During the Nintendo Direct event today, they announced that Atlus and Intelligent Systems were working on a crossover game for two of their series, imaginatively called Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem. No real information yet, though.

It's totally out of left field, but whatever it is, my money's already sold.

Wow. This was unexpected. But yeah SMT X Fire emblem is a definite buy for me.

Pity they didn't show any footage. I wonder if the main series is the only continuity being featured. Either way it's good that its getting some overdue exposure.

I love Fire Emblem but that was one short trailer. I'm meh on it until I get more information.

I feel the same way.  Except I'm not in college.  Still have to save my own money, though.

It seems that the crossover will be a RPG, not a Strategic RPG... Still plan to pick it up though. Both are amazing series.

Yeah! It's a crossover, so that's why they're developing alongside each other. Can't wait for more info!

Well, Project X Zone was only developed by Namco, I think.  The others just gave them permission to use the characters.

Yeah, that's true. I'm looking forward to that game as well. And SMT X FE is definitely being devved by both Atlus and IS. Characters from each of their own games will be in the crossover.
