Hello people. Remember how they showed us amazing HD screenshots of KH HD prior to its release? Of course you do. Now there is on image in particular we all got excited about. This one:

Now what so amazing about this image was that they had taken a scene where they originally used a flat-faced - or fish-faced if you prefer - model of Riku and replaced it with a high quality model of him. In comparison look at the original KH1:

Now that you've looked at both those images, take a look at how it turned out in the final version of KH HD 1.5 ReMIX:

Why yes, he does have better texture in the remastered version but, the didn't change his 3D model with the other.

Okay, then maybe SE is anti-aliasing the picture instead of using Photoshop.

But for the Riku image, Photoshop could be the reason the photo looks brighter and clearer than in-game.

But it's not just brighter and clearer, it's an entirely different face. A different model with different texture.

@JTD95

I really understand what you mean

when I saw the cutscene with Riku I thought "shouldn't Rikus face to be a lot better?" *looking at screenshot* thank you Square Enix D:

and this is not the only one....in Days they have even reduced the quality compared to the original Days

sometimes the faces are low texture models but in the original game it was all ok with animated faces how it should be

watch the scene from Day 255 and concentrate on Roxas' face and compare the HD with DS version

Well then, Photoshop can explain the reason why it's brighter and clearer, and the replacement of model can explain the textures.

That is really strange. Why would they show a screenshot that has Riku's KH3D model and not put it in the final version of the game?! Why would they even photoshop? For fooling fans? Well I just don't understand this. If we can is it possible to tell Square Enix about this problem? But other than that great job noticing this thing!

I mean Photoshop the image of how it looks in-game.

I'm gonna take a wild gander here and say you have absolutely no bloody clue what the hell you're talking about.

I'm gonna take a wild gander here and say that you're not understanding the point I'm making.

Guys this are shots takin from a PC when it was being ported. There are no edges because it's being rendered on PC with the highest graphics possible. These are shots of the game as it was being ported. It doesnt look as good becuase its at 1080/720p on console and there will be edges on the models.
