I've never actually asked this before, and I'm really curious. A few years ago Disney had yet another game which I loved as much as Kingdom Hearts. It's name was, "Virtual Magic Kingdom." (VMK for short) --

 

It was one of those games where you run around with little avatars, dress them up, chat, and play mini games and decorate your rooms. Now, I actually disliked the thought of a game like that when my friend first introduced me to it, but I slowly grew to love it. I never liked any other avatar chat-room games like VMK. It was the only one I ever played on and stayed on for a long time.

 

Then one day Disney shut down the game for who knows what reason, I believe it was mainly that it was a free game, and the just wanted to leave their pay-to-play games open. = So VMK is almost wiped from existence on the internet except for a few fans, videos, and pictures of the past.

 

So down to the point. Did anyone know or play the game? What was your username? Favorite minigame? Any fun memories?

 

If you didn't play, you missed out on a wonderful Disney game. >;

I loved, loved, loved to play the Pirates of the Caribbean game! I also adored... well, every single other game. The ghost hunting, checkers, fireworks... It was all too much fun!

 

Me and my friends BlossomFlower, Hikoik, CyanTara, etc. had our own little circle and we would sometimes spend hours playing together on there. We didn't mind being little rebels and Dictionary Dance and break any of the silly little rules... as long as we never got caught. I also loved dreams month when I got those really pretty ears, and my favorite outfit was that Black Ref Hat, Long Brown Hair, A Blue Camera Shirt, Cowboy Pants, and Black Flips. --- Ohh the memories. ~ <3

I loved VMK, before evil Disney shut it down just because it was free...they could have made it a pay-to-play but no they didn't.. O.o

 

Anyways, I was on at the very beginning of VMK when they were testing it and stuff..totally lame at first.But became awesome. <3 I was Aricool, I went by Cool or Kaya(don't ask me how I got Kaya..I don't even know). Me and my best friends on VMK would got play Pirates and Do you remember "Cute or Boot"!? That was soo fun. Or when they made pretend schools in there and "on" was one, "to" was two..and wasn't three like tree or something like that?

I totally missed VMK when it close and was soo sad. I wasn't going to get on any other game on the internet like VMK I said..lol and then I tried VFK(Virtual Family Kingdom) which is not as good..it's kind of boring actually, and then I tried Free realms and I love it..but not as much as VMK. I had 5 rooms, and tons of clothes! Oh how I miss all my friends on VMK..Good old times..<3

VMK was awesome. -- and Yeah. Hannah Montanna and all of that wasn't the best idea they had in my opinion but eh. I mean the little kids at my family's daycare see them more as Disney icons now a days than mickey.... >;

I was addicted to VMK, I adored it to death. I had two main accounts, Bluedizboy and Dizkid, nicknamed Blue and Dis(or Dizzy) respectively... I also got to go to WDW and make a character there, Bluedizgirl, although I didn't use it much. I played Blue and Diz like two different people dating in real life(my own little world, hah) and I remember I loved to go down to the Music Party on Main Street. I remember having them dance together and then having girls coming up to Blue... seeing me RIGHT in front of him... asking him to dance. Oh, the irony. I remember on the trip where I made Bluedizgirl we got to go on this little VMK park tour(in real life). My mom, who was also addicted, wanted gold ears terribly. I'll never forget, in the line for Big Thunder Mountain I asked the guide if he could give my mom a card(with the code on it) for some gold ears. He obliged, and my mom loved them. After that I managed to get ahold on a pair for myself, and they stood forever atop Blue's head. I hardly ever changed them. XDDD

How on earth did I never hear of VMK if what people say about it being good is true? I feel like I missed out on something big
