Ways Xehanort's plan could have unraveled, part 1: Birth by Sleep

wait what does ventus having a connection with sora have to do with unraveling his plans? is it cuz Roxas helped to create kingdom hearts?

I still want part 2.

Anyways, I like this plot. Nomura should take lessons from you.

It may or may not be her nature but it's her job. That was her mission in the first place, to bring Ven back home and all things considering, yes, she really had to. Letting Ven run around "because the plot needed him to" is a bad excuse to have Aqua forget her mission to make it convenient for the story. He wasn't possessed, no one made Terra do anything there. That's why it's a "what if" question. Xehanort didn't touch Ven for the majority of BbS.They lacked information because they didn't do much to try and get it. A tragedy isn't marked by lack of information, it's marked by the inevitable happening and the things that happened weren't inevitable which is the point of this topic. Too much happens on MX relying on the other characters to do the worst things possible for things to go his way and I don't buy it. These tragedy isn't tragic.

Ven did just accuse Aqua of letting the title of Keyblade Master get to her head. I just assumed that was her way of showing him that she wasn't the tyrant he was accusing her of being by giving him the chance to go back by himself. But I agree. It might have been better if she forced Ven to go back home. Aqua seemed to be thinking "I'm losing my friends!" instead of thinking logically.

About Aqua "lying".... In the Japanese version, if I could remember correctly, a better translation of what Aqua says is "I've been to the same worlds as you...and I think you're getting too close to the darkness. She never says she "saw" him do anything.

Terra did shoot out Braig's eye because he let darkness control him. He also let a potentially dangerous mad scientist go on the word of the aforementioned scientist. Terra believed Jumba's lie about 626 because of his master issues.

Aqua was right about Terra. He was getting too close to the darkness. I would prefer if there was a reason for Aqua to be correct. Would it have been too hard to have Aqua witness the fight between Terra and Braig? I suppose because they were chasing after the giant unversed that would have taken too much time.

How about having the Grand Council Woman say something like "We found a man dressed like you, and he let a dangerous scientist we had detained go"?

Why not give her a better witness to Terra's irresponsibility and foolishness than Maleficent?

Overall, it seemed to me that Birth by Sleep changed a lot from editing, and Aqua got the brunt of this.
