Ok, one of my friends wants to buy an Xbox 360. I told him to buy a Ps3 because a bunch of KH stuff is coming out on it and I kinda want to use it for KH3. (selfish, I know) So do you guys who own the respective consoles like one over the other, and how can I convince him to buy a ps3?

The 360 will be irrelevant come next year. At least Sony has said they plan to support the ps3 for at least another 3 years.

 

But I am not going to start a silly argument over which is better, it really is personal preference. Though in my opinion, the ps3 is better.

I like the PS3, personality. it has a much wider library of games than xbox 360 and it has a lot more to offer. And it's a lot cheaper to own than an Xbox 360, where you have tp pay said money just for internet ever month. >_>

Sony has a remarkably weak security, but makes up for it with free online gaming. If you're going to get a PS3, do not spend money on PSN cards or input your credit card number unless you trust Sony. I'd rather enter competitions for free PSN card codes, even though you're not guaranteed. I enjoy Sony because it's the gaming company I grew up loving. The exclusives are awesome, Uncharted and Ratchet and Clank. If you want to use the features you already pay for for free, Sony is your man.

 

360

Microsoft's security is exceptionally powerful, but you need to pay sixty dollars a year for features you already pay for, which on the other hand, get with Sony for free. Such as Netflix, Hulu, Online Gaming, etc, etc. 360's exclusives are nothing to be too proud of, but hey, Gears of War. If you're for buying digital games, Microsoft is your man.

Let him just FAKING BUY THE XBOX 360, IT HAS MORE GAMES AND GAMESTOP HAS A DEAL WHERE THE NEW XBOX 360 IS REALLYLLLY CHEAP. you may need to pay for xbox live ONCE a year but it's (SORTA) worth it.

The console war which took place years ago was won by Sony.

 

This is because Blu-ray defeated HD DVD. Blu-ray's are far superior to HD DVDs so it's no surprise.

 

Also who the f**k would want a white console?

 

In this day and age everyone wants their TV and devices connected to it to be black. This is because in the dark you won't be able to see them leaving your eyes entirely to the image on the screen.

That is funny. My neighbor is a pc gamer and he built his pc from the ground up but I'm a PS3 gamer. I really wouldn't mind becoming a pc gamer except for one thing: I would need to shell out lots of money to get a gamer pc.

Only wannabe PC Master race buy Alienware. They are just ordinary Dells that want to feel special.

 

A one thousand dollar Cyberpower PC has three times the power of the most expensive Alienware and at a fraction of the cost. But an Alienware is still better than any of the inferior consoles.

 

And even though a gaming PC is more expensive than a console, it's a one time investment. You should be set for the next 5 to 10 years. And if you have a job, upgrading isn't a hassle.

but i just bought my xbox for halo and gears with a little cod and minecraft in there. and i don't mind paying $50 (the only reason someone up there said $60 is cuz they probably get a 1 year gift card at gamestop) but yea that's me.
