Do PS2 Classics (On PS3) fix the problems encountered when upscaling on PS2?

Do the PS2 Classics on the PS3 fix the issues encountered when upscaling a PS2?

Like the frame issues and quality issues encountered when playing a PS2 on a HDTV?

Basically my TV upscales the PS2 and when playing Sonic Heroes I get black right around the entire frame. When for all my other games it just upscales it normally.

I've assumed it's Sonic Heroes after some tests, so I'm wondering if the PS2 Classics version has this issue as well.

Did my question get side-tracked? Lol.

I play Sonic Heros (PS2) on a HDTV and haven't had a problem o.o Though my HDTV in my room is only 23 inch.

My TV is a lot bigger.

I'm fairly certain the PS2 classics are just PS2 games emulated in standard definition. You won't see any graphical glitches like that, I don't think... but odds are it won't upscale at all...

Issue has been fixed.

I was playing the game in 60Hz.

I've changed the game to 50Hz which has fixed the frame issues.
