Why the hell do they have destiny islands as a white globe on the map but now allow us to visit it? It's aggravating

Yeah i was wondering too. Maybe they were just bored to make Destiny Islands Outside picture so they just had a white globe . Or maybe it's another galaxy lololololol.....

To indicate that it exists. What would you do there? There's no Unversed and DI is supposed to be a boring, back waters, little hamlet that gets forgotten about and the most notable thing about it is the legendary Paopu Fruit which Terra and Aqua find as soon as they get there. They saw the Paopu so literally every thing they'd want to go there for specifically was accomplished. Ven was the only one who didn't find the Paopu but he was there to spur the bigger mystery as to why Vanitas didn't spread his Unversed to DI. I ca see how it would be aggravating to some but...there just wouldn't be much to do there. I guess you could explore but you'd be given less to look at then say KH1.

Maybe the islands have a light barrier, this crashed in the KH1, when the heartless is attack. Infiniteseaa...

I think it's because you go there in cutscenes in BBS and it shows where it is. Sure you can't ACTUALLY go there but it's a good thought.

Also, they couldn't let we go there, because of Aqua and Terra could only meet Sora and Riku that one time, and Ven couldn't meet them.

But they put it there just to troll us

To keep players from straying too far from the story.  And there was really no need for you to go there after the cut scenes.

It's there just to acknowledge its existence really. There is no area they needed to make playable. However with CWcheat you can get a room mod running where you can get into Destiny Island...but there is nothing to do there, and you fall through the floor alot. Although I think the destiny islands theme song plays in the background which is nice.

When Bbs first came out, I would watch those Japanese playthroughs and wonder what the firetruck that big glowing world was. Then I got the game and saw it was Destiny Islands... mystery solved.

On a different note did anyone else notice that in the Trinity Archives, when you look you look at Ventus' Timeline and go to Destiny Islands, the photo they have shows Destiny Islands at sunset, but the scene when Ven goes there and meets Vanitas its clearly bright and sunny, white sand and all. That probably has something to do with those beta trailers, right.

I know, I've always wondered if there was some way in there...  It would've been fun to explore Destiny Islands, maybe make it like a bonus world sort of like The Hundred Acre Wood was in KH1 and 2.

i think that considering that its the place sora comes from, they should put more effort into it. but who am i to question tetsuya nomura? i dont have the right to question a genius like that.

maybe because there's only cutscenes having to do with that world. not really much to do there besides meeting young sora and riku
