Posted February 13, 201313 yr Source: http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2013/02/pokemon_scramble_u_confirmed_for_spring_arrival_in_japan So now we'll get another Pokemon rumble game. I quite liked the first one and I heard 3d blast was good so I'm interested to see how this turns out. Featuring all 649 Pokemon and 4 players is also pretty neat. Over all looking forward to this. February 13, 201313 yr I'm not a big fan of the Rumble Blast/spin-offs besides Ranger and MD. Hope this is good
February 13, 201313 yr That's pretty cool, now I sit hear and wait for a Pokemon Stadium 3 announcement
February 13, 201313 yr The first one was good because it was completely new, the 3D one was good because you could get all the pokemon but the wiiu doesnt add anything new as of yet, either way i think 3 is too much for this series

February 15, 201313 yr Author They should stop milking this. Played it and gets boring pretty fast+where's Colosseum- type of game? It'd be pretty awesome to have another Colosseum or stadium game. Hope they do that eventually Also, some pre-release screenshots for the game: Source: http://www.serebii.net/rumbleu/pics.shtml Not really the best screenshots but it looks interesting. EDIT: More screens have been added but due to the image limit for kh13 I'll just have to provide a link. http://www.serebii.net/rumbleu/pics.shtml EDITX2: So now another update, you can fight up to 100 Pokemon at a time here which is pretty cool addition. Also, better versions of the screenshots are now available in the source link below Source: http://www.siliconera.com/2013/02/15/fight-up-to-100-pokmon-at-a-time-in-pokmon-rumble-u/ Edited February 15, 201313 yr by Keysofblades
March 13, 201313 yr Author Update: The game will release in Japan on April 24th for 1,800 yen. This is the first wii u game to use nfc, where you purchase pokemon figurines in pokemon centre stores to add them into the game. They will be available on the same day for 200 yen. And 6 Standard Figures and 1 Special Figure are to go on sale on April 24th. And here's the story for the game: the toy Pokémon have been lost from the shop after falling in the river. The task is to get back to the Toy Shop, while facing various bosses such as Chandelure. The figures are trainable and you can record your battle information on them. March 13, 201313 yr I always said to my brother that Nintendo would make a killing if they gave Pokemon the Skylanders treatment, now this happens. If they really do get a good amount of money from this, then the only explanation is that I am psychic. Joking aside, it certainly sounds interesting. I hope they add some more depth to the game-play. The first one was fun, but it was a download only game. I really don't think there is enough there to make a full retail release (like the 3DS version).
March 15, 201313 yr Author Update: The first line of figures has been revealed The first trailer is up: And a bit more info on the game: In this game, you can attack via the GamePad's touch screen. There are also various items that you can find within the game. These items will do things such as make you big or heal. Some levels have gimmicks that you can control, and others that will damage you. Each area has a boss at the end, and has multiple levels. Timed battles also appear. You can use the figures in the game and raise them using coins obtained within the game. This makes them potentially stronger than the counterparts you capture in-game. Figures can be used in other player's games, retaining the progress you made with them. Source: http://www.serebii.net Edited March 15, 201313 yr by Weiss
March 16, 201313 yr If localized, I might just have to buy those figurines even though I don't have a Wii U. Bulbasaur and Lucario are two of my favorites.
