In fact....both Jessie and James need to quit Team Rocket....they just need to quit stealing Ash's Pikachu,catch their own Pikachu and evolve it into a Raichu

Ash literally just needs his Charazard, Pikachu, Butterfree, Staraptor, Blazikin, and a ground type, so I'm guessing his Mudkip after it Evolves into its final evolution (Name escapes him) and he would likely FINALLY finish the Pokemon league. James would literally walk in, and the competitor's pokemon would leave their trainers for him because he is just that good.

So true, James is way more considerate of his Pokemon's wishes than Ash is on a regular basis. But let us not forget when James abusively kicked his Magikarp into the ocean out of frustration, where it proceeded to evolve into a Gyarados and enact its revenge.

Actually I don't remember that Magicarp was his own back then......But that shows how James had developed (even if a little bit) unlike Ash who had 0% character development since he stepped into Hoenn

Yeah he bought it from the Magikarp salesman. It was in a golden pokeball, and he called it out and everything. And you're right it really actually does show how his character has changed. Unfortunately, our main protagonist has only regressed. . .
