Ports of previous Generations of Pokemon on 3DS e-shop,what do you think?

Posted

I've been thinking about this when I was playing Pokemon Soulsilver during the last two weeks. How about porting the old generations of Pokemon to the 3DS e-shop???

Pokemon BlueRedYellow & RubySaphireEmerald & FireredLeafgreen

and add the transportation system to them so you can migrate your Pokemon from older generations to generation 5 & 6

It'll be awesome to relive all the nostalgic moments of Gen 1 with the ability to transport your old Pokemon to Gen 5 & 6 games

That'd be interesting I guess, can't really say because I no has 3ds Owo

I still stand for RSE remake firetruck all this shit

I second that motion haha, my blue version cartridge died years ago and trips out every time I try to play it, and my sapphire version's "internal battery has run dry" so clock based events stop occurring(atleast the games still playable unlike blue version though).

So yea I'd love if they made those generations 3DS ports.

God Please no. >.< Maybe Gen 3, but anything else would cause fuss over "How do I trade!?"

What???? Trading can be done in the usual old way (Gen1 to Gen 1 ....etc) only migrating would be different

Yes, yes yes.

Doesn't the 3DS Ambassadors get the GBA games in the e-Shop?

We did get some GBA games, but none of them were Pokemon.

The games we did get where damn good though! Fire Emblem, Yoshi's island, etc.

I actually saw a picture somewhere (cant remember where of course) of a person's 3DS with the Blue Version title screen on the top screen, almost thought this was a confirmation thread...

But I think it would be a fantastic idea, they would make so much money off of that! They would certainly get my money.

An interesting idea, but I wouldn't be too excited over Red, Blue etc. Though nostalgia is nice, those games were bad. From FireRed to Emerald would be nice. But I don't think that Nintendo is interested in making those kind of remakes though...

Yes, because remaking the modern generation (III) would lead to remaking IV and remaking the remakes (FR/LG,HG/SS)

I said ports not remakes

I was agreeing on the ports and stating that remaking the modern gen would make remakes of the remakes.

Not nessessarly, they can just port FireRedLeafGrean remakes of Gen 1 without needing to port Gen 1 games unless they might do it for nostalgic values,

They obviously won't port HeartGoldSoulSilver because they're still available and it's been 2 years since their release.

I really want a port for RubySaphireEmerald or better.....a Remake for them with 3DS graphics similar to the graphics of X & Y

Having Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, Crystal, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, LeafGreen and FireRed on the e-Shop would be a good idea and I do like the idea of transferring pokemon over to the newer games but at this point the only games in need of this would be R/S/E with the lack of GBA slot on the 3DS then it makes perfect sense for people without an older DS to have access to these pokemon.

As for just having the older games in general on the e-Shop it's a good idea for those who want it but personally it's easier for me just to emulate them...

But it would benefit the fans more if they had RSE FireRedLeafGreen on the e-shop so we can transfer them to the new gen games since the 3DS doesn't have a GBA slot

it's a great idea to port the nostalgic games (preferably RSE/FRLG) over to the e-shop.

However, they should add a feature where you can trade them via wifi between the games I mentioned. I will buy it in a heartbeat if this was to happen.

then again, it may not be possible, but one can dream. and I agree with the RSE remake but for 3DS
