I was just really curious to what's holding up KHIII,
It doesn't have a date or anything... I feel really weird about what's happening with this game... 
it feels like it isn't even in production or something, could someone please explain some things about what's going on with this game to me?

I just HATE Versus XIII

 

It's been SEVEN YEARS since the game's announcement in 2006.An entire console generation and they couldn't get the game done????

 

What are they doing???

 

Seriously I don't believe that the game was in development for 6 years.All of what they're doing was wasting time and money on a project that might never see the light of day instead of working on KH3

 

Lot's of companies have finished their stuff and still no versus:

 

2 major Zelda games got released and still no versus

 

Two generations of Pokemon have passed and still no versus

 

GTA IV got released,GTA5 is coming and still no versus

 

Mass Effect has started,ended and still no versus

 

the freakin PLAYSTATION 4 coming and still no shitty versus.

 

This game has the Duke Nukem Forever Syndrome of extreme delays that is followed by a product that looks like crap

 

They should've canceled it when they had the chance so they can start on KH3 already instead of wasting their time on an FF spin-off

I have a thought that this game will come out eventually. It's just Square is focusing on Final Fantasy 13 and other useless games. Kingdom Hearts 3 has a chance to save the falling of the company! However they're not seeing this!

Versus will probably be a launch title for PS4. The issue is the engines they worked with during this console generation. The original one for Versus was taking a long time, and then they moved to updated ones. Now, if you've seen the demonstration by square of their new one for Next-gen, it is supposed to cut game production time and costs by half. I'm assuming they have been converting it over to that for a PS4 launch. 

 

Also, remember that last year, several people from square who are close to the project (I forget their names) said that it was still coming out, and being localized, etc. It's just one of those games that took a lot longer than it should have. It is like the Avatar of video games. James Cameron wrote Avatar the year after titanic. Then went through 13 years of production before it happened. Makes 7 years for Versus seem short.

What if Versus XIII is not a game?

What if it is actually an epic movie that is too epic, that it shouldn't be released?

It looks really awesome though, with cars and stuff.But I do really feel like time's ticking for KH3,... they think Versus took to long to develop? KH3 Is not even in development ._.
