Obviously they couldn't do that much back then, but I still find it hilarious. You see a game that has really awesome cover art, and then when you play it, it looks nothing like it Sometimes it looks like it has nothing to do with the title/boxart at all.

 

If you know some hilarious boxart from old NES games (or any game), feel free to post.

I still see games on the most recent consoles doing this today, the "Not actual game footage" lurks on every trailer.

I will never forget this:
