What is your favorite Playstation startup sequence?

Posted

Out of the Playstation Startup Sequences we've seen so far which is your favorite?

Mine is PS1
The sequences:

PS1

PS2

PSP

PS3

OP Note: Don't know if the Vita has a startup sequence and can't find any videos of one. If there is one and/or you have a video feel free to tell me and I'll edit this post.

I am torn between PS1 and PS2. The PSP start up blew chunks, and the PS3 startup is just boring as hell.

I'm gonna say PS2. It's just so memorable... I can see it in my mind, and hear the sound in my head whenever someone so much as mentions a PS2. With the PS1, I also remember it, but only because I was reminded. If before this thread you had asked me to tell you what the PS1 start up is like, I wouldn't have been able to say it off the top of my head, whereas with the PS2, boom, right there at the front of my mind.

I love the PS1 startup. It has that low sort of boom and then some mystical sounding things.

The PS2, because of all of those times I turned it on.

PS2 with PS1 a close 2nd. I wonder what the PS4 startup will be :P

The one I've seen the most is the PS2 version, but I would say the PS3 version simply cause when there isn't an update to install it takes barely any time to actually start up and let you get on with things.

Before watching the clips I have to say the only one I actually remembered in my head was the PS2 one, and I have 3/4 of those systems.

Also PS3 is 3rd with PSP being last for me

I'm going to have to go with the ps2 because it's the startup sequence I've heard the most, and I'm just so used to it. I like the psp one too, but nah go ps2!~

I have to say PS1 because it has an epic startup.

O.O What...I...hmm....

PS1. Makes me jizz with fear.

Ps1 for me. Mainly because the Playstation was a big deal gaming-wise for me when I was growing up.

Heck, I even replaced the start up sound on my pc to it because I think it is really good.

Mine is Ps1  :)

PS2. That sound :P
