i'm wondering if anyone knows what mmo is in right now. i'm talking about the kind of mmo you say to your self "i'l get an hour in before dinner" and then look at the clock and its 4 am (screwattack quote) something like phantasy star when it was new. does anyone now something like that? or are mmos just not in right now?

ectsactly.

Eve online is pretty popular for people who have too much money and too much free time right now.

The only MMO I've ever played was Runescape.  While I hear it frequently discussed, I'm not too sure anyone really plays it anymore.

there's lots of those.  Some of the free ones that I'm either playing or will play eventually are Aion Online, Dungeon Fighter Online, and Spiral Knights.

Planetside 2.  That game is great (and FREE)!  Though, the patch that came out today has jacked-up my FPS (soon to be fixed). :P
