Well I was watching some KH3D scenes and then I saw this video below where Ansem the Wise says that he never knew Riku's name

But if you watch this video here in 358/2 days Ansem the Wise says Riku's name...

So did he like, forget or something?

In kh2 Riku said his name was ansem because of his fear of darkness back then. He got Riku to tell him his real name in kh3D to show how he's grown.

Do you have proof? He already knew his name though.

Yeah I know that I was asking for proof for why "He got Riku to tell him his real name in kh3D to show how he's grown." How do you know that? Because right now all you've got is assumptions.

It's not assumptions. xD

Nomura has it in an interview. Ansem did it to show how Riku is proud of who he is and how he's grown.

Where is this interview?

The Ansem in KH3D isn't the real one. He's a data version of him which might have been created before he ever met Riku.

The real one of course knew who Riku was. He said his name several times at The World That Never Was.

Nope he has the data from everything that has happened up until his death. Don't worry Keysofblades cleared it up for me it was just a symbolic thing.

All you had were assumptions as well.

I know this is all said and done already, but I just had to point that out.

The data was placed inside Sora while he was still sleeping. How could he put everything that happened to him up until his death inside Sora as well? Ansem couldn't have placed inside Sora what happened to him after Sora had awoken.

How was I making assumptions when I was asking a question? I was showing you how he already knew Riku's name but he asked him in KH3D, I was just wondering why he asked him when he already knew Riku's name. Hence the:

So did he like, forget or something?

I guess Corey Burton didn't play 358/2 days

Always read the interviews Coolwings.

I was pretty sure that was more of a symbolic thing

See in KH2 when Riku had taken the form of Ansem, whenever he was asked his name he said he was Ansem (SoD, not Wise).  Asking him again in 3D and Riku finally saying his name is Riku was kind of symbolic of him accepting himself as he is.

Alright thanks, could of showed me this with your first post to be honest @.@

That takes a lot of work. :P
