I wanted to read it but people say it is too long....longer than one piece!

i think one piece is longer...if it takes about 2 minutes per page in average in homestuck and is going to be done in about page 8500(the first page is 1901 and one piece is 30 minutes per episode and is going to be finished in the 1000th episode so...

2*6599=13198

1000*30=30000

homestuck will take you 1/3 of the time it will take you to watch one piece

i used to read it but then i discovered what an asshole andrew hussie is and how problematic homestuck is (as well as how shitty the fandom is) so i havent read it in months.

There was always a lot of hype over it, but I was never able to get into it. :|

is he really that bad? the only thing i can think of that he did wrong was the themes sexual abuse and extreme ableism that showed up between cronus and mituna.

hes made racist comics in the past, handled the situation with jane being canon white in trickster mode ery mediocrely (it was like "ill take down the joke but its still funny lol" which was like no???), ableist slurs throughout the comic, adding unnecessary problematic things (ex. dirk making a robot that sexually harassed jake), as well as i think he stated that the kids could be any race but "definitely not black". dont know if the last one is true but ive heard it around and seen a few receipts but shurgs.
