I'm gonna get a PS3 for 1.5 but I actually want to try some other games now too.I'm not really into things like CoD or any game requiring me using a gun, I'd rather fight with a sword or other kind of weapon. if you get what I mean, ^^.Does anyone have a good suggestion on what's a good game?

FINAL FANTASY XIII, FINAL FANTASY XIII-2, Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX and FINAL FANTASY X/X-2 HD Remaster.

I too am not a fan of First Person Shooters. Mainly because of the short to nonexistent storyline. I will take a 45 hour story over a 5 hour one with endless multiplayer EVERY SINGLE DAY. 

 

here are some games I recommend:

Final Fantasy XIII and XIII-2

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD (when it comes out)

Skyrim now that they have pretty much fixed all the problems it had on PS3 and all the DLC is available for it.

Star ocean is great

valkyria chronicles isnt bad either

Assassin's Creed I, II, Brotherhood, Revelations, III, and soon to be IV.

 

Some other great games that aren't really RPG's but they are great platformers:

The Ratchet and Clank Collection

Ratchet and Clank Future: all 3 games

Uncharted Series

 

Then some other just flat out great games:

Batman Arkham Asylum and Arkham City

Lego Lord of the Rings 

MLB THE SHOW 13 (Idk if you like sports, but this is one of the best games out there)

i played the one on ps1 well an emulator but it slows down my comp...alot

I'm also not big on shooters.  It seems everyone's pretty much mentioned these titles already, but I'll list 'em out anyway so that the receive another positive vote:
