Data Progressing: Newcomer 

 

Drip goes each drop as I lean my head against the window of this black built in Security Limo. "Now...your room shall be EB 13." 

"k." I mutter as my Officer gives more details. 

"You'll be apart of Unit 2 with Unit Leader Edgerial." 

"K." To be honest I'm really not paying attention. I just stare at all the Cars that stream by. Black buildings with so many neon colors. 

"Lulu are you even hearing my words?" 

That's when something catches my attention. It's one of those durpy looking Baby Bots! "Look! It's a-" 

A small slap is hit my arm. My eyes are forced to meet with my Officer's, "Lulu you need to listen. This is highly serious. You are lucky enough to be out of jail and entering the Police Force. You very much know that if you screw up at least once your whole life can end with a officer firing at you." 

....I look from him and gaze my eyes to the leather black seat, folding my hands onto my lap, "Yes..." 

He looks at me for a second then continues, " "You will need to carry your SIBYL Id card with you once entering." 

SIBYL....the place I am heading. The place that took me....The place where Society has changed. 

"Oi! Where here!" The Limo Driver yells to us. 

"Park out front." My Officer says. 

We take about two more turns when we slow down. Someone opens the door where poring rain flutters in. My Officer gets out and stands to the side, "Lulu....welcome to SIBYL. Your new home." 

I look up to see a very rather large building glowing with a large blue and black sign the words SIBYL. "I'm here..."

"Well,you can take the thumb drive.....i have the information on my memory..."Xei said as he leaves but he was surrounded by guards."Hate to do this.....but i hope you guys will be in Heaven..."Xei said as in the blink of an eye,he slash the guard's body to pieces with his sword and begin to leave the building."I gotta admit,the last time i worked here,it's nothing like this.....things have been changed,huh...."Xei said as he run through the hallways while the guards were chasing him...

Edge leaned back in his chair, clicking his pen in some sort of anxiety. He wasn't impatient, just bored with the lack of assignments his Unit had been given these past few days. He looked up to the intercom, when his name was called to one of the PA rooms.

"What now?" He muttered, sitting up straight. Edge was tall for his age- and was an imposing figure. His long hair, sharp, red eyes, glasses, andintelligent figure, he appeared to be one you did not mess with.

Fixating his glasses, Edge walked out of his small office, making his way to the PA room.

"Hm?" I heard a voice and a sound of a sword. I listened to other people's conversations, "Did you hear two members of SIBYL were killed."

"By what"

"They say it was a sword."

"My mind flashed, 'The killer is still here...' But what can I do about it? I'm blind..... What could I do... I thought long and hard. And remembered there was a small blade attached to my belt just in case... I doubted I would have any chance but I was already on the move... I listened to the sound of guards yelling, "Stop right there!" I soon found myself behind the guards knowing the target was fairly close. I found his location and knew what direction he was going to go I took a shortcut I found from the sound of the wind. And took out my small blade I stopped in front of the killer or what I thought was the killer. I noticed he was since the sound of wind made me realize he was carrying a sword... 'What have I gotten myself into...' I thought to myself...

 

(Tell me if I did something wrong... I'm sensing that I did mess up)

Lisa walked through the SIBYL building. The lady in the lobby had been a bit annoying. In  the end, she ended up suffocating her enough to remain unconscious. Lisa came across Ace, and stopped next to him. "Sorry I was late. I hate secretaries." She looked to her left and saw... Xei. "The hell is he doing here?" she muttered. There were guards too. "We should probably get going before they get suspicious of us too. If you've hacked in already, then the experimental lab should be down this way." she said, pointing down a hallway to their left. Lisa began to run down the hallway, making a come motion with her hands toward Ace.

Xei approached to the man (Code) and talked to him."Look,i know that you here to capture me......but i think it's not the best idea..."Xei said as suddenly the Guards arrived and surrounded."Man,this will never quits...."Xei said as he drawing sword."Get him!"One of the Officers said as he charges towards him.But then,Xei was easily manage to kill the officers quickly and began running the hallway,leaving the man (Code) behind...

Well we got so bored waiting that we had played cards together. "Got ya old man." I grin. 

He simply chuckles, "Let it be. Let it be." 

"BOOM" 

Our eyes both widen as a loud sound echos in the room. "What was that?" I ask getting up. 

"Sit down." My Officer commands and gets up to peek through the glass. 

"What is it?!" 

"Shit...a ambush." 

"Let me go he-" 

"SIT DOWN AND STAY HERE." 

I frown cross my arms and plop on the chair, "Uggg FINE!" 

My Officer grabs his high bullet range gun and opens the door, "Now stay here till I return." 

"But-" 

"Lulu, please stay here for your safety." 

",,,,Yes Sir," 

My Officer leaves and I can't help but watch through the small glass window, "Please be ok...."

I heard the footsteps of the man (Xei) running away. 'I know I'm blind but...' I thought and kept running after the man (Xei). I remembered again I had a couple extra throwing knifes. I listened to the wind and threw one of the knifes just slightly cutting his face.

 

(Short post sorry...)

Xei was hit by that man's knife and has a bleeding on his cheek."Sheesh......looks like he didn't follow my advice.....looks like i have no choice.....but to do this..."Xei said as he begin taking out the hand grenade and he begin to take the pin."Even though they are loyal officers.......yet my plan have made them fall in to my doom...."Xei said as he throw the grenade at them...

"The hell?" Edge muttered, feeling the explosion. He patted his pocket, realizing his Dominator was still in his office. Other Officers ran by him, as Edge stood, deciding.

...Either I waste time by retrieving my gun..or... Edge thought. He turned to the nearest Officer.

"Give me your gun." Edge commanded.

"Uh...excuse me..?" The younger officer replied. Edge pulled out an ID and the Officer stood straighter.

"O-oh, s-sorry sir!" The Officer stammered, handing Edge the gun. "I'll get it back to you later." Edge said, walking off. As the Observant, he was reknowned for making quick decisions. Now armed, Edge quickly ran to the PA room.

I heard a click and quickly thought if it was an explosive. I ran faster and jumped. It was an explosive and I was slammed into the wall. Luckily it only hurt my left arm and leg, I got up and listened again. Hearing the man's (Xei's) breathing I took out more throwing knifes. Still following the man (Xei) I knew there were more intruders since I heard and conversation about a thumb drive. I hoped someone was on the move to catching the other two. It sounded like a woman and another man...

"That man.......is something else...."Xei said as he swiftly throwing the knife that he get from that man that he tries to throw at him.When Xei throw the knife at him but missed yet hit on the wall,there was a smoke bomb that has been tied to the knife and start to explode."Good......now is my time to escape..."Xei said as he disappear at the hallway...

"Well I got it already. I think running the other way would be better." The next instant black metallic gloves covered his hands with sharp point finger tips he ripped one guards throt before letting them drop to the ground. "Kiddies must be here to. With how very detrimed they are to beat the crap out of us. Unit 2 won't be a pleasant site you know all out to get us. Must be pretty amazing apparently. I'll love it when I can rip there throats out." Grinning under the helmet he looked at the red that coated his fingers protected by the metallic gloves so well made by him.

Kuro heard something was going on so she quickly ran to her small window and saw what was going on.

"Ohh...an ambush! Yay! This is exciting!" She yelled.

Kiku quickly opened the door and grabbed Kuro back the arm, dragging her out of the room.

"Kiku....there was an explosion..." Kuro said quietly as the two ran through the halls.

"Yes, that is why I'm talking you somewhere safe. We are going to go find anyone we can, okay? I'm bringing you guys to the basement." Kiku commanded as they opened many doors, finding just empty rooms, storage rooms, and really nothing of use.

"There is a basement!?!" Kuro asked with a smile.

"Yes." Kiku replied simply, leading them into silence again.

"Okay Kuro. I'm giving you something you can't lose, okay?" Kiku said, opening a door with a whole bunch of boxes. I sat down on one of the boxes that was full of files and stuff as Kiku searched.

"Ah ha! Here ya go. Good luck. I have a pistol already so you get this. Is was hand crafted by someone who must have stayed here once..." Kiku said, handing Kuro a scythe.

"I get to keep this?" Kuro asked.

"Yup, you do. Now hurry." Kiku said, grabbing Kuro's arm and dashing out of the room, into the hall.

The two ran, soon arriving at a door who had a girl In it...Lulu.

"Come on Kiku. I hear people screaming, they must be close." Kuro stated.

"I told you I'm getting anyone I can find and am bringing them to the basement with you." Kiku said, finding a key and unlocking the door.

"Come on, there has been an ambush and I'm not letting you all die here. Those damned officers can kill me of they want." Kiku said, pulling Kuro into the room with her.

"It says that you are Lulu? This is Kuro. She is in the protective unit. I'll be taking you guys to the basement before this entire place explodes. Do you have a weapon for yourself? We don't have much time." Kiku asked as Kuro brought her scythe close, staring at Lulu.

A scythe... I can't go. A prisoner who disobeys a Officer's command will cost my life. "Sorry but I am perimited to stay and I shall not disobey.” Even if it's stupid.... I refuse.

Edge arrived on the same floor as the PA room, threatningly holding the Dominator. He knew he couldn't use it- each gun was bound to the original owner of the weapon (Which had confused the Officer who relinquished it to Edge). However, Edge has a crazy idea, and it would only work under one circumstance. It was dangerous, ludicrous, and deadly, but that's the situation Edge dealt in.

Reaching the room he was told to head to, he noticed someone was already inside. Pushing open the door, pushing his glasses further up his nose.

"Main Officer Luke Edgerial, leader of Unit 2." Edge said, looking around.

Xei sneak in to someone's office for hacking the system at the computer."Okay.....there,there,and......there,that should do it..."Xei said as he use the computer to unlock the security system."Okay,now i can go out safe and sound...."Xei said as he leave the office."Hm?oh don't wanna forget this......the SECOND thumb drive that i manage to save besides the first..."Xei said as he picked up the thumb drive that he dropped and begin to leave....

"When you die it's not my fault. Come on Kuro." Kiku snapped, grabbing Kuro's arm again and pulling her out of the room.

The two walked down some hallways, arriving at a door that had a piece of tape covering the sign telling what it was.

"What's this, Kiku?" Kuro asked.

"The stairs leading to the basement. I'm walking down their with you and then I'll leave you. I'd stay down there for a while until everything gets quiet, then come back up." Kiku said seriously, opening the door and flipping on a light switch as the stairs became visible and the white lights lead the way.

"I wouldn't be surprised if you find some dead bodies in here. Ya smell that? It's blood." Kiku said as the two started walking down the stairs.

"Blood." she repeated.

"Stay down here...no...stay beside the door. If you see anyone who looks like they need help, help them." Kiku said, sitting Kuro down on the ground.

"Don't trust anyone, okay?" Kiku said, placing her bag beside Kuro.

"Keep that, it has what you need if you get in a life or death situation. Later." Kiku said, walking up the stairs and closing the door.

It was quiet now, nothing but the hum of the lights and footsteps of the others above her.

I heard the smoke bomb explode and I couldn't here where the man (Xei) went because of the smoke... I covered my mouth and nose with my sleeve then listened again... I had failed in catching him and started running back. I smelled smoke all over me as I ran out of the area. I got into an elevator and went back into the lobby somehow. I was filed with too much smoke I coughed and coughed. When I reached the lobby I was already sitting on the floor of the elevator. Unconscious....

Xei manage to leave the building and began to run through the Alley."Man,if the two didn't show up,this would it been easier..."Xei said as he see the thumb drive."Okay,now that i have the information,might as well carry on to the next plan....but first,i gotta need some rest..."Xei said as he walk through the Alley and take some rest at his hideout...

Guards came out from all sides. They were surrounded. 30 to 2, the odds weren't in someone's favors. But Mafia only get anywhere by being strong, and resourceful. Lisa slid between a guard's legs, before jumping up on the other side, and quickly knocking him out with a blow to the head.  Some of them turned around, but it was too late. With a few fluid motions, they were down for the count. Now most of them had their attention focused on her. Ace was taking some others out, easily enough, but Lisa couldn't take this many herself. Looking around, she spotted something. A fire extinguisher. Lisa grasped it and sprayed ice cold CO2 at the group of guards. Now they were blinded, cold, and confused. Practically fodder for her weapon. She was able to take them out one by one. As the last one fell to a kick to the stomach. "Now what?" she called to Ace. "Go in deeper, or escape while we can? These were just small fry, there'll be tougher enemies coming up."

"Well let's go after the kiddies while we have a good chance. I believe a few are scatter. Most likely near the basement of this damned place. If the leaders here I call them." The grin under the helmet would of sent most people running but to his luck he had gotten his boots on just a minute or so ago. "I wonder if getting rushed would be enough to break one of there spines? I guess I get to test the theory." He wasn't 180 for nothing. Haha the irony of his own number in insanity. "Hurry up if you want one!" With that he was hovering off he ground at least a good foot before he started down a hall all to happy with himself.

Kuro suddenly heard everything went quiet.

"I better...go up." she said, grabbing up her scythe and the bag, stepping up the stairs carefully, opening the door.

Smoke quickly entered the room because of the smoke bomb. 

"Damn it...Kiku is probably is dead...." Kuro whispered, using her arm to shelid herself from breathing any smoke.

She still heard commotion, but needed to escape like Kiku said to.

Kuro ran out of the room and into the smoke, barely able to breathe, making it into the lobby after running for a while, where she spotted Code on the ground in the elevator. 

'Maybe I should help him...yet maybe I shouldn't...Well I need to TRY and help people...' she thought, coughing a bit because of the damned smoke.

Kuro flipped Code over with her shoe, studying his face. 

"I can deal with him. I just have to get him the hell out of here..." she sighed, thinking for a bit.

"I'm dragging him." she snapped, hearing footsteps down the halls. 

She grabbed Code by his shirt and started dragging him out.

"What am I going to do now...?" she asked as she finally got Code out the door. 

She dragged him a little further down the road, and kicked him half way down an ally way so the people who attacked the building wouldn't find them and kill them either. 

"Man, I am mean...kicking people around..." she sighed, sitting down the still unconscious Code. 

'I breathed in too much damned smoke...' she thought, laying on her side. 

'I should have protected Kiku.' she thought, closing her eyes as she soon became unconscious as well because of the smoke the bomb caused.

'I'm free now...I think...'  Kuro thought.

"Cool." Lisa said, following Ace down to the basement. Hopefully, they would be able to take out important members of the squad. If that was done, it would make the eventual fall of SIBYL that much easier. Down flights of stairs they went. Lisa tensed up. She felt like there would be a fight soon. Finally they reached the main basement level. "We should spread out. We cover more ground, and harder for them to find us. There'll be a communication issue, but hopefully we'll be able to hear a good loud yell from anywhere." she said, covering aspects of her plan to split up.

I remember having a friend who worked for SIBYL. He died, however. Captured and killed by a mafia. 

 

I was here at the SIBYL headquarters because today was my first day here, in Unit 2. 

 

While walking in the lobby, an officer walks up to me and says, "Oh, you must be one of the new recruits.... Goofy. Follow me." 

 

"Okay." I said, and the officer leads me to a group of people, I guess they are the other recruits, and walked on.
