In the far off future the world has wasted all of it's natural resources for fuel and energy. The greedy goverment was against bio-friendly and cheap energy that what was left of nature could provide. So they directed themselves to use toxic and atomic energy. This was very unstable,but managed to fuel the earth for a few more years.

One day something went extremely wrong in one of the labs. The bases filled with Toxic wastes of all kind broke and all of the toxic wastes spreaded out. This formed a chain reaction around the world's different toxic plants. All of their dangerous and highly contegious chemicals spreaded into the air and nearby waters. The world was sorrounded by the worst kind of reactive chemicals possible,and there was nothing that could be done to stop it,or to protect the people from it. The coward goverment took the representatives and their families from all around the world and hid within the bunker,for it to be sealed for years,until the chemicals cleared out.

For the rest of humanity. They payed the price for greed. Many,many people died because of inhaling the chemicals. By the pass of 6 months,70% of the world's population had either died because of the chemicals,killed them selves,or starved to death. The other 30% though. Have been lucky.

This 30% have become inmune to the chemicals,and their bodies have actually embraced them. Many have had their bodies deform in horrific yet useful ways because of the chemicals,but they still live. Pretty much their bodies 'adapting' tp survive. Others have gained 'powers' because of the chemicals. Others haven't really changed,only becomed inmune to it. Humans aren't the only ones. Animals have managed to adpat to the chemicals,and morph into bigger,and more dangerous versions of themselves.

In this world that is now nothing but a wasteland,a war for survival rages on. The deformed and the 'human' don't seem to get as along. Water and food are scarse and animals are hard to catch with their new shapes and forms. It's survival of the fittest. Kill or be killed,by human or animal;or both.

Will there ever be a cure for our destroyed world?

-Bio: "I was agent of goverment until the incident happenend. My boss promised that me and my family could get into shelter when I retrieve toxic from medical facility which could be used to make new anti-virus. That wasn't hard mission, but when I got back the doors closed before me. I heard familiar voice saying: You have done well Jake, now give the toxic to us. We can't let you in though, but you shall be remembered as man who sacrificed himself for the future of humanity. Like I would take that kind of talking. I took my family and toxic with me and waited if they still wanted it, I wouldn't hand it over before we would get into shelter.

Then that fateful day... I had just returned back to my house and my family was taken hostage. Then when I went to rescue them I got attacked.. The toxic injector broke and when I woke up, everyone around me had died including my family. I had changed. Now I'm this monster.. Now I only live to get my revenge, drag those bastards of Pentagon here and kill them!" Jake said to his audio log and looked down to world that had changed.

-Bio: Mia was a normal girl living a normal life when the toxins hit the world. Slowly and painfully. She had to watch as the toxins made her family and friends sick,killing every single one of them. Everyone she knew had died in a matter of months. She patiently waited for her turn to die. But she never really felt sick enough to actually die of it. She then decided she would atleast try to live while she waited her time. She hunted for food and waited. Her time of death never really came,as she eventually became immune to the toxins. But with that,her body shifted and deformed with time. Her human arms grew large,and stumps and spikes and blades as hard as steel appeared in replacement of normal human hands,having them only to add weight onto her body. Not only that,but her hair became somewhat alive. She has becomed an abomination. Using her huge 'hands' to kill animals,and using her hair to be able to get the food into her mouth,causing the ends of her hair to usually be covered in blood. Her 'hands' are useless for anything but fighting and killing. She can't even hold a glass of water to drink.

Mia walked around the wasteland. The forests weren't alive as they were once. They were only dead,burnt up trees and stumps. The animals would feed off eachother or other toxic waste. Thankfully Mia could eat them and not get sick...thanks to her body becoming immune,like others. Mia walked around,dragging her arms around the dirt,leaving obvious trailmarks,not like she'd bother to even cover them up. She looked up and looked down to hear her stomach growl. "I haven't eaten anything in 23 hours..."Mia muttered to herself. She rose her arm a bit and looked around. She could hear some noises of something chewing. She walked around and turned to the side to see a deformed rabbit. It was nomming down on one of it's fallen comrades. Mia's hair moved around a bit. She carefully walked closer and closer to it. It simply kept eating the dead commrade. Suddenly Mia rose one of her arms and slammed it down. Splat.

Mia rose her arm as blood and guts were splattered all over the place. Mia stared as she walked closer and knelt down. She was pretty hungry. Unable to use her hands or arms to pick up anything or even do a fire,and without any electricity left in this dammed world,she was forced to do many things she never thought she'd do in order to survive. He hair carefully moved down and started to pick up the bunny's insides. The heart,the brain,the guts,the eyeballs would be considered a treat for her. She brought the heart up to her mouth and bit down on it. Blood splattered everwhere inside her mouth and down her lip. The taste was horrible,but she would force herself to not puke it back up for her own good. She forced herself to chew and swallow as the taste of blood would never really get any better.

 

'When did I get into this?' Rie thought as she continued walking. She heard a buzzing sound in the distance to see a black jet flying far away toward her. 'Not the government after us few again...' she thought, silently turning into the woods. 'I wish I had some friends or someone worth talking to...you feel so isolated after a while of just wondering around all over the place with no hope at all of finding shelter, food, or water. Heck, I get lucky finding the slightest drop of water. I'm extremely lucky but it dosen't seem like any of us are going to live. Look at this place.' Rie thought, trying to hide herself from the government plane in the few trees. The buzzing stopped and Rie walked back out into the path of dead stumps and rotting animals. "Disgusting." she stated, bringing her jacket closer, fallowed by a sneeze. 'Immunity sucks. Maybe I could just be like the others...' she thought, gripping onto her sword handle. Rie took a deep breath and shook her head. "Not now Rie.." she mumbled, letting go of her swords, slowly walking ahead with nowhere to go.

-Bio: Before the whole incident with the toxic fumes, Jake was in his first year of high school. When the toxic fumes started to affect people, he tried his best to survive on his own, as he had been doing since his parents died when he was 10, however, he tripped while running and landed on a sharp, quill-like spike and fell into the recently contaminated water, when he was able to get back to the shore, the quill-like object had disappeared, or so he thought, he discovered he was affected by the toxic fumes and could use and retract quills from his legs and entire upper body, he is specifically intolerant of immune humans.

Nearby, Jake was practicing a few fighting moves on a tree, tough he preferred being called Quill now. After a few more punches, the tree fell and crashed to the ground loudly, as it was dead anyway. "Another day, another twenty-four hours scavenging for food, though, that mutated lion last week was pretty filling, why couldn't it have been a rhino or a giraffe though, sheesh, ever since those government rats caused this.....i will get them." Quill said to himself. Quill then started practicing a few moves with his sword, swinging it around like a stuntman would in a movie or stage performance. After his sword, Quill moved to his sai, swinging it around a couple of times before throwing it tip first into the ground. Finally, Quill shot an arrow from his bow into a nearby tree, extending his quills when the arrow hit. Quill then shot a few of the quills from his hands at a farther away tree, not noticing a girl walking by.

Rie barely saw the quills coming for her, but she managed to block most of the quills that this person shot at her with her sword. 'When I said I wish I would have never gotten into this did not mean that I wanted to die the next five miunets...' Rie thought, putting her swords down and looking at the man. "Oh? Another deformity? Or is this an effected one?" she asked, twirling her swords in her hands. "My name is Rie, I have an immunity to these toxin's and prefer not to be attacked. Now next time I suppress you to watch where your shooting, you could have seriously injured me." Rie over exaggerated, looking at Quill with a hateful smirk. "If you insist to fight me, then I will fight you. I just can not make any promises on the turn out. You a seilded grown man with quills and arrows; and me, a poor little immune 17 year old girl traveling by herself with horrible weapons. Add on to that I'm starving to death..." Rie said the last part rather quietly and irritated. "So what is your choice?" she asked Quill inpatiently.

Quill looked towards Rie, but didn't look to happy about her being an immune human. "Immunities are the ones who caused this, but since you're not wearing government colours, i won't fight you." said Quill, you could hear a bit of anger in his voice when he spoke. Quill then retracted his quills, showing he was an affected human. Quill then started walking away, but remembered how Rie said she was starving. Quill slowly stopped walking and looked to the sky. "Ugh, i'm gonna hate myself in the morning for this." Quill whispered to himself. "If you want something to eat, follow me, i've still got half a mutated lion left, and enough water for two people, just keep up if you come along." said Quill as he waited for Rie's response.

"How could some human possibly trust a person who just tried to murder them?" Rie said rudely, turning around and walking away, back into the tattered street. 'Stupid Rie! Stupid! Why did you not trust him?!' Rie thought to herself, clenching her fist. 'You get a pleasurable offer but then waltz off without care for yourself. I can find food, I can find water. Survival of the fittest! I don't just need to go and beg and beg people or the stuff I need. I can help myself. I should know I can help myself but sometimes I just say things I should have never said...' Rie thought, looking around. She saw something scurrying quickly on the ground, a mouse that was fairly sizable. "I can help myself. Survival of the fittest..." she mumbled, quietly walking over to the area to see the deformed mouse on the ground.

Rie sliced the mouse's stomach and put her sword up. "That was easy enough..." she mumbled, picking the dead mouse up and looking around. "I better get going." she whispered, wrapping the mouse up in a small black cloth and walking down the road, looking for shelter.

 

"Hmm, i guess she can handle herself." Quill said to himself before beginning to walk again. Quill then heard something grazing and quickly drew his bow, firing an arrow at it. However, when the thing he shot came out into the clearing, it turned out to be an enraged mutated rhino. "Ok, not one of my best ideas." said Quill before the rhino launched him into the air, causing him to land near Rie again. "Oh, it's you." said Quill. Quill then did a handspring to get back up and saw the rhino coming at him. "Sure ya don't wanna accept that offer, i'm making a nice RHINO SHISH KABAB!" shouted Quill as he extended his quills and ran at the rhino. Quill backhanded the rhino in the head, sending it into a tree before jumping back a few feet. The rhino the got up and charged Quill again, but Quill got out his bow and shot it at the top of the rhino's neck, killing it and causing it to fall and skid to a stop. "I had to say rhino, didn't i?" Quill asked himself aloud, plucking the arrow from the rhino.

It was pure chaos.

People ran away as hooded man walked closer. He raised his deformed arm and slashed people down and then continued walking forward slashing everyone in his sight.

"It's okay, these people would die anyway soon, better to make them useful before it" Jake thought and then heavy doors in front of him had been sealed. "We should be safe for now, lets just wait until that monster goes away!" people talked inside the small shelter.

Jake looked around if he had any way inside and when he seemed to be unsuccessful he went in front of door and said: "I really didn't want to use this, but it looks like I have no other way around.."

 

Some gore now:

 

Jake put his arm on door and it started to spread inside: The infected flesh. Soon people started to scream as blood splattered around as flesh shallowed them and then door opened: It was all red. There was infected flesh around, which seemed to be it's own life form and some people who weren't shallowed by it.

Jake absorbed the flesh back on his arms and people's memories struckt inside his head. Jake hold for the pain and then he fell on his knees as his arms started to deform once again. "How many times will this happen" Jake thought and slowly rised up as pain went off

 

 

As Jake was finished with dirty job, he looked at corpses and said: "Now for the main objective" and then he started to pick them up one in time to infect them and people started to deform slowly there and Jake went away. "You shall be my hunters, go and devour more humans as we grow evem bigger until we can destroy that fake gorverment which is hiding"

Body - Skinny, with a black collared shirt and blue jeans with normal running shoes. His sweater has worn away over the years, so he wears what's left of it as a makeshift hooded tattered "cloak," the sleeves rwapped around his neck with the hood over his head.

-Weapon: A simple survival hunting knife.

-Bio: Sam was just about as average as a teenager could get. Living in the countryside, he learned how to hunt from his father from a young age. He went to school and got average marks, he wasn't social but he didn't shy away from crowds either, and he had a couple friends. Of course, this changed when that toxic disaster happened. Everyone he knew, his friends, his family, including his little sister, was killed. But for whatever reason, he was immune. Now he's just wandering around, looking for anyone or anything that hasn't been killed or mutated beyond recognition.

Rie rolled her eyes and walked off, not wanting to have to do with anyone or anything at the moment. She walked a little further and then looked around, seeing a small shack like structure that she could fix up. "Maybe that could help me a bit..." she mumbled, walking over to the small shack and laying her cloth on the ground,finding some pieces of metal not so far away, quickly grabbing those and setting them around the shack to look like the shack was not destroyed. Rie managed to expand the roof of the shack a bit, and layed herself and her bag of few things on the ground, forcing herself to eat the mouse she found in absolute disgust. 'It's best If I get some sleep now. Who knows what might happen...' She thought, looking down at the dead grass below her. Rie found her father's long coat and wrapped herself in it, laying on the ground, trying not to touch the grass a lot due to toxins that may be hidden. She held onto the sleeve as a small breeze of wind blew by and slowly fell into her silent sleep, trying not to be bothered.

Mia looked up as she eventually finished eating the mutated bunny. He mouth and neck covered in its blood. It was the worse taste ever...nothing she could do of it. Mia's hair lowered down as its ends were drenched in the blood. She stood up and looked around. "It's going to be feeding time for the big ones soon."Mia says. She looked up at one of the hills. It had a single dead tree standing there as the rest of the dead forest. "I guess that would be a good place to start looking."Mia says. The toxins had made her legs stretch a bit,making her taller than whe was before. This was good though,or else her arms would be more of a burden than they already were. Plus hair hair was bloody and out of place. Made in two ponytails that were bearly hanging on by two pieces of lace. She wasn't human anymore to her knowledge. She didn't looked human anymore anyways. Mia walked up over to the hill,dragging her arms through the dirt. She walked up the hill and stared up at the big dead tree,she then turned to face the dead forest. "Big ones should be here...somewhere..."Mia muttered as she stood there,waiting in the silence of the forest for a bigger pray.

Quill looked around and saw it was getting dark. "Well, i guess i'd better head back to the cave, with my luck during the night, things will be after me faster than you can say government lackey." Quill said to himself as he broke off a dead branch and lit it with a match he had. Quill then started walking towards the cave he now called home, which was unknowingly by the hill that Mia was on, thus, unknowingly had a light that she would see. Quill was also dragging the mutated rhino he killed along with him, which wasn't easy for him. "Man, why could these thing have gotten smaller instead of larger?" Quill asked himself as he finally got to his cave.

Koyomi walked around the wasteland, hoping to find some sort of indication of life. "I haven't seen anyone in years... am I the only I the only one left?" Koyomi stopped walking and looked around, there wasn't anything to see besides the barren earth for miles on end with a torn apart city in the distance. "A city... there must be something there." Koyomi then began walking towards the city before sighing. "It's probably going to be a couple of hours before I even reach that city." Koyomi rose one of his arms as sparks of electricity began to flick off the ends of his fingers, but before anything happened, Koyomi had ran out of breath and put his hands on his knees. "This sucks, my powers are still beginner level, I probably don't have enough energy to power a light bulb." Koyomi gritted his teeth and began walking again. "Never mind... it's not like anyone is actually waiting for me."

Jake wandered around the wasteland. When he had been agent, he never seemed to have free time and he always had multiple tasks to do. Now, he had nothing. He just had to wait until hunters he made would make more hunters by killing more people, or go by himself to absorb more humans on himself to evolve his body to even more powerful. "This sucks, I know where the underground basement of goverment is and I can't even go there because with this amount of power I would just be killed" Jake thought as he gritted his tooth. Then Jake noticed something moving around in hill nearby, it wasn't animal, that much Jake could tell. "Could it be deformed like me?" Jake thought for second and adjusted his evolved flesh to his legs and jumped straight to hill. Jake looked down to figure with tall arms and legs and said: "Poor soul, it seems that you have ended up like me"

(Just to give little bit information of Jake's powers: He can absorb people who he has killed and he storages the flesh and uses it to his body parts to make them stronger, he usually has all of the flesh on his hands (see the appereance) Also this is what hunters look like:

Rie only had nightmares, making her awaken. She stood up, hitting her head on the metal roof she made. "Ouch..." she complained, rubbing her head. 'That always happens to me...' she thought with a slight smile. Rie never smiles, but you have to admit it was at least one funny thing left. "Better get moving. I've slept long enough..." she told herself, kicking her building as it fell down. She gathered her few things and brought her fathers cloak closer. "I wish I had something to remember my friends by at least. I can't even remember what my little sister looked like..." she mumbled, walking away from the broken building. Rie walked in the tattered road again, and forced herself to look up from the ground. A person out here? What where they doing? Nobody is out here. It's an absolute tragedy. But she was at least happy to see someone. "I would have never thought to see another person our here. All it has been is mutant animals and mutan people..." Rie said to the boy, Koyomi.

Mia looked up as she heard a voice from above. She saw a man,deformed. He landed on the hill. Mia stared,a bit anxious. She haden't had intelligent contact in weeks. Just deformed animals. Mia took a step back and tilted her head a bit,her hair covering her blue eyes. "...yes...I guess so..."Mia says as she stared at him. She moved her arms a bit. They were like two tree stumps covered with spikes made out of rusty metal and hard skin. Mia stared as her eyes were hidden from sight. "...if you're looking for food. I call dibs on deer. I haven't seen any in weeks. But I'm very sure one is to pop up somewhere at sometime."Mia says as she looked to the side. She looked back at the man. She moved her hair a bit,trying to make herself seem terrifying incase he was planning on attacking her. Seeing that he had a giant blade for an arm. "...my name is Mia..what is your name?"Mia asks as she pointed her hair towards him.

Jake didn't look directly at Mia's eyes, because he felt just bad when noticing how badly some people had deformed. He was monster and very powerful one alright, but he still maintained his human form surprisingly well.

"The name is Jake... Don't know if monster like me has right to have a name" Jake said and sat down, somehow knowing that he would probably be safe. "It's surprise to see someone like me though, I haven't met too much "special infected" like us. Guess I'm not alone" Jake said and laughed bitterly. "Just asking how did you end up like this? I don't have memories about my deformation and when I woke up I had changed.." Jake said hiding the fact that he had killed the soldiers, scientist and even his own family without even knowing it.

Mia blinked a few times. "Jake..."Mia says. She looked up and stared at the sky for a bit. "I waited for weeks for death to get me. It never arrived,so I equipped myself with some knives and looked for food. It was a slow process. Soon I could control my hair without even notecing. It was something good,an advantage I guessed. Then..."Mia says. She looked down at her arms. "One morning I woke up and saw that the knives had ebenndened into my arms. I tried to get them out but it pained so much whenever I tried. Soon it progressed with whatever I happened to touch. Pieces of scrap,wood. Within weeks I didn't even had hands anymore."Mia says as she lowered her hands. "So I eat with my hair. I can't even cook the food anymore. It never tastes any less bitter."Mia says as she looked up.
