-Prologue-

 

The Old Composer, Joshua, gave the last watch to the players of the week before, “You will need these to keep in contact. They are designed to look like watches but are a lot more. You’ll easily get lost in this world so look out. I will be here and this is where you’ll report back at the end of the day. Oh and one last thing…” The players gave him a rather questionable look. “There will be one more person to your team.” Joshua looked at the blue door.

The door was pulled back to reveal a teen with somewhat messy black hair, he also wore a watch. Joshua pointed at him, “This is Takayama Akoi. He is my apprentice and will be helping you…or will try.” Akoi looked at the players and glared at him. Joshua looked at all of them, “Well I wish you good luck…”

“Try to survive…”

 

-Day 1-

 

I woke up to see all the other players asleep. Sigh…it’s expected. A little tug bothered my hand. I looked to see a green flame like clock with the numbers 3:00. Well that was expected too. The time started to count down as I looked at the other players. That’s when my cell phone rang. I flipped open the phone to read the READ ME message…

 

“Go towards Cirrcuke Ave. Defeat 100 noise. Go!”

- Grims

 

Heh, simple enough well…..for me. I cancelled the massage and began to data this right away. Yes, I keep tract of every moment in my phone. Best way to discover and complete….

 

“Day 1, Mission to go to Cirrckue Ave. Defeat 100 noise. Players still asleep.”

 

I put my phone back in my belt and get up.

Time for real…

Then the memories of Day 1 came back slowly on my mind.... Mmm... that´s why i couldn´t remember him.... Mmmm... He were erased too...Matt... Tetsu... Uno... Destiny... We need to end this for all of them. I said to Sayo.

"Question is...how do we finish this? It seem impossible now..." I said, watching Isaac.

 

(short post...)

I slowly opened my eyes, remembering I was still in the castle. All of the candles had mysteriously gone out, and it was still raining. It was very dark outside too, making it nearly impossible to see even in front of me. I stood up slowly and stretched out, raising my arms behind my head and then reaching down to my toes. "I'm getting too old for this..." I mumbled to myself. I wonder if Skull feels the same way I do... I decided on waiting to start searching for Destiny, sitting back down in the throne. Man was it comfortable.... I hadn't been this rested since I was in the Cafe with Keith during the first week... Before Sayo stabbed me. So much had changed in just two weeks,I met my daughter and nephew in the Game, resigned from my Reaper position, became possessed by a maniac, was killed by best friend, returned from the dead, became old then young again, and now I'm sitting in a ginormous castle floating miles in the sky.... What the hell... I never imagined any of this to be possible when I was still truly alive outside of the Game. But what was I supposed to do to escape? The Composer was absent, there wasn't a mission for the Players to complete, and the Day wasn't ending. I put my head down and began to think even harder. What could I do? Destiny was probably in the castle somewhere, luring me into a game of Hide and Seek. But yet, I still felt a new presence of evil down in the city, not Selim nor Akane's, but.... Isaac's. My eyes suddenly widened as I remembered the task I'd given Sayo and Auron. I grabbed the necklace around my neck and talked into it. "Sayo, I need to see you all in Heaven's Fortress as soon as possible... The stairway is very long and is about 9 hours by foot, so see if you can get help from Bronshu or Diasor, maybe they have a machine or something.... Oh and be careful about Isaac. Don't tell him this, but I think something might be wrong with him..." I hoped she could hear me...

I heard something...almost like telempathy, It was Noro. I listened closely to him. I grabbed to the necklace and nodded. "Auron, we need to go. We need to find Bronshu and Diasor. We need to go to Heaven's Fortress...wherever that is..." I said, standing up and brushing my dress off, then staring at Auron. I walked to his side and whispered. "Isaac...he is getting consumed by the darkness...something's wrong with him..." I whispered, then turning to Isaac and picking him up, starting to walk out of the castle.

~Isaac~

The darkness inside me began to take over my subconscious mind as I was asleep. It knowing me...or it BEING me, the darkness knew exactly what I cherished, exactly how to get to me in dreams.

 

~Isaac's Dream~

I ran up to my old home with a new book for me to study magic on. "Mom! Look what I got!" I said running up to her. She smiled and messed up my hair a little bit, 'That's what I always liked about you Joshua. You're so smart..." she said to me. I closed my eyes for a split second and smiled. As I opened my eyes after I looked up to see my mother as a living corpse. 'Too bad you couldn't even keep us from dying...!'

Auron~

Isaac... but he can´t... mmm... what are we gonna do now? I wispered to her as we walked into the staircase.

I looked at Isaac, then back at Auron. "I guess we find someone who can teleport, so, Skull would be the best person to find..." I said, fallowing Auron.

I decided to leave my death spot. And I put my hood on then began to walk to the skyscraper. When I remembered....

 

~Flashback~

It was raining like this too I had ran away from the experiment lab. And I still had my tag...

 

Test Subject: #0

Birthday: Feb. 13, 1937

 

'My birthday is February 13....? 1937?? That's like 70 years ago....how do I have a 7 year olds body? They probably put enough chemicals in me to make me grow slower and live longer........' I thought to myself as I sat in a alley way...

~End of flashback~

 

'That's right my birthday........I'm at least a hundred years old........with no organs....how did I live that long.....' I felt weak remembering my birthday and found an alley way and headed towards it. Then sat against the wall finding a dirty piece of plastic.....it was the tag.......

~Isaac's Dream~

I backed up and ran away after seeing the corpse of my mother. She was right, I couldn't save her- I couldn't save anyone. I was stopped by my own shadow as Sayo's words ringed in my head. 'Isaac, I cannot keep that promise.' The shadow wrapped around me and controlled my thoughts as I could still hear it in my head. (What if I'm the next one Sayo to kill?! I might be controlled soon-- and Sayo despised Oron...even inside Noro's body. She wouldn't have a problem trying to kill Oron then, who's to say it wont be different now?! She's...killing me soon...)

 

~Reality~

With my mother's corpse and those sudden thoughts, I couldn't take it anymore and I woke up. Sayo had picked me up and walked out the castle to who knows where... I got myself down and walked beside Sayo. "S-Sayo...who else would you...kill?" I asked silently.

"Who else would I kill? Hm.....it depends...Akane is number one on the knock out list...and if Selim resignes, he's number to. I don't know why Bronshu and Diasor would be on the list. Destiny would be between Akane and Selim, depending on how she acts. I wish I could kill Noro sometimes, so maybe he number four? Man I'm just confusing myself." I sighed, shaking my head. "Number one: Akane. Number two: Destiny. Number three: Selim. Number four: Skull Number five: Noro Number six: Auron? You would be last. If something happens to you, that makes you want to kill us, and you attempt to kill us, that might change. Bronshu and Diasor have no reason to be on my list. Isaac, you have nothing to worry about..." I told him with the slightest smile.

I looked up as rain hit my face and I held the little tag. I then put it in my pocket and got back up and teleported on to the skyscraper. It was more foggy up here so luckily no one would be able to see me. I sat down and zipped my cloak together making it look like I was some sort of ghost with arms. The white eye opened again, 'Do you remember how you first died?'

'Not well enough....but I was protecting them....'

'True but you were already dead when that happened.'

'How!?'

The white showed a blurry picture of a doll....it looked a little like me....and there were needles in its head and heart............

'......thi......s........ca....n't be true.....'

'I have the all the data from your first death.'

'Either way....I have to make sure they get out of this game.......'

'Even after the truth.'

'What's done is done. Besides I would have died anyway......'

I let go of the necklace and pulled it off of my neck, hearing the conversation between Sayo and Isaac through it. She.... would kill again? She felt no remorse about harming a person? She even be willing to murder family, but how could she hurt Skull? My hand trembled as I contemplated the words Sayo had just said. Hadn't I told her we could save Akane and Selim, so there was no need to kill them? Hell, we pretty much have Selim on our side... This saddened me greatly, as it seems Oron was getting his way. She had a personality similar to him... meaning I'd failed in truly destroying Oron. His influence on this world was definitely still there, just take a look at the city! Suddenly, the shell necklace slipped out of my hand and fell to the floor, crumbling into pieces. "Shit!" I shouted, picking up the pieces frantically. I sighed and set them on the arm rest of the throne, wondering how I'd be able to talk to anyone now... That's when I remembered Skull, who had telepathic abilities. Hopefully he'd feel that I needed to talk to him and communicate with me.... "Sayo.... I asked for you to protect the city from chaos.... yet here you are, willing to cause it." I slammed my head back against the throne in anger and accidently knocked myself unconscious. I dreamed something.... Skull looking at a foggy figure. They began to talk, then the figure showed Skull something.... I couldn't believe it... This was the first time I'd ever learned of Skull's original death, as I'd already been dead myself... but still, Skull took the truth in stride... Why was I seeing this? Suddenly, everything went black.

~Isaac~

I continued walking alongside Sayo, still nervously. (So she still will kill...even if it's not me...I can't be at ease. I suppose I should've realized that when she didn't promise.) I looked at Sayo and noticed her shell necklace lose a faint glow that it held. "Sayo what happened to your necklace?" I asked, luckily able to change the subject. (Did something happen to uncle Noro?) Suddenly after thinking if him still as my family, the image of my mother as a walking corpse showed in my mind again.

"Hm?" The image disappeared as I got up and looked around. 'I heard someone call my name....who though?' I did a scan and found out it was Noro. I teleported to my old friend and saw him unconscious. I transmitted to him, "Noro! Noro! Wake up it's me Skull! Wake up!" Then the white eye opened again, 'Do you wish to see the whole thing?' I responded, 'Now!? I said I don't care that she killed me.'

'So you don't want to know?'

'......show me......'

I turned around just in case Noro woke up and saw my bloody corpse... A little screen came up and first was Noro standing in front of us. Then the three reapers they started charging up their weapons and fired. I ran in front of Noro and took the hit...I was still alive at the time. When I heard a piercing sound behind me....it was the doll. A needle through the head and heart.........the screen broke and shattered....

'So that's what happened.................'

I pulled the necklace off my neck and noticed it did lose the faint glow. "Hm...I don't know. It was broken, so it might have to do something with that..." I said, looking at the large crack in the necklace caused by Selim. I sighed and put it in my dress pocket. "Nothing to worry about." I said with a smile.

~Isaac~

"Okay." I mumbled to Sayo as I looked up at her for a split second. Of course...rather than Sayo I saw the face of my mother's half-decomposed corpse. I looked away quickly. "Come on, we should probably go and find Noro or Skull."

I stared at Isaac. "Noro said for us to go to Heavens Fortress, where ever that is..." I said, turning to Auron behind me. 'Is this truly who I am? A cold blooded killer? One who wants to kill her family...and her friends...Is this truly me?' I thought. 'This isn't me...that's just a side of me...isn't it? Number one: Myself. There are no others who I seriously want to kill but myself...I have to keep my promises...' I thought, letting my hair cover my eyes,and I turned around.

~Selim~

A shadow appeared in Heaven's Fortress-- by Skull and Noro. "Something amiss, Skull? You look troubled." I said as I looked at Noro, "Him too it seems."

 

~Isaac~

With the images my mind had, I kept a distance from Sayo. "I...think I know where that is." I said walking out the castle and looking up, (back in the rain) I thought. Looking to the ground now I see a puddle of water, (I'm still so pale right now).

(*claps* thank you Schemer. *panda hug*)

 

"You do? Where? We need a fast way to get their...Auron...could your game teleport us there?" I asked, knowing it wasn't the time to get in an emotional break down...

Auron~

Emm... i think i can....I was still sad... but i needed to keep going... if not all of them... - Ok hold of my hand. I said while with the other hand i was introducing the code in the game... Entered. Hang on guys. This will be a little moved trip!! Teleport Point !! I shouted as we teleported at the inside of the castle... Phew... made it. I said as i looked around.... it was a long hallway... 

"Oh Selim. I'm fine." I said pulling down the screen and wondered, 'I'm surprised he's worried about me. I would suspected him to ignore me."

~Isaac~I brushed my hair back again to try and get some water out, once Auron took us to Heaven's Fortress. "Thanks Auron..." I mumbled silently, completely oblivious as to how to get to where Noro was.~Selim~"Don't I even warrant a hello? I haven't seen either of you in a while, much less talked to you, Skull." I mumbled

"Ah sorry. I don't talk to much." I said as the white eye opened again. "So do you need to talk about something?"

I slowly opened my eyes again and saw my friend Skull and a strange looking figure conversing in front of me. Skull seemed... different somehow, almost as if many years had passed. My memory was hazy for some reason and it hurt to think.... Where was I? Why did I feel like I was 30? My eyes suddenly widened and I summoned my sword. "Skull, what's going on here?" I questioned crazily. "Who the hell is that and what happened to you?" I screamed pointing the sword at Selim. I couldn't believe it! I was in my mid 30's and- and I couldn't remember any thing!

"What!? What's wrong?" I questioned utterly confused.
