"So what's the point of making me read this?" Amelia said regarding to a book on myths Tichelli made her examine.

"Oh nothing, just to pass time," he said sarcastically, " Amelia, i'm trying to work, dont ask stupid questions."

Amelia let out a big sigh and layed on her back reading the book. The book was about lycanthropes, she noticed Tichelli had recently gone obssesed with them since the trials started but he never really told her his reasoning behind the matter. Everything seemed so strange dueing the course of the past week. The random shots they had some teenagers get and then the virus. What next?

"Ah, thats exactly what we need," Tichelli said suddenly, "we need more volunteers! Amelia.." he turned to her.

"i'll see if people around the area want to try." she said as Tichelli smiled and she got to her feet.

Jason pushed the couch back down and put Kerri and Kira on it with their heads on the different arms.  He put a blanket over them.  Jason then sat against the wall and fell asleep himself waiting for morning.  He was actually able to sleep even though school was only in a couple of hours till school starts.  Jason didn't dream, he was just asleep and thats all that matters.

Kira snuggled into the blanket that was placed on her, she was having a strange dream

She was in a forest looking around for something but she didnt know what, she felt like something was watching her every move "Who's there?" No one came out Kira heard a mix of growling and whining right then she knew what it was "I wont hurt you, you can come out" she said softly, she could see a faint shadow behind the trees "I wont let them hurt you" her wolf was about to step out when all of a sudden there was a bright light and she had woken up.

Kira stood up and looked out the window, it was morning, "that means school" she said to herself as she went over and sat down by Jason "Wake up Jason"

She said to aloud to herself before he could fully awake "We picked a great leader, intelligent, funny, and very handsome" she chuckled to herself

A pain in her legs awoke Kerri.

"Blasted cramps" was what she meant to say, but an incoherent muttering was all the came out of here mouth. She forced herself into a sitting position and looked blearily around the room.

"Well, the 'pack' is mostly here." she thought.

She pushed herself up onto her feet. She felt steadier on them then she had before. She also felt ravenously hungry, and she could tell her stomach wasn't the only thing that was growling at her. But first, to see a man about a dog. She stumbled off towards a bathroom.

"Hey Kerri" she waved at her then stood up from where she was sitting and got ready

Jason stood up and yawned.  There is another shower upstairs in my parents room you can take.  I'll take mine and we'll get ready" Jason said  He grabbed a towel and looked at them both  "I'll buy us a huge breakfast on our way to school.  I'll give you a ride too" Jason said going upstairs to shower.   He got showered and dressed and ready so he waited for the girls falling asleep on the couch upstairs

Kerri waved a hand at Kira as she walked by to the bathroom. She quickly did her business and tried to fix the tangled light brown mass that was her hair. She would need to go by her house to get clothes, toothbrush and the like, but that would unfortunately have to wait until after school.

She showered quickly, got redressed and out of the bathroom.

Jason opened his eyes and saw Kerri was ready  "How'd you sleep?" Jason asked.  He could hear the shower going for Kira and waited.   He wanted to go back to sleep but he couldn't.   "KIRA HURRY UP!!!"  Jason yelled rolling his eyes.  He was ready to get up and move at school  He really missed football practice.  He then stood up and started pacing around trying to stay awake

"Like the dead." Kerri answered.

She rubbed her eyes.

"You got any coffee or something with caffeine in the house?"

"I know how you feel" Jason replied.  "I don't have any but I'll pick us up some Starbucks" Jason said slowly awakening trying to keep his eyes open the whole time.  Jason then looked down and and started tapping his foot.  "So what grade are you in?" Jason asked  making small talk as he waited for Kira to get out of the shower.

(Yup!! Wasn't Following This Thread. No Wonder I Keep Falling Behind!! Following It Now.

Just Need To Wait For An Opportune Moment To Strike.. Er, I Mean "Jump In."

Mwa ha ha ha)

Kira heared Jason yell out for her to hurry up "IM COMING!!!" she shook her head and stepped out the shower putting on her clothes then did what she had to do and walked out of there.

"Ugh, I don't wanna go back to school just yet but I can't wait to see what I can do though" she had thought to herself as she was running downstairs and knocked right into Dion, she landed on the floor "Ouch" Kira rubbed her head and stood up "Sorry"

"Alright lets all go and eat" Jason said as everyone loaded up into his pickup and they went inside McDonald's and Jason ordered 3 Bacon Egg and Cheese Biscuit meals.  He knew it was big but it would be better since his metabolism is running faster and better.   Jason then ordered a nice Cold Carmel Frappe and then paid for what everyone else got and they drove to school and finished eating in the car.

Kira was almost done with her food when they were arriving at school

"Alright, remember to keep your cool and do not tell anyone about us" she said between mouth fulls

Kira stuffed the rest of her food down and looked at the others "Okay... lets get going!" she tried to sound excited but she really wasnt

Kerri got a large coffee and two chicken biscuits. She ate and drank quickly, reflecting on what has been happening lately. She was about to get out of the car when she froze.

"My chair!" she exclaimed. "People here know I need a chair."

She looked a little frantic.

"Where did I leave it?"

"You left it at the house, I'll race there if you want me to?" Kira asked Kerri

Alexander had almost gotten to the school now. He wore is headphones as usual, currently listening to a song titled Forever by Siah. His hair still drooped down messily, the bangs covering over his eye and down near his chin as he wore an assymetrical shirt and jacket that were slightly worn. His blue eyes gazed ahead as if in its own universe, lost about but still going the right direction. Upon arriving the school, his class hadn't started yet, so he quietly sat and leaned against the wall, scrolling through the songs in his iPod, ignoring everyone else who ignored him just as much.

Joshua already sat in his class, early and boringly gazing down at the floor as he rested his arms amd head upon the desk. In front of him was a creature...a demon of sorts, standing there from Joshua's...ability. It was normal to him. Scared out of his mind for most of the time, he eventually developed an immunity. Made friends with the beings of his own mind, separated from humanity and the world so simply. One whispered something in his ear as it caressed his neck for a second, Joshua simply smiling softly and chuckling in response, with no one around him.

Kerri stood still for a moment then shook her head.

"No, I'll take care of this." she said. "Just worry about your classes."

Kerri took off, still not as fast or gracefully as others, but her legs were carrying her better and looked stronger. She got to a wooded area and stopped. After making sure she wasn't seen, she closed her eyes.

"Come on." she muttered.

She dropped to her knees and changed. The Wolf stretched to try to get rid of the lingering pain. She smelled rabbits nearby, but she could feel her other half urging her on. She snorted and took off running to the Alpha's place.

Kira just shrugged and walked into the school building heading to class

"Hm" she stood infront of her classroom door "Be calm, I probably know most of them" she pulled it together not showing her nervousness and walked into the classroom, looking around at everyone that was in there

Kira took a seat by the one that was wearing the headphones "That scent..." she said to herself about the boy

Dion was running late for school. It wasn't too far from his house, but he had been asleep for too long. He jumped out of the shower and raced downstairs. He grabbed a piece of toast from the plate his mom had prepared and kissed her on the cheek. Something he hardly ever did since he went deaf. "Bye, I love you!!" She called out to him a little surprised, but pleased.

"I love you too." He replied. Leaving his mom in shock

[What.. just happened??] His mom thought as Dion dashed to school "He replied to me with even looking at my lips!!" She exclaimed to herself "Did he just assume I'd say that?? Or.. no. He must've just known I'd say that.. " She shook her head and resumed whatever she was doing (Dishes??)

Dion hadn't thought anything of it at the time. He was worried about school.

Everyday his dog walks with him to school. On the days he did run, his dog always ran with him easily. Dion dashed towards schoool full speed ahead. He looked around to see his dog. He didn't see him. He looked behind him to see the dog way behind him.

[is he sick too?? Please, don't be sick!!] He thought to himself.

The truth was, his dog was running at full speed. He was just no longer able to keep up with his master, who hadn't even noticed the increase in his speed..

Jason grinned to himself whenever he saw her run off.  He then turned around and pulled his backpack over his shoulder and walked into the schoolyard.  He saw his old team mates who seemed shocked he wasn't paralyzed anymore.   "You ready for the game?"  A voice said.

Jason so forgot.   His team was facing their rivals tonight for the games they missed this weekend.  "Crap,  I guess so.   I need to go back home and get my Jersey from home.  Cover for me in 1st Block"  Jason said as he drove home.   He went inside and threw off his shirt and grabbed an underarmor shirt and his Jersey and a bag for his football gear.  Jason then could hear a change in process.  He could smell Kerri  getting closer, very fastly.  Jason threw on his tight under armor shirt and Jersey and waited for Kerri to arrive to make sure she'd be okay

Despite him wearing headphones oh so much, he had relatively good hearing. Alexander overheard the girl's mumbling and he removed onw of his headphones. "Hm? What, do I need a shower that bad?" He asked a bit sarcastically, yet still with a straight face. "Whatever." He said. He plugged his headphones back in, now listening to Inside by Warmer.

More peers of Joshua's entered the class, since it was going to start soon. Joshua was a freshman— despite being eleven. He skipped a few grades, always more paranoid and yet still concentrated though.

The wolf halted outside the Alpha's dwelling. There were....doors. She could not open doors. She trotted into the trees and changed.

Kerri got herself up and limped to the house. Inside, she found her chair. She sat down in it, considering the problem of how to get back to school with it. She could feel her wolf inside, mirroring her thoughts that she didn't want to go through the change again too soon.

It was odd, having the wolf inside. On one hand, she was Kerri. Same temperament, same protective tendencies. Yet, the wolf was different. For one, she was a wolf. Things that concerned the human didn't concern the wolf. She also saw things more black and white than Kerri herself.

One thing that was weird for Kerri was that the wolf had her own opinions. Kerri had seen the wolf stop fighting last night when she had realized that she was fighting Jason. The Alpha of the pack. Kerri was still getting use to the idea of Jason in charge, but the wolf excepted it.

"I might have to take your world for it." Kerri said to herself.

She stood up and looked at her wheelchair. She could feel that neither her or the wolf wanted to use it, but it was best to to attract too much attention. The wolf wanted to run and hunt. Kerri got in the chair and rolled out of the house, promising herself and the wolf that they would go running later.

"Anyway..." Kira walked around the room bored out of her mind

"Ugh, when is this gonna start? So I can go already" She crossed her arms and leaned on the wall as her friend as you all know Maria came up to her happy to see Kira and certainly shocked

"Hey Maria" they exchanged hugs and smiles

"Hey Kira! It feels like I didnt see you in like FOREVER!" she giggled

"We saw eachother just yesterday I believe" Kira said and Maria looked at her curiously

"Can you see Kira?" she crossed her arms waiting on an answer

"Oh lookey there, its the blind girl" A girl came up to them

"Yea its me..." Kira didnt really feel like arguing at the moment "And I really don't care, so excuse you" she did her hand like she was shooing a stray away, she didnt know why Sara didnt like her.

Sara rolled her eyes "Listen and listen good, you better not get in my way again" after that she left

Ah now she knew why she didnt like her, it was because Kira made head cheerleader like two years ago but now she's not all that interested in it so Sara can go have it.

Maria sighed "Well I'll see you later Kira" she waved and went back to her seat

Kira nodded and stood where she was still standing at waiting.

Jason showed up behind her.   "Better take whose word for what?" Jason said to her hoping to startle her.   "Get up and carry your hair to the truck.  We're already late" Jason laughed as he held the door for her.   "You need to practice your legs if you plan on using them in private" Jason suggested  "You could also play it off as they are slowly getting better" Jason said

"A little slower then suddenly I'm walking." Kerri replied, making no sign she had been startled. "I'm only using the chair when I'm going to school. I'll get my legs fully back into shape when after school."

Kerri realized that problems could be caused too if people realized her "useless" limbs were gaining muscles. That might not be a problem she could really avoid. She got out of her chair, folded it up and put it in the back of the truck. It was only after she had finished this that she realized she had done it one handed.

"And don't butt into private conversations with myself." she told Jason, with a slight hint of humor in her voice. "Me and myself can be quite uptight."
