November 21, 201212 yr Yes You must get a D grade in order to get an A as it is the highest part of the tier, being a prerequisite to reach the higher end of the tier. as each percent point needed to reach an A rank is granted in sequence. So in order to get an A, you must first get all prior grades, including D (Though not I, usually)

Just remember: To get the "A" you need to get the "D" first.
