do the same thing they're doing with Days in the first collection, and just shove out some Coded cut-scenes in favor of having the full games of KH2FM and DDD. (Seems legit, right?)

 

So, then, there lies a question: what about Birth By Sleep?

 

I mean, I can remember a while back (this was even in the KH13 news bullentin) that Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep was ranked on a list of PSP games that fans wanted to be ported to PS3. I don't remember the exact ranking, but I can guran-damn-tee you it was pretty high. (BBS is one of the best PSP games ever made. Real talk.)

 

Logically, I can see Square Enix taking above initiative. Birth By Sleep kinda deserves to be a stand alone title anyway, considering its a prequel to 1. I mean, it would make more sense if it was packaged with 1.5 Remix in the first place, but I digress.

 

So, what are your thoughts? Port or no port?

 

Surprisingly, that's all I have to say. I usually have my first posts so long you need to scroll to read the entire thing, but right now...meh.

 

Maybe that's why I'm using 18 font to overcompensate? 0-0.

calm down, no matter what, it will be Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep Final Mix, and Kingdom Hearts Re. Coded Cut Scenes, that's how it will be, it doesn't have to be called Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD Remix, and even if it is, WHO CARES, you are saying we shouldn't be able to play Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep on PS3 in HD just because you don't like it being named Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD Remix? seriously? get over it

 

No, I think this time they don't run outa time and complete Coded in deadline.

Added to that, whereas coded would basically *need* remaking for an HD version, KH 3D can be simply ported over, like a PS2 or PSP game since the graphics are pretty much at the same level.

Not quite bro, not quite. PSP and PS2 are very similiar graphics wise but a big step away from HD, plus they had to remake the control settings and get rid of the touch screenn gizmo thing. Coded resolves the whole Naminé story.

I don't see them putting DDD in a 2.5 if there is one.

It would be kinda wierd replacing 3D with Hd.

 

My guess for 2.5 would be:

Kh2

BBS

And cutscenes from Coded

I would love it if BBS was remade for the PS3!!! It would be epic! And I'm thinking that if there is a 2.5 HD Remix, that it'll probably contain KH2FM, BBS, and cutscenes with Re:Coded, but I doubt that KH3D would be included, given the fact that it would be way too soon to port it to PS3. I'm guessing Birth by Sleep would be included in a 2.5 ReMIX, but only time will tell for sure.  It's sure be nice to have BbS on a system other than a portable, though!

I think it's not only possible, but likely for BBS to make it to the PS3. It's an important title, it was already on a PS system so its easy to port, and if they don't port it then that means 2.5 will only have one playable title... So... take all that and you get a very definite probability of port-ness.
