Setting:

This takes place in a world that is a mix of medieval and modern times, where sword clashes with gun and magic faces lasers. Nothing is impossible and everything is probable. Keep in mind this RP is very similar to Final Fantasy that includes technology, magic, and items.

 

Story:

In the midst of a civil war and new threat steps forward. A third force enters the battle with and army of undead warriors. A group of brave warriors rise up and conquer this force of walking dead and end the civil war but learn a truth behind it all when it is only a little too late.

 

Layout:

Start the story where ever you wish but I want everyone to eventually congregate together (Depending if you’re good or bad.). Some of us will be on the west side of the country’s civil war (Arcadians) and some will be on the east side (Aspirians). Then the army of the undead is led by 11 spirit guardians, said to be protecting bits and pieces of a spirit that belonged to an extremely powerful paladin from many centuries ago. After the guardians are killed off, the final foe will be remade. Because we defeated the guardians he was reborn and is as evil as ever. Of course we take him out.

Magic Casting System:

In this role play characters don’t just simply cast magic they have to say aloud what they are casting.

e.g.: Matt said “Thundaga!” and a jolt of lightning shot from the sky.

The reason for this is to further explain the spell ‘Mute’. Anyone who has played Final Fantasy knows what mute does. It causes a status effect so the effected character can’t use magic. So when someone is muted they can’t say the spell in order to cast it. Make sense?

 

Rules:

• Be creative.
• Be descriptive.
• Have fun.
• Don’t let the RP die.
• Do not kill off others characters without permission.
• Do not control others characters without permission.

Start where you wish but eventually every good guy need to gradually group together. This RP will follow the layout of Final Fantasy. All 11 Gaurdians will eventually die of course. And magic starts at low level and people work your way up. Have fun and be creative.

 

[Drake & Ryu]

Drake and Ryu continue walking the path ahead of them. Both seemed a little exauhsted.

"Seems like he got away! Again!" Drake exclaimed. Drake and Ryu were chasing the theif who stole Drake's mother's amulet for the second time. "I can't beleive I lost him twice!"

"It's okay." Ryu smiled. "We'll get it back, Drake." Drake nodded and they continued.

 

[Zephyr]

Off in the shadows near by Drake and Ryu. "Hee Hee Hee......Seems like such a nice boy...."

(Maria, Elk Village)

 

Maria walked into her old house. "Oh my god! Honey! You're alive!" Her mother said. "You've been gone for so long, I can't remember how old you were when you left!" "Er.....thanks, mom." Maria stammered as she went to her room and flopped onto the bed. She wished to fall asleep, but something stopped her. She rolled over onto her back. "Who were those two?" she asked herself, remembering Riezer and Romelia. "Is it possible......no.......it can't be. But.....it must. Those.....these guardians are real? If they are......what are they here for? What is their goal? There must be more than two.....I better check it out tomorrow!"

Zeref arrive at Pinecone to buy some food supplies for his journey."Okay,now that i have buy the supplies,i'll just have to move on..."Zeref said as he begin to leave the village.After a long walk,he also arrive at Elm Town."Hmm.....i wonder if they sell some goods...."Zeref said as he look around the town...

"If the girl were to kill Nash, I would kill her without a second thought. But if you were to kill Nash, I would somehow get over it, because you are you. Now enough about that. What are we going to do now?" Riezer asked Romelia.

Patrox shook his  head a little. "It's always me getting into a fight alongside a bunch of newbie's." Patrox said under his breath as he drew his sword. "Just do me a favor and don't get us killed, i want to save that for the end of the war." said Patrox, laughing a little at the last part. "Now, if i were a group of pompous, ignorant, numbskull thugs, when would i jump out?" asked Patrox.

Iuvenis sighed with relief as he came upon the outskirts of Elm Town. The forest around him was finally giving way to the town itself- and Iuvenis was more or less glad for it. Even then, he put the helmet on, hiding his ears from the world.

Iuevnis pulled out the leaflet that explained his mission, checking it over. He looked to his left, seeing a man older than he was, walk off (Brendan). Iuvenis, rubbing his forehead, checked the paper one last time, before confronting the man.

"E-excuse me...do you happen to know if this is Elm Town? I'm worried I may have become lost..."

(NEXT DAY)

 

Maria hung a note that said, 'Dear Mom. Sorry for leaving again, but this trip may be as important as saving the world. Luv ya.'

 

Walking out, a boy and his sister were spinning around for no reason. Maria thought they were crazy.

 

 

"I say we go to Elk Village. I don't know why, but I'm just itching to do something there............" Romelia suggested. "Maybe that's the girl's town!"

After managing to steal some food, Yumiko headed back to her house with just a small gash on her cheek from a fight she got in, not a big deal. She entered her house and lit a candle to light her table and ate the bread she stole in silence. She sighed as she got up, blowing out the candle and getting dressed for bed, she was silent as she got ready for bed, then climbing in bed, looking out the window as Storm, the cat, climbed up on her stomach and settled himself. Soon, Yumiko fell into a silent sleep.

Brendan was walking on the road when he encounters someone. He asked about the direction of Elm Town. "Well this is unspected but..." Ok just follow this path and you will be thyere in less than half hour. I said beginning to walk again.... Just be careful. Many people were attacked by Imperial soldiers recently.

Iuvenis nodded his thanks, quickly heading back down the path. "That was an awkward conversation..." He murmured, hating that he still had half-an-hour to go before he could reach Elm Town.

Got to stop some bandit terrorizing the town...ergh...why did they pick me to do this job?! Iuvenis thought, hating the mere idea of having to harm someone. He unsheahted his spear- a long weapon made of blessed steel, and other compounds. It was attuned for magic, an art Iuvenis did well in.

Drake laughed a bit. "Newbies? We'll see..." Drake charged at the undead warriors and started swinging. He cut one in half then when he pulled back to swing again he hit one that was behind him then swung at the next one with the flat side of his blade knocking the creatures head off and it went flying at another enemy. "This seems easy enough!"

(Romelia, Elk Village)

 

"This must be the place..." Romelia said. "What are you doing here?" Maria asked her. "Excuse me!" Romelia replied. "But this is my place, now!" "It is NOT!" Maria yelled, bringing out her poniard. "There's no point to try and beat me, as I'm too powerful." Romelia glared at Maria as she boasted. "Shut up! I'll protect my own town, if there's no no one else to help me!" "Okay...suit yourself." Romelia yawned. "Black whirlwind!" she shouted. The two-foot twister picked Maria up and launched her into a ditch of water. "Ready to give in yet?" Romelia asked. "NO!" "Ice!" Romelia exclaimed. Nothing happened. "Oh. Right. I don't have that, yet. Firaga!" A blast of fire was launched at Maria, and she successfully dodged. "Leave my town alone!" Maria said again. "You know...as much as this is fun, It's a little pointless," confessed Romelia. Maria crawed out of the ditch and blocked her house. "Go in as many and whatever houses you wish, but not mine," she said. Romelia walked up and pushed Maria out of the way. "Dammit," Maria breathed as she jumped up.

(Gah,I have no idea what's going on anymore.)

Patrox had already killed a few undead soldiers when he heard what Drake said. "Never say that man, it'll always get harder, no matter what you try." said Patrox as he stabbed an enemy coming up behind him.

 

(Malvar)

 

Meanwhile, leading the Arcadian assault on the Fort of Expatriates, Malvar was fighting and killing Aspirian troops while driving them back into the fort. "I'll take down every last one of ya if it means ending this fight faster, i'm one of the best fighters in Arcadia, and we will not be easily forced to retreat." said Malvar.

Drake smirked, "Eh! I'm not worried." Right after that a big undead warrior knocked down some trees and made a path and arrived where the Drake, Ryu and Patrox were. This warrior was around twice there size, in height and weights. He was stocky and well build.

"Oh!!! No!!!" Ryu exclaimed. Hearing Ryu, Drake turned and looked at the foe that had arrived. "He's big!"

(Gah, I have no idea what's going on anymore.)

Maria opened the door and went to her room. Romelia was just in her bed. "What took you so long?" she asked. Maria was ticked at this point. Tiny black daggers began flying out of her and attacking Romelia. "Hey. If you can't do anything, give up," Romelia replied. "Get out of my house!" Maria screamed. "You do not wish to be friends?" Romelia said with her eyes closed. "Of course not," Maria fought. "Fine," Romelia said, as she jumped out the window. "That was unexpected." Maria looked for Romelia, but she was not in sight. "Glad that's over with." Maria's sides ached when Romelia pushed her.

"Oh well, i've dealt with bigger undead soldiers than that.....come and get me you overgrown corpse." said Patrox as he ran at the enemy, running up it's arm when it struck the ground. Patrox then lept on it's back as it tried to shake him off. Patrox was holding on, but he didn't look freaked, he seemed to be laughing. "Yahoo, this is the most fun i've had in a fight since this civil war first started, ha ha." laughed Patrox.

Lune looked to her left and spotted someone. He was Arcadian, and taking down quite a few troops. 'He ain't too shabby at what he does.' she thought to herself. A quick teleport later, and she was in front of the man (Malvar). Her sword was out, and had blocked his most recent swing. She called over her shoulder to the Aspirians. "Don't worry about me, you guys go and take care of some others. As they ran off to engage some different enemy forces, Lune stepped back. She put her hood down, and let her face be seen. It was a privilege not many people got. Most of those people were now dead. "My name is Lune. I'm an Aspirian assassin, saboteur, and all around badass. If you don't mind, I'm going to kill you now." Lune said, grinning.

(Alix, Elk Village)

 

 

Alix saw Romelia run from Maria's house. He charged up to her and hit her. "What do you want?" she asked him. "I want to kill you!" he shouted, and everyone in the area ran into ditches and houses. "What's your problem?" Romelia asked again. "You know what it is! You killed my family!" Alix yelled. "I did? Oh! Yeah! I did. I remember now. But it doesn't look like I killed your family off quite yet," Romelia said with a dark smile. "You're the one who started this feud!" Alix screamed. Romelia sighed calmly. "Sometimes the weaker have to be killed first, so they don't get in the way," she replied. "Well? Come and fight me!" Alix exclaimed. "Black whirlwind!" Romelia chanted. The same black wind carried Alix and dropped him into a dirt pile, where a child and her father were hiding. Alix wanted to swear, but he noticed the child. He jumped off the pile and confronted Romelia yet again. "Sure you won't rest to check all your broken bones?" he was asked. "No. Not yet. Not until you die!" "Please. This is just getting ridiculous," Romelia confessed. "Bye-bye!" she called to Alix as he passed out from the drop.

"Heh, clearly you don't know who you're dealing with, i've killed more assassin's and mage's from you're land than i care to count." said Malvar as he showed off some of his sword skills. "And in all honesty, none of them were really worth my skill, ya see, it's hard for me to find opponent's worth killing, i think the last one worthy of my skills, i killed two years ago, not much of a challenge though, to be sure." said Malvar as he took a fighting stance. "Let's see if you've got what it takes."

Lune grinned. He underestimated her. That was fine. She teleported behind him, equipped her dagger and went for a stab in the neck. She then spun with her spear that had appeared in her hand. Then, with her claws she kicked at his legs and tried to slice his back at the same time. "Not much of a challenge you say!" Lune called.

Malvar blocked most og the attacks, but his arm was cut with the spear.  "Hmm, not many people have been able to land a hit on me, so i must congratulate that accomplishment.....however..." said Malvar as he created a half circle in front of him on the ground with the tip of his sword. "It won't be as easy to land a second." said Malvar as he started swinging his sword at Lune. "I'm not so certain, but perhaps you've heard of me....the name's Malvar." said Malvar as he continued swinging his sword at Lune.

(Maria)

 

 

"Are you okay?" Maria asked Alix. "Huh..." he moaned. "Are you an Arcadian?" "Yes," said Maria. "Then prepare to die!" Alix shouted. "What?" Maria was confused. She had just saved him and now he was about to kill her! "I saved you, idiot!" she exclaimed. "Did you run into Romelia?" she asked. "Yes. She killed my entire family, save for me," Alix sighed. "How horrible! So she's a guardian?" "That's right." "Wow." "Well, I have to leave you for now. If my side found you and me together not fighting they'd kill me," Alix said.

Riezer appeared from behind Alix. "No, that would be me who did that." Riezer said as he held his razor sword to Alix's neck. He made the blade go in enough to have Alix's neck be able to get a good enough cut. He then looked at Maria. "If either of you two move one inch, I will bomb the entire town. Do you got me?" Riezer asked in a hateful tone. He was sorta mad at Maria for a reason even she wouldn't get.

Yumiko woke up early, quickly heading out of the house with her daggers and her cloak. "Something is wrong." she stated, starting to run towards Elk Village. She caused a small fight trying to steal some breakfast. She quickly ran for the rooftops, stopping to see a crowd fighting. She stared down at the crowd, not interfereing.

Maria and Alix froze in shock. "Leave us alone, you big bully!" Maria shouted at Riezer. She pulled her poniard out, ready to battle. "We weren't doing anything, other than protecting ourselves!"Before exiting Elk Village, Romelia noticed Riezer, Maria  and Alix. Half bored, she hurried over. "If it isn't the two weak-Os!" she mocked. "I told you to stop saying that!" Alix yelled. "I don't care who killed my family, but I know it was a guardian for sure!" "Shut it, Mister Know-it-all!" Romelia replied. Walking up to Maria, she grabbed her by the throat. "On the other hand, where is your mother?" Romelia threatened. "I...don't...know...In...My house...?" Maria gasped in small breaths. Romelia nodded and threw Maria to the ground. "I said leave us alone!" Alix screamed. "Do we have to do this the easy way...?" Romelia asked, bringing her staff out with a grin on her face. "Or the hard way?"
