Are you looking forward to it?

You may know i huge MGS fan it's easly one of my favorite series, but i not looking forward to it that much and here's why

1)Story is going to be less complex,intersing and not main focus to game like in prevoius mgs.

2)Only a few returning characters

3)Matsuyama has stated that one of his goals for Rising is to put a greater emphasis on gameplay while featuring a less complicated story with shorter cutscenes than previous titles. His intent is to provide an experience that will be fully enjoyable to players who have not experienced its prequels or sequel, and so it will function more as a self-contained story and will likely not lead directly into the plot of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots

4)Properly biggest point of all Hideo Koijma is not writing,directing or really helping

5)No Snake in game yet

6)Raiden in MGS 4 made no sence he could hold back a ship and had insame recoverny time.Which it's what there basing there character on

6. The story about how Raiden underwent that transformation was only explained in the MGS4 Database. It'll be cool to actually experience it in-game.

Gameplay looks reptive and boring,It's in between 2 and 4 so snake could be in it like mgs 2 his role isn't as important.EVA should be should be in.I would like more backround on EVA and Ocelot plan to save BIg Boss.Hopefully they don't put in anyone from Beauty and Beast Crew there back story were weak and characters weren't as intersing as FOX Hound memebers.Vamp could be the game with his rivaly with Raiden.Rose should be given to be in the game.Also i'm one of few people that likes MGS2 raiden over 4th one

I agree with you on this. This seems so unnecessary. All it tells us is how Raiden became a ninja right before the events of MGS4. This game seems way more focused on gameplay than the story. I'm not too excited for this game at all.

The Spike TV Video Game Awards might have not aired, but one of the show's biggest reveals is already on the 'net. Game Informer has posted the leaked Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance trailer found on NeoGaf. (Yes, that's a new subtitle.) In it, Raiden cuts the hell out of everything in his path, but the biggest news comes at the very end when it's revealed that the game's being produced by Kojima Productions but developed by Platinum Games, the folks behind Vanquish and Bayonetta. Look for more details when tonight's show airs.

le sigh, mgs is honestly my favorite piece of entertainment ever. this just seems dumb to me im sorry. i like raiden too, mgs 2 is probably my favorite one. too bad, hopefully its good.

It doesn't look like an MGS game anymore... because it ISN'T an MGS game anymore. They took 'Solid' out of it's name, so it's now something completely different now. I'm probably gonna pick this one up.

Metal Gear people like to make up words.I know but still it don't look good in my opinion but happy platinum taking it over with all rising problems happening with the first team

I like that they changed the name to Metal Gear Rising.. but what's the revengeace for?

The change is a little frightening, considering MGS is one of my favorite series, but you also have to remember that Raiden's no Solid Snake. He's a crazy cyborg soldier.

 

Hopefully the story's still MGS.

More or less that's the story and agree Okami has great story.It's better this game it's being made by Plat over komami because komami wanted less metal gear like story and more gameplay elements which platinum great at they just need to get rid of revengeance name.I still don't want to play this game but for what they were going platnium is one of best studios for this game of late.
