All I knew was that bit about the Jungle Book xD

Wow this was pretty awesome! I knew 1 or 2 of them but still the stuff I didn't know was cool! Now I'm extremely curious as to why the Jungle Book was removed...and what story it could possibly have had.

The only thing about this is that I wish people would stop saying that Aqua's back thing was a censorship issue (which leads to Disney damning). That was never said to be the reason, it's something that's just widely accepted by the fans. Nomura didn't go much into detail about the change but I got the impression he changed it on his own whim perhaps because he didn't like it. imo I think he changed it because the backless design didn't make much sense with the outfit he gave her. He gave her a corset and a backless corset makes as much sense as a backless bra. To make her outfit more conceptually functional he would either have to put a back to the corset or ditch it entirely.

Ranting aside I liked the video. I knew all this stuff already but it was funny none the less.

I really wonder how people could be annoyed about an exposed back.  When I actually saw the picture I think she looks much better with the corset thing ._.'

Indeed, it's the idea that she was "sexier" with the backless design although it doesn't make much difference. But when you look past the "sex appeal" the design is kind of silly in that it's apparent it's trying a little to hard and is starting to defy the logic of the outfit for the sake of an extra 4-5 inches of back. Which I think is the real reason why Nomura went back and changed it.

Yeah-no, I think they were grasping lol. The change is for the better.

I really think they should have left The Jungle Book as a world in the game. It was already close to being finished, so I don't see why they left it out.

Same. I've heard different theories on it and not many make too much sense. One compares jungle book to neverland. owo
