A new image has gone live through the Japanese message boards and showcase what appears to be a new Mewtwo form. This follows on from various information we have received regarding the movie and CoroCoro promising a special feature in the poster next month. Currently, there is no confirmation for this, so don't take it as fact yet, but we'll provide it asap

Two new forms of Mewtwo could be on their way to Pokemon gamers in future.

NowGamer has been investigating the Japanese pokemon movie site and found reference to 'Godspeed Mewtwo' in the source code of the site.

If you go to Pokemon-Movie.JP and try to bookmark the site - then translate the text that appears in the bookmark window - you see this: "Pikachu and Eevee ☆ Friends" screening "simultaneous awakening of genomic sect Mewtwo Godspeed" Pokemon movie official site | About Pokemon | awakening genome sect of Godspeed Mewtwo"

Although this could be a mis-translation, the image on the page suggests there will be two new forms - the Mewtwo image has two empty circles underneath ready to be filled like Genesect's circles on the left.

EDIT: The Pokemon Youtube Channel Uploaded the clip of the new Mewtwo-like Pokemon.

Definitely related to Mewtwo.  That first move looked to be Psystrike, which is Mewtwo's special move.

I'm guessing it's just the Japanese voice for Mewtwo.

 

And yay they are attacking buildings, so it isn't always taking place in central park.

You mean the Japanese Jinpatchi Mishima-esque voice????? (I'm not kidding,he had once the same VA of Jinpatchi from Tekken)

 

Anyway,I hope that Dan Green(Yes, he voiced Mewtwo in the special Mewtwo's Return Episode,and he also voiced Knuckles) or Liam O' Brian will voice him in the English version.

 

As for the change in the Japanese voice,maybe that will be a different Mewtwo than the one from the First movie

Besides for all we know, theoretically speaking, this Mewtwo might not be the Mewtwo we know. It could be Newtwo.

Highly doubt it though since there is one Mewtwo but who knows, its a freaking DNA Pokémon and it might replicate itself.

That's what I exactly said,If Team Rocket created Mewtwo,what prevent a more technological organization like Team Plasma from creating their own????

 

Maybe this Mewtwo was created by Team Plasma but he betrayed them so they sent a whole unit of Genesects to hunt him down

You should watch the "Mewtwo's Return" Special episode(which got released outside Japan as a movie).

 

The Episode is 1 hour long and it shows where Mewtwo is heading alongside his fellow clone Pokemons
