So first off let me just say i love the realation bewtween sora and ventus. I know that their hearts have merged and sora gainined dual weilding as a side effect. But is it possibile that sora could use alot of vens abilittys. Now i know for gameplay reasons no being two different characters. But in DDD sora could use salvation and strike raid and quic blits. So could sora weild backwards with his speed and wind masterey. Such as maybe he could use fever pitch wingblade and vens shotlocks. Also when ven awakens will ven maybe have picked up some of soras traits. Beacuse i belive sora will still keep his dual weilding due to their connection and salvation(one of vens commands) as vens heart rubbed off on soras. So tell me what you think

 

I think vens heart will have forever stained sora hearts is a good way to put it.

Sora and Roxas already use a bunch of Ven's abilities

and it didn't start with DDD

Roxas could use Salvation in KH2, and Sora has been using strike raid since the start

i doubt we'll see Sora completely change his style to a reverse grip for no reason though. He has his own style

One more thing, it's entirely possible that VEN was copying Sora to begin with, considering it was HIM using Sora's heart in teh first place

That said, who knows how much of Sora's abilities are influenced by Ven. It's still unclear if Sora got dual wielding from Roxas or Ven. And it could be Ven has no influence at all most of the time because his heart's asleep. It could just be in critical moments like with Roxas and the end of DDD he can have an influence. But hatok makes a good point that their connection started so early that we have no idea which traits began with who. (It makes their character relationship even that much more complicated and delicious I thinks x3)

Oh i never really though of roxas in kh2 but hats cool. And yeah ill doubt sora would reverse grip anyway. I just though he might b able to. And yeah before his heart was shattered at first ven was sort of really low self esteem and shy and kept to himself. So maybe the reason why ven is like he is beacuse sora rubbed off on ven. Maybe sora weilds backwards and ven weilds like sora and they flipeed flopped.

 

Yeah maybe beacuse of which in the point in time in which the connection is formed sora is young so his heart is still growing and developing and vens heart is mostly absent due to the darkness being torn from it. Its really hard to keep track of.

The only ability Sora gained from merging from Ven was dual wielding and that's only because Ven a Keyblade to loan. I wouldn't be surprised either if Sora kept the dual wielding ability despite their eventual separation though Sora's heart overall seems more influential than Ven's.

 

A lot of the abilities and attacks Sora and Ven share also just seem to be general techniques.
