I have a Level 65 Raichu right now,his stats are all good except his defense,it's sooo low and he always get knocked out by strong physical attacks.

 

I've tried to give him enough Iron but I think I used too much until it's no longer has an effect.

 

 

Can someone tell me a way to increase the defense of my Raichu???

im not sure i usually train it up 2 lvl 100                   0.o             sos but thats all i can think of

i konw it take long but if u give it the exp thingy its alot faster

Well, Raichu's Defense isn't the greatest.

 

You should focus on Raichu's Speed, and Sp.Atk, so it can outrun opponents, and go for a clean kill.

I'm assuming your S.Def is low too? If it is, then try using LOTSA zincs. 

 

There's always a loophole, heighten your Raichu's speed and if it by chance has Double Team, heightening evasiveness, then there's much advantage.

My Raichu has a decent speed,not an Electrode speed but it's decent enough to outrun most Pokemon I fight(except Alakazam for some reason)

 

I think I need to teach Raichu some moves like Double Team and Thunder(I taught Thunderbolt to Mewtwo unfortunately) 

 

My Raichu already has Thunder Wave and Nasty Plot so I just need double team and Thunder then I'm all good

You should have EV trained him by fighting Kakuna and Metapods. They both give 2 defense EV's

You can let Raichu learn Thunderbolt. All you need to do is go to Blackthron City, and hand over an Heart Scale to the Move Relearner to re-learn a move. Thundebolt's part of his natural base moves.

 

And just for the fun of it, I'll give you the moveset I used for my Raichu in the last run of SoulSilver I made

 

- Thunderbolt

- Focus Blast

- Grass Knot

- Thunder Wave

The only real way to increase it easy I can think of is to give it some iron

In Johto, you can find Heart Scales in Route 32 (With Dowsing Machine), Violet City, Cianwood City (Rock Smash), and Dark Cave (Rock Smash)

In Kanto you can find Heart Scales in Route 19, Vermilion City (With Dowsing Machine), Rock Tunnel, and Victory Road.

 

Also, I wouldn't rely on that moveset. You only have 1 damaging move, and it has bad accuracy.

 

Thunder Wave's fine, keep it. But I wouldn't keep Sweet Kiss(Terrible accuracy), and Nasty Plot (Raichu can't handle hits when it uses this).
