Anyone else looking for colleges (in the U.S.)?

Posted

I'm actually visiting a college today. I'd like to know how others are doing with their search. I have about 4 colleges I'm considering, but one is my top choice because it has everything I need. I'm more for private smaller-community colleges rather than huge public colleges. I also really don't want to go out-of-state because I wanna be fed and stuff in my own house, and out-of-state tuition is significantly higher.

Right, I'm actually going to one in my hometown. I like traveling, don't get me wrong, but cost is important too.

I used to when I was thinking of doing an art career but those colleges are WAY too expensive.  I just ended up in my local college and university, and next semester the exchange program I'm doing is through my university.

Luckily the community college I went to was only a fifteen minute drive from where I live, and now, I go to a decent university only thirty minutes away.  I can't say I was looking forward to the dormitory experience so it works out.

I'm going to a University (technically the level I'm at is called College where I live, but the qualifications we get are equivalent to a high school diploma and a degree you get in College would be the same as one we get in University), I wouldn't mind changing countries to study (long as they speak english so I understand) but I don't have the money.  I don't even have a passport.

Good luck with your search.

Lucky... I don't live in Florida, but it'd be awesome if I did so I could go there. Congrats!
