I know Photoshop is a more common term for the title, but I wouldn't be telling the truth about what I used, and most of you guys are internet savvy enough to know what Gimp is.

Tell me what you think!

These are awesome! :D

You definitely have some talent. :) Nice work. Keep doing these and practicing!

Not bad, but it could definitely use some work. For starters, either use renders, or start working on cutting more carefully. It takes away when everything is cut out oddly.

These look good. I wish I knew how to use gimp or photoshop. Keep doing these and you'll be a pro in no time :D

I gotta be honest. NOT the kind of gimp I was thinking about.

Any particular methods on how? I usually start off with a color select of an area to delete or free form select around the figure I want. From there, I carefully erase and use the smudge tool. I've also tried the composite detecting smart scissors and some other things, but the hair remains extremely difficult to extract.

Thanks, everyone!

I tend to use renders because it's a lot of work to render one of these well by yourself. When I do render things, I get the clutter out of the way. Then I zoom in really close, using a really small eraser too, until I've gotten it. If you practice enough, you can get very clean, nice looking cuts.

Niceee :D

They all look very nice! :D  I wish I could use photoshop or GIMP. ;-;

Gimp is the best tool and photoshop too I kinda wanna feel like editing stuff again lol
