(This RP takes place after KH3)

Sora's team has been defeated by Xehanort and is henchmen during the new Keyblade War. Now the worlds have fallen to darkness and a new group of heroes must stand up and rise against Xehanort’s forces. Will this new team of heroes be able to defeat Xehanort or will they fall just as Sora did?

BACKGROUND

Our heroes arrived at The Keyblade Graveyard; the place was occupied by abandoned keyblades with fallen master, as far as one could see… keyblades. “Quite a sight isn’t it?” A voice began to speak but there was nobody around. Sora, Riku, Kairi, Donald, Goofy, Mickey, Ventus, Aqua, and Axel all started looking around; trying to find this voice. “Soon your keyblades shall rest here too.” The voice finished.

“Show yourself Master Xehanort!!!” Aqua cried out to the direction the voice was coming from. Then several voices began to laugh hysterically from all different directions.

“Which one?” They all said at once. The several different versions of Xehanort all took a few steps forward; walking out of a heavy fog quiet a distance away from our heroes, they surrounded them from all angles. There was the old Master Xehanort Aqua and Ventus knew, a young Xehanort that harassed Sora and Riku in the sleeping worlds, the Xehanort in Terra’s body, Xehanort’s Heartless (Ansem ‘the seeker of darkness’), Xehanort’s Nobody (Xemnas), and then there was Riku… when he was controlled by Ansem ‘seeker of darkness’.

Riku glared at the other him with hate, the hatred against himself for falling down that path in the first place. The other Riku starred back and smiled. “Still running away?” He said simply just to tick him off. Aqua saw the version of Xehanort that rested in her friend’s body. “Terra, don’t worry… I’ll get the fiend out.” She said under her breath while she looked down at her way finder and back at Ventus who was staring down the same Xehanort.

Behind the many Xehanorts were seven more people; Braig, Isa, Dyme(Demyx), Reneal (Larxene), Malaria (Marluxia), Rolud (Luxord), and Vanitas. These seven and the six Xehanorts made The Thirteen Darkness’s. “Seems like you guys are outnumbered!” Braig announced aloud.
 

Sora stepped forward and held up a fist. “That doesn’t matter! We have something that none of your will ever have, we have a strong heart. As long as we have each other, there will be a light that never goes out!” Everyone nodded and summoned their keyblades (Except Donald and goofy who summoned their own weapons.)

Master Xehanort smiled “Great concept, but you all will not triumph over us!” He summoned his keyblade and the battle begun.

AFTER THE BATTLE
 

Sora and Ventus were the only ones left alive. Sora was on his knees and using his Kingdom Key to hold himself up he looked at the 13 that surrounded him. Ventus was still battling Vanitas and just as Sora looked over to them fighting, Vanitas struck his keyblade into Ventus. Ventus let up light the horizon at dawn and leaned his head to the side and looked back at Sora mouthing his final words, ‘Sorry’. His light broke into several pieces and then formed into Vanitas’s keyblade, when the light dimmed Vanitas was wielding a new weapon… The X-Blade. A light shined through the clouds that were over the graveyard and Sora and Master Xehanort both looked up and smiled. Young Xehanort looked down at Sora and smirked a little “why are you smiling?” He asked.

Sora grinned wider as the light from the sky revealed Kingdom Hearts and its light shined on Sora only. Sora finally answered Young Xehanort. “Because…. Kingdom Hearts… is light….” He barely managed to work out those words, after doing so Master Xehanort drew his attention from Kingdom Heart down to Sora and frowned.

“Foolish boy, such folly.” He then drew back his keyblade and struck Sora in the chest. His heart left his body and rose up to the sky… becoming one with Kingdom Hearts.

PLOT

 

 

Now that Sora and his friends are now no more, nobody could stop Xehanort from casting the worlds into darkness. A new group of Keyblade Wielders must now rise up against Xehanort and his followers and return light to the worlds that have lost it.

RP Begins Here!

Raynd was in Traverse Town; how he arrived he doesn’t remember… the last thing he recalls is being attacked by creature of both white and black.

“What were those things?” Looking back he remembers a faint light that grew and blinded him. Raynd looked at his hand. “And what was that thing?”

Keyblade……

Raynd then heard some screaming from district 2 and rushed to the scene

Master Xehanort sat on a thrown in the Land of Departure, the middle on at that. The other 12 darkness’s were also in the room. Master Xehanort felt like the king of the worlds and his thirst for knowledge turned him mad for power. Being cocky his X-Blade leaned against his thrown.

 

Young Xehanort had a the thrown to his left reserved for him (you can be sitting there or not just letting you know it’s yours.) and the thrown to his right sat Vanitas, the reason that Xehanort had the X-Blade in the first place.


“Now!” He announced. “Now is our time to reign supreme and turn the worlds to darkness from which they came!”

{Nexus}

Drave stood up, unfolding his large stature, and glared at Four, his near black eyes flashing.

"Not bad." he commented. "For a simple attack pattern."

[Nexus Shift]

Annistha swept back a stray dreadlock back over her slim shoulder.

"At least you got the basics." she added brightly. "You could work out."

She then jerked her thumb towards Zion and Soren.

"Just kiss and make up quick."

(well, the current scene between Four, Nexus, Zion, Soren, etc., is in district 1. I think your characters, Terranort, Sodom and Zephyr are over in 4th. With that in mind, what ever you want.)

Zion walked up and kicked Four again.

"Twin hearts. One of light, one of darkness."

One eye changed blue.

~We are balance. What the worlds should be.~

Then Kelsi stepped up. "And...if I am not mistaken...the boy with the blindfold, with that blue-grey hair...he used darkness too. Yet...did he not play with Kairi before Xehanort struck them down?"

Kelsi folded her arms.

 

((Just say some broken communications came in; I can attribute it to system malfunction and blame it on a fluke accident.))

{Nexus}

Annistha sighed.

"So much for hugging it out." she muttered.

[Nexus Shift]

"Though, what Zion said is right." he added in. "The worlds require Balance. You can't have a world with out Light and Darkness. This Balance is the center of the worlds and what Xehanort is destroying."

Alrighty then, I'll keep that in mind when he gets off-world later. And Don't worry about where to post yuffie. This is purely filler for the dead time here on the RP. 

 

[Traverse Town, 1st District]

 

Four felt the impact of a kick on his lower right leg. He didn't budge, but it was hard enough to signify her intention. He looked down at the site of impact; no scuff. Good... was his only thought. "Twin hearts. One of light, one of darkness." was Zion's reply. That's so WICKED!!!! he thought to himself. "Alright" he said, still very suspicious of all three of them, "I can go with that. For now." He slowly reached for his twin arrow-guns, grabbing onto the grips and looking around. "So much for hugging it out." he heard Marcus say. Four slowly laughed. "You know, that's not a bad idea!" he said as he looked towards him.  Marcus then suddenly shifted his tone. "Though, what Zion said is right. The worlds require balance. You can't have a world with out Light and Darkness. This Balance is the center of the worlds and what Xehanort is destroying." "And...if I am not mistaken" Kelsi chimed in, "the boy with the blindfold, with that blue-grey hair...he used darkness too. Yet...did he not play with Kairi before Xehanort struck them down?" Four looked towards Kelsi, realizing that she was talking about Riku. "He played with both Sora and Kairi mind you, as well as others. After she decided to introduce me to them, he and Sora both shared their stories and considered me a friend." He looked towards Zion. "But for her, I'm just a stranger. Nothing stopping her from going all out darkness to strike me down." He looked at Kelsi. "So... why didn't she?"

{Nexus}

"Nor Drave." Marcus pointed out. "The other me that summoned the Heartless."

[Nexus Shift]

"Light, dark. It doesn't matter." Drave explained. "It's the person who uses it."

[Nexus Shift]

Marcus shrugged.

"Drave, Annistha and me were separate hearts. Drave dark. I was Light and Annistha was inbetween. Now our hearts are fused together. We are balanced. And we choose what we do. Not what our alignment dictates we should be."

Kelsi looked at Zion with a smile.

"Because. Her heart is as pure as Kairi's, as strong as Sora's...and as stubborn as Riku. She has full control of her darkness, her second persona. Sione and her work together...but tou wonder why she still hesitates to strike you down for that stunt?"

Kelsi held her hand out to Zion. "Because she saw you fight. She saw your struggle, your mistakes. She holds back because she has something you aren't seeing can come from darkness." Kelsi waved her hand, frost forming the shape of a heart. "A heart overflowing with light. Laughter, kindness, love. And forgiveness."

Yyyeeaaahhh! Character development points! also note, he didn't notice Zion at the islands

 

[Traverse Town, 1st District]

 

"But for her, I'm just a stranger. Nothing stopping her from going all out darkness to strike me down. So... why didn't she?"

 

"Nor Drave." Marcus chimed in. Four looked at him with a puzzled look under his helmet. "The other me that summoned the Heartless." His voice shifted. "Light, dark. It doesn't matter. It's the person who uses it." Four only tilted his head a little to the side, trying to make sense of it all.  "Drave, Annistha and me were separate hearts. Drave dark. Four nodded as he finally understood. Three hearts in one person? That would explain the shift.

 

He then looked at Kelsi, waiting for her response to the question. "Her heart is as pure as Kairi's" she started, "as strong as Sora's...and as stubborn as Riku. That seems a bit too harsh for a little fun." Four replied, "Long before that. Back in Twilight Town. Hell, I wouldn't even resist if she wanted me out of existence. She would have done me a favor actually. To end my pain..." Kelsi calmly replied back. "Because she saw you fight. She saw your struggle, your mistakes. She holds back because she has something you aren't seeing can come from darkness. A heart overflowing with light. Laughter, kindness, love. And forgiveness." "The fight back at Twilight Town was for the most part executed flawlessly." he retorted, "The only 'mistake' I ever did was trusting the others to protect that stranger as I went off to intercept Braig." He tilted his head, confused at the last statement. "You lost me at the last part though. Mind explaining?"

{Nexus}

~*Inside The Nexus*~

Inside the combined heart of The Nexus, an argument was going full swing.

"He might know a few moves, but that doesn't mean he will be of help." Drave stated.

"Come on, we need all the help we can get and it looks like Four and the others are getting..." Annistha bickered back

"He hasn't seen y'all." Marcus interrupted, coming out of a comptimplative silence.

The other two parts of the Nexus halted their argument and turned their attention to Marcus.

"How is that possible?" Annistha asked. "Me and Drave talked to him, just like you did."

"But he didn't notice the change." Marcus replied. "Whenever one of us is in charge of the body, the body changes accordingly."

Annistha nodded her understanding.

"Okay, but again, how?"

Marcus shrugged.

"Our appearance is based on other's perceptions. Up til now, they've been receptive to seeing the change. But why he just sees me and not y'all is bugging me."

"It's because of his focus." Drave added in. "He focuses on his duty, and all other things are secondary. He sees Marcus and that's all that matters. The change doesn't change reality substantially, so he doesn't notice."

Marcus pulled gently at his goatee for a bit before nodding.

"Maybe. Hadn't thought of it like that."

Annistha face palmed.

"So he sees Marcus when I talk?" she gripped. "Ugg."

She then grinned manically and spread her arms out in a sweeping gesture.

"Welp. That's gotta stop."

~*Real World*~

With the internal dialog happening in a fraction of a second, Marcus's face went from a look of patient understanding to a wince.

[Nexus Shift]

Annistha took in a deep breath, squaring her slim shoulders and walked up to Four. She pulled the rubber band out of her hair, letting her dreadlocks fall around her head. She pulled her head back and rocked it forward, smacking Four in the face with her dreads.

"Oy!" she said as her hair hit.

He repeated the head rocking and cries of "Oy" till Four responded.

Whoops... and finally someone understands back to da character sheet!

 

[Traverse Town, 1st District]

 

Four unholstered his twin arrow-guns and connected them together, forming the arrow rifle as he held the newly formed weapon in his hand. It felt reassuring to him, and he needed that small amount of comfort. Having never been that much of a social person, talking that much while being surrounded by six potential separate entities was a bit nerve-wracking for him. Then again... he thought to himself, I was never supposed to talk to Kairi. Extenuating circumstances gave me no other option. She doesn't deserve to be sad. Not while I could try and do something about it. He looked around to make sure his imminent surroundings were still clear of darkness, still waiting for Kelsi's reply and trying to figure out who blew his cover.

 

"Oy!" Four looked towards the person who said it. The person approaching him was different this time; a girl. But he did remember seeing Marcus shifting into that physical form for just a moment when he, or rather she, suggested the idea of hugging out their differences. He mentioned Drave as the one to summon the heartless, so this must be... Annistha. Four replied back in his usual monotone voice. "Marcus." He looked at her for a moment, before adding "or rather... Annistha if I can recall that correctly." It was confusing for him, but he was starting to understand the concept of three hearts merged into one person.

Kelsi facepalmed.

"What the hell is there..."

She walked forward, yanked Four over to Zion, and made sure he saw her.

"She is not all Sione. She is not all Zion. She is what the balance between Light and Dark is. She loves, laughs, and never gives up. Her hearts, both of them, overflow with mercy and forgivness. Now for the love of god. Stop thinking all dark is bad. Because Riku wasn't. Start listening. Start being the person Kairi wants you to be."

"She is hardly a proper balance..." a deep voice slid from the area around Four and Kelsi. A man in an organization coat with his hood on walked over to the pair in a calm but strong gait. He was fairly muscular and tall, and gave off a disturbing aura.~~~~~~~All of a sudden, a bright light flashed before Dark Riku. When the boy could see again, both Isa and Mularia were gone. All was calm as before.

{Nexus}

Annistha was beaming at Four when the dark figure turned up. She looked the new comer up and down, giving a theatric sigh.

"Is this verbal sparring before you attack or are you actually contributing to an intelligent conversation?" she asked in a put upon tone.

[Nexus Shift]

Annistha's slight form was replaced by Drave's bulk without much ceremony, just a change from one second to the next.

"Either way, we're happy." he rasped.

Two Oathkeeper Keyblades impacted the ground on either side od the figure. One was all white with gold tips, while the other was black with lurple tips. Zion/Sione held their hand out, and both keyblades materialized back in her hand as the combined blade Forward Unto Dawn - Unleashed.

~We are balance. Not perfect. But enough to prove an example.~

Sorry for the late reply. Little brother wanted to watch Le Miserables and so did I! Friggin AWESOME!!!!!

To the people at Destiny Islands, sorry if I left you hanging

 

[Traverse Town, 1st District]

 

"She is not all Sione." Kelsi started to lecture towards Four. "She is not all Zion. She is what the balance between Light and Dark is. She loves, laughs, and never gives up. Her hearts, both of them, overflow with mercy and forgivness. Now for the love of god. Stop thinking all dark is bad. Because Riku wasn't. Start listening." Four stayed silent and nodded. Riku's darkness was not his own. he thought to himself. I've seen what light is capable of doing. I've seen what darkness is capable of. I've seen its horrors, it capability of destruction, its ability to bring sorrow. How can it possibly be tied with emotions that are associated with light? His train of thought crashed to a halt as she said her last line. "Start being the person Kairi wants you to be." The statement echoed in his mind for a while.

 

"Irrelevant" he immediately barked back, shocked even at his own action. "Kairi thought nothing of me. Towards Sora and Riku, there was an obviously deep emotional connection." The charm that Kairi gave to him was still cradled in his left hand. "She was kind and considerate, but I know she wouldn't think much of me. To her, I'm just a friendly stranger who was given a name. Nothing more, possibly less." He looked down towards the charm and noticed that his hand was slightly shaking. "All this... is a personal vendetta. And by extension of technicality, standing orders of what Master Yen Sid gave me long ago." He looked inside himself, unsure of the emotion that he was currently feeling about Kairi and the charm. "I'll admit that she's made quite an emotional impact on me, but that's to be expected from a Princess of Light. I care about her but..." he was at a lost of words for a moment before recollecting his train of thought. "Sora and Riku did too. She would immediately forget about me if I disappeared when they all returned back to Destiny Islands. Wouldn't even bother thinking of me ever again. But, such is the life of the Nocturnal Guardians and it's a fact that we have to get used to, for better or for worse. I'm currently operating on the 'start being the person the Guardians wants you to be' mentality."

 

He placed the charm back into his utility pocket when a dark voice appeared from out of the shadows. "She is hardly a proper balance..." Four turned his head only to see an organization coat standing some distance away. "Is this verbal sparring before you attack or are you actually contributing to an intelligent conversation? Either way, we're happy." He witnessed Zion summoning two keyblades that eventually combined in her hands. They look like... Sora's Oathkeepers!? Four took two steps back and leveled his arrow rifle towards the newfound enemy. He knew that the single rifle shot would be instantaneous, but he'd have to reload after every shot and he also knew that it was weaker than what Braig had. Hopefully I can contribute to this fight. First it was an emotional fight, now it's physical. Let's keep it that way. he thought to himself, waiting for the enemy to make their fist move.

Riku wasn't sure what to make of the disappearance and decided that the best course of action was to take a nap on the beach.

Kelsi scowled. "Hayner. Pence. Olette. Did Kairi forget them, as fast as they made friends with her? Have you learned nothing? When you make a friend, your memory can be tampered with, but that impact, that love, will be forever etched onto one's heart. As Sora ascended Castle Oblivion, as I watched his memories tampered with...Tell me Four. What name saved him? After all the chains were broken, what name fixed them? It's the same name that is etched on your heart forever." 

Kelsi turned to face the newcomer, Khione's Fury seeming to freeze the air around it to materialize. "You dare insult my daughter?" Ice seemed to appear at her feet. "Then feel the wrath of the Snow."

A lightning bolt would descend upon the figure, causing both shock damage...and freeze the bastard.

Of course, if he moved now, he might be ok.

 

Zion threw her Keyblade. "Faith Raid!" She shouted.

Upon contact, if he managed to dodge the homing Keyblade, it would strike him with a pillar of light that would split into four pillars and shoot out in a cross-shape, inflicting high damage.

You know nick11h, if you want to join in the fight you could have dark riku teleport to Traverse Town. Every one can go to Traverse Town!

 

[Traverse Town, 1st District]

 

 "Hayner. Pence. Olette." She and Sora both mentioned those names. Four thought to himself as Kelsi both continued to lecture him and take combat actions. "Did Kairi forget them, as fast as they made friends with her? Have you learned nothing? When you make a friend, your memory can be tampered with, but that impact, that love, will be forever etched onto one's heart." I wouldn't know for certain. She never really mentioned their names again after reciting their stories. And... Love? Four was breathless. The signs were pretty obvious between Sora and Kairi, even Riku noticed it and decided to let them be. But they both loved him as a big brother. Kelsi continued her lecture. "As Sora ascended Castle Oblivion, as I watched his memories tampered with...Tell me Four. What name saved him? After all the chains were broken, what name fixed them? It's the same name that is etched on your heart forever."

 

Well... It's Kairi. Plain and simple. He didn't know what to think about her last statement. But... My... heart? Under oath, sure I'm supposed to and I really do care about her but... He decided not to question his feelings any further and instead shifted his focus to the battle. He realized that he was in a tactical disadvantage in relation to Kelsi, Zion and the enemy. He was still unsure of Marcus[Nexus] and considered him neutral until he could really figure that person out. He dashed off to his right and leaned against the alleyway walls, giving him a clear shot of both Marcus and the Organization member.

The hooded member stood still and looked up at the icy shock shooting towards him. For an odd reason, both the Faith Raid and the ice bolt halted immediately, not even giving off any particle or change in lighting. The man slowly lowered his gaze to his attackers as he removed his hood- Xemnas. The nobody continued to speak, "Her power and the degree of light and darkness are both balanced, but they are two parts. No matter how close you two may be to each other, you will still be fractured, a perfect half and another. Another flaw is that you are divided into two identities, hurting the balance. Look at your keyblades, not only are they identical to each other, they bear a striking resemblance to the young keyblade master's. Sora's.  Even I am an imperfect balance- my somebody's heart dwells in darkness within my own. But my skill remains unmatched. I was the original superior of Organization. It is time to test the strength of the Light. You two shall be perfect."

 

With that, Xemnas once again put his hood on. Suddenly both attacks sped towards him. The man held his right hand up towards the bolt coming at him. The icy electricity surged from his hand (which absorbed the attack) all throughout his body. All at the same time, Xemnas got low and spun a 360 in a crouched position, ducking under the Faith Raid. He came up quickly and kicked backwards, sending the spinning keyblade directly up. Xemnas caught the blade and sent a Strike Raid back at Marcus and spun another standing 360 before shooting the freezing and shocking energy out of his hand towards Sione.

Zion called the Keyblade back to her and used Dawnguard, blocking the shot. She scowled.

~It is because we are seperate...that is our strength. We never have to fight alone!~

Zion/Sione's wings flared, the golden angel and purple bat wings glowing brightly. Then blasts of light and darkness were fired, a barrage of energy.

~Feel the power of Albion~ They said, now charging. They spun their Keyblade, the double-edged blade known as Forward Unto Dawn - Radiance Unleashed, it now ablaze with golden fire.

~Feel the power of Dawn.~

As the barrage subsided, the girl swung the keyblade at Xemnas. At contact, it would cause a Plasma-Grenade like explosion - the powerful ability known as Dawnbreaker. But that was not all.

She'd follow up with a  twist and a backflip, so she aim downwards at Xemnas as she went over his head. She then unleashed Dark Barrage, dark orbs pelting Xemnas.

 

~Fractured we may be, but we are stronger apart then together! We are the Vanguard of Salvation's Dawn, and the Harbinger of Daybreak!~

{Nexus}

Drave smiled as he spun his Keyblade, Chaos Ripper, which he had used a moment ago to block the thrown Keyblade and toss it back to its master.

"Excellent." He said, sowing every sign of meaning it.

[Nexus Shift]

Marcus jumped up, his smaller, more agile frame twisting in mid air. In the span if a second, he whipped his Keyblade, Astral Blast, around and aiming at Xemnas. A barrage of magic bolts erupted from the tip of the Keyblade and burned their way to their target.

Marcus twisted again and landed on his feet.

[Nexus Shift]

Drave repositioned his feet into a strong stance, bringing up Chaos Ripper in a defensive position.

[Traverse Town, 1st District. Xemnas vs Zion, Four, Nexus.  Dunno about Kelsi]

 

Since Zion made the first move and not Four in this furball of a battle, he was unable to go into battle serenity. As he was lining up a shot, time slowed to a standstill as the hooded Organization member revealed himself as Xemnas. "Her power and the degree of light and darkness are both balanced, but they are two parts. No matter how close you two may be to each other, you will still be fractured, a perfect half and another. Another flaw is that you are divided into two identities, hurting the balance. Look at your keyblades, not only are they identical to each other, they bear a striking resemblance to the young keyblade master's. Sora's.  Even I am an imperfect balance- my somebody's heart dwells in darkness within my own. But my skill remains unmatched. I was the original superior of Organization. He pulled the trigger, sending an instantaneous light beam towards Xemnas and hoping that it would do some damage towards the nobody. The weapon was designed with overpowering light energy as per Guardian specifications, allowing him to one shot any heartless. But against a nobody, he was uncertain whether it would be as effective as a keyblade strike, more than one, or as effective as a hard punch.

Xemnas held out his hand and yelled, "Guard!" A checkered- force field of energy emanated from his palm, blocking both Sione/Zion's and Marcus's barrages. The Superior then snatched the light beam from Four's gun and spun with it in his hand. The beam grew to about 4 feet while Xemnas twirled it to wield it backhand like a sword. He braced himself and blocked Sione/Zion's keyblade slash, then threw her away from her second melee attempt. Xemnas shot out nearly a hundred red beams out of his palms, which soon sought all of his enemies.

Annistha vaulted up into the air, catching some of the bolts with her Keyblade, Fate Rebellion, and deflecting them back at Xemnas.
