OOC: For this arc of the rp to end, all the villains will have to be defeated and jailed. When the villain is jailed, they are done for the rest of the rp. But when I make the next arc, they'll be able to come back if you want.

Sylar strolled through the City streets. It was a perfect day, when anything could be possible. He looked down at the note he had written himself. "Three Grace Way. I think I've arrived." Sylar spoke, and turned to the house on his left. He walked up to the door, and used his telekinesis to pick the lock. He entered the house silently, and closed the door behind him.

The Count is walking from the harbor. He takes his top hat off, and looks around the city streets. "Quite amazing if I do say so myself." he says to himself, commenting o the tall buildings of the City.

Vladii looked up from where she stood to the male who just walked in. She watched him curiously,'How did he get in with all the cops around?' Shrugging, she turned back to the cop that was interviewing her and although she couldn't speak, they let her write down everything that happened and she gave them back the notebook. The cop nodded kindly to her and let her go. Vlad nodded back in thanks and walked over to the boy who just entered. Looking closer she found a strange aura surrounding him and gave him a questioning look.

Zalvar was confused at the look this girl that walked up to him was giving him. "Uh, what, do I have something on me?" asked Zalvar as he gave himself the once over. 'I haven't been on this planet for long, but I doubt I'm ever gonna understand humans.' thought Zalvar. "The name's Zalvar, do you have a name?" asked Zalvar.

Vlad put a hand up to her lips to cover her laughing even though it was silent but she smiled kindly at him. Balancing her grocery bags that she almost forgot on the counter, Vlad motioned for them to walk outside and nodded in response to his question that she indeed has a name.

Zalvar followed Vlad. "So, um, what would your name be, I'm sort of new in town, only been here a few months so, it's been a challenge, I don't even have a place to stay, been sleeping on rooftops, fell off one and landed on the roof of a bus once, woke up on the other side of town." said Zalvar. "So, if you don't mind my asking, what is your name?" asked Zalvar.

Vlad frowned a little as she tried to keep up with his babbling while they headed to her house. It was kind of comforting for someone to talk to her but she wasn't accustomed to it much. She thought of how she could respond without speaking. Her voice hasn't been used in ages and imagining a little light bulb on her head,she smiled and walked to the entrance of an alley and raised a hand, summoning fire to her fingertips as she wrote in the air," Vladii. I don't speak."

"Vladii, that's a nice name." said Zalvar. Zalvar started to think of an explanation for his name, not wanting to mention he was alien. "Well, I was called Zalvar because my parents ran out of name ideas, and decided to give me a strong name, it's kind of weird though." said Zalvar. Zalvar briefly looked to the sky. " I wish they were all around now." said Zalvar, though he didn't realize he actually said it, he assumed he thought it.

Vladii smiled and mouthed the words 'thank you.' After his explanation, she frowned and shook her head multiple times, making her silver hair whip around her face. She motioned to him and gave him a thumbs up, saying that it was a good name. Her frown now turned into a confused one, she watched him curiously wondering what he could mean by the last thing he said.

Zalvar looked back in front of him, paying attention to what was in front of him. "Ya know, it's been a while since I talked with anyone, I've never had a lot of luck with making friends, being the new guy, not many people want to get to know me, especially with my powers, I have brute strength, and control over water, so, it's difficult finding friends, though, it's good finding another superhuman." said Zalvar, remembering that Vladii could control fire. "Sorry if I'm talking to much, it's, mostly what I do around new people, nerves and all." said Zalvar. Zalvar then looked to the stars that were beginning to appear. " Have you ever, looked up to the night sky?" asked Zalvar.

Vladii smiled excitedly and snapped her fingers almost making her bags fall off her wrists. They arrived around a small part of the City where not many people were so she wrote in the air again,"That's why I saw that funny liquid-y aura around you!" She was happy that she finally found another person with powers like her. With a shake of her head, she smiled kindly at him that it was okay, she didn't mind. Stopping in front of her house, she wrote again,"Yes, before i go to sleep."

"I've alway looked at the stars, it was the one thing that me, my parents and my siblings had in common, before....." said Zalvar, until he stopped mid sentence, trying to suppress the memory, as he had done many times before. You could tell by the look on Zalvar's face that the memory was painful, and he didn't want to relive it.

Vlad watched him and her face saddened by the familiar expression that came across him. That same look crossed Vlad's face many times before. Hesitantly, she rested her hand without the bags on his shoulder for some sort of comfort. Pointing to the ground with a few drops of water, she willed them to form the words she thought of,"It gets better, I promise. For now, would you like to stay at my place? I have an extra room."

"Thanks." said Zalvar. Zalvar stated to try and remember the good times he had on his planet, not that he'd mention he was from another planet. "There was one time, one of my older brothers ran into a lamp post.....nine times.....in the same day.....with the same lamp post." laughed Zalvar. "Anyway, I thank you for allowing me to stay." said Zalvar.

Vladii laughed out loud although it sounded like a whisper. She shook her head and opened the door to her house, letting Zalvar come in after her and closed the door. Putting the grocery bags on her kitchen counter, she switched on the lights from the living room lamp and the small light from the kitchen illuminating the large living room but small kitchen which was all well since she didn't eat much. Vlad looked at Zalvar and shrugged smiling, as she sat down on the couch, putting her feet up on the coffee table. She patted the space next to her and reached for the notepad and lead pencil she kept on the coffee table.

Zalvar sat down. "This is a nice place, so, when did you first discover your powers, just curious." said Zalvar.

 

 

Brakus finally arrived at his hideout. "Strange, my sonar picked up more from that boy from earlier, there was a secondary outline, as if human wasn't his actual appearance....still, my fight with him should prove entertaining." said Brakus. Brakus then lied down and fell asleep, all while considering what he should do when he first truly encountered Zalvar.

Vlad tapped the pencil to her chin as she looked up, thinking as if the ceiling had the answers.Once she remembered, Vlad wrote down her response and handed the notepad to Zalvar for him to read,"When I killed my friend. Or ex-friend, i suppose." She pursed her lips into a thin line as she remembered the events of the past.

"Bummer, that had to have been a horrible way to discover your powers, for me, I've had my powers since I was five years old, I discovered my powers when my father almost drowned, though, the experience traumatized me for a while, it's been rough really, not many people talk to me, or even come near me because of my powers." said Zalvar. "Forgive me for asking, but, besides my hydrokenisis aura, what other auras can you see around me?" asked Zalvar.

Vladii smiled sadly and nodded in understanding as he explained. She wrote down more,"I don't see why not. You seem like a pretty nice person unless you, of course, loose your temper I suppose? I, on the other hand, don't like having people too close to me. Sorry." Well, at least she admitted it. Vlad felt a little better after she did. Confused, she processed the question until she understood what he meant and scribbled down another response,"I don't really see auras. I only saw yours because one of your powers focus on water. I see those that are closely allied to elements or animals since those are my powers."

'oh great, she can sense animal, well, at least she hasn't asked about my shark side, if she saw that aura.' thought Zalvar. "It must be tough, not letting anyone get close, but, each time i meet someone, i'll always watch their back, regardless of the risk to myself, my father was a very honorable man, he taught me to protect the innocent, i've lived by the code of honor ever since, i've never used my powers in a lethal way, unless they tried to kill me first." said Zalvar. "So, do you live by something you believe in?" asked Zalvar.

Vlad smiled again and wrote,"Your father taught you well" She thought of her family or as much as she remembered of them and angry tears came to her eyes. Wiping them away quickly so he won't see, she thought of what she believed in and crinkled her nose, thinking hers wasn't as great or meaningful as his. "I go by Expect the Unexpected."she wrote and shrugged.

"That's actually a good thing to go by, it saved my hide more than i can remember, though, there was that one time i ended up in a tiger cage at that zoo last month i've heard of 'Cat got your tongue' but that was ridiculous." said Zalvar. "So, you've never really had a friend to watch your back, that must've been rough, but, i'll watch your back, you can count on that." said Zalvar.

Vladii couldn't help but laugh again, this time her laugh had more sound. It felt good to laugh, she hasn't had that good feeling since her adopted parents died two years ago. 'A tiger cage? A zoo? How does he get into these situations?' She laughed again and doubled over, barely being able to breathe. Abruptly, she stopped and straightened up, giving him a hard look as flames appeared in front of them, forming angry words,"I don't need anyone's help!"

Brakus woke, though it was still during the night. "Hmm, maybe it's time i found that boy and fought him." said Brakus as he dispersed into bats and flew off. It didn't take Brakus long to find Zalvar, as his sonar picked up both Zalvar's human outline and true form outline at the same time. Brakus landed on the street across from the house, waiting to be noticed.

 

Zalvar raised his hands as if he was in a stick up. However, Zalvar's face soon went from defensive, to a slightly angered look, symbolizing awareness. "There's trouble nearby." said Zalvar. Zalvar stood up and went to a nearby window, noticing a figure standing across the road. As Zalvar noticed the figure, his eyes started changing to that of a shark, pure black like an endless pupil. "Be back in a minute." said Zalvar as he opened the window and jumped out. Zalvar was soon near the figure, staring him down. "Who are you?!" Zalvar practically shouted.

 

"The name, is Brakus, learn it well." Brakus called back. Everyone that was on the street at that point fled, as they knew Brakus was a feared villain, and that he left no opponent alive.

Blinking, Vladii's flames extinguished as she saw Zalvar jump out the window. 'The window?! Sighing, she stood up to see what he meant by trouble nearby. Nearing the window, she saw a bit of a face-off with Zalvar and a weird Power Ranger looking guy. Stifling an eye roll, she closed the window and walked out the front door like a sane person would and stood next to Zalvar silently.

Brakus gave an evil smirk. "You didn't strike me as the kind of hero to fight two on one." said Brkaus. Zalvar had a frustrated glare towards Brakus. "Who says i'll be fighting you, i don't fight for fun." said Zalvar. "Unfortunately, i do." said Brakus as he ran at Zalvar. "Stay back, Vladii, if this guy wants a fight, i'll give him one." said Zalvar as he ran towards Brakus. Zalvar and Brakus were soon throwing punches and kicks at each other.

"I'll kill you!"

 

Skyde smirked at the angered guard. The guard was one of two in front of the vault, and he was tough. The other one had been too, but he was laying on the floor in a small pool of blood now. Skyde no longer responded to threats as any sort of issue, he just laughed them off. His smirk didn't change.

 

The man charged him and upholstered his pistol. Bad move. Skyde brought one of his grappling hooks up- he had two, both were within small machines on his wrists that automated most of the process. It left him the job of the kill. He shot the first hook towards a rail beside the safe  and rocketed towards it. To Skyde, everything was slow, that was his power, and that was his curse. He unhooked from the rail and brought his knee around into the guards face before the man even have his weapon upholstered. Skyde snatched it from him in a single movement and a gunshot rang out in the vault lobby. The guard collapsed. Skyde allowed his hook to fully retract and looked down at the man who was threatening him just a moment ago.

 

"You aren't the first to try."

 

Now... time to open the vault.
