As we know, whille Roxas was dreaming, the actors had to vocie-over again those cutscenes, I guess... I think that the makers did not used the previously lines from the original game for those cutscenes because Billy Zane (1st Ansem's actor) wasn't voicing him. But, Sora's voice was still younger but the actor was already old to make that voice... I guess... Was Haley able to make his 14's voice again?

I know that this sounds stupid but I'm curious...and another thing. Sora did not forced hsi vocie on KH: CoM but he did forced his voice back in KH3D... It lookedl ike he had a cold...

By KH2 Osment couldn't make him self sound like the way he did before. The thing with Billy Zane I'm guessing was contractual issues of some sort so they couldn't use his voice for KH2.

 

From what I understand by 3D there was a new voice director in charge which may have been why Osment sounded different. He may have been instructed to squeeze his balls to try and sound as young as possible.

It kinda depends on what you mean by Com, in Chain of memories for the game boy advance they used an archive of Kh1 Sora sounds, like how in the prideland's young Simba's "NOOOOOOOOOOOO" was the same as the movie. In Re: Com they revoiced everything so whether or not he tryed to sound younger I don't know. I guess it's possible his voice changed from the time of chasing Pluto to entering castle oblivion

DDD Sora sounds different because they wanted to haev him sound younger, he sounds like he did in KH2 during the Mysterious Tower segments

As for DDD...I thought he was supposed to have his older KH2 voice, since it was his older "self" going into his young-looking body in the dream.  Just my personal thoughts on the matter.  I could be wrong.

0_0 I can kinda understand that much. Sora's voice was meant to sound a bit younger in the dream sequences of the exam, which it did to some degree, but in his KH2 body form, he should have sounded his age, and he did. ^_^

What I'd meant was that the KH1 flashbacks weren't re-voiced.  And, actually, I never did compare his voice to The Mysterious Tower scenes...  I'll have to check that out.
